Fellas. Buddies. Pals. I'm so underwhelmed.
I remember how the "united we stand" trailer gave me chills and this was just... the opposite of chills.
>Tony blackmailing Peter into a fight with trained soldiers
My biggest WTF; wasn't he butthurt like 5 seconds ago because a mother blamed him for the death of her son??? I liked Spidey, but the way he was introduced was fucking disgusting. He deserves better than be Tony Stark's plaything.
>Tony Stark in general

Cool comics and cartoons.
I want an AU where none of the Hydra shit happened to SHIELD and Steve still trusts the government, Tony hadn't build Ultron and the one who was framed for a terrorist attack was Pepper.

Why are people like Snyder so in love with Superman as a Christ allegory when he was invented by two Jews and inspired by Friedrich Nietzsche's concept of the Ubermensch.
I guess both serve the function of being an ideal of humanity. But Christ is unapproachable, while the other is a concept you can actually strive towards achieving.
Superman in almost every modern interpretation is the Nietzschean Ubermensch, with Latin morality. I explained it in many threads so far, Nietzsche demands only that your will of following your beliefs is absolute, he doesn't specify what kind of beliefs should they be. In "Thus Spake Zarathustra" it's implicitly stated that Ubermensch is the same men as the Christian saint from, say XIII century, but since humanity degenerated into tartuffian cancer of hypocrites and whores, you can't go back to purity, you have to break farther.
Supes is just a really, really good man with strong will and with possibilities far beyond anybody else. He just makes use of them in the way he seems fit. It's all because of his good, classical upbringing and, as I say, indomitable will.
>>82849983
The problem is that Christianity has stylized Jesus and all saints to a degree that there's nothing there connecting them to humanity.
They're so above it.
And Snyder basically did the same with Superman.
That's why it rings so hollow whenever he interacts with Lois or gets emotional. It feels out of place. He really is an alien. It seems like all humanity does is weigh him down.
And that's what I kind of hate about this version of Superman. Because there's nothing he can do about it.
>>82850134
The point is that once there wasn't that fucking propaganda that people are incapable of perfecting their souls and everyone is weak and flawed
Even the original sin concept was as steps for which we can ascend to sainthood. it's only in our day and age that we grovel beneath the carnal desires and weaknesses so much (pardon the language, but it's easier to express what I'm about like that).
Every medieval story, every saint, every great knight or greatest of kings were depicted...

This wasn't that great of a performance

thank you wesley
Kinda hard for me to divorce the performance from the schlocky shit tier writing. Dude has batman level magical powers, and then montage, then he has them again. Ugh.
ARROW SPOILERS"Arrow" season 5 will officially see the return of Colton Haynes' character Roy Harper.
Roy faked his own death in the third season of "Arrow." After which, he returned to the hit The CW series in season 4 to star in two episodes. However, his fans would truly be delighted to find out that the character will officially be back next installment.
While at the Justice Squad Convention in France, Haynes confirmed his return to the franchise.

Someone going to get a new outfit. Interested to see how they think they're going to fit him into the show. I mean they have a spare black leather outfit now I guess...
WOOO ROY THREAD
POST FLIPS
is there any way to have a comic book tv series adaptation without turning it into a fucking CW or police drama? I know I'm not missing any superhuman of the day in AoS.

How does it feel knowing you are wrong?

>CW or police drama?
What's wrong with CW drama? I watch Arrow mostly for Olicity and I like it.
Introduced in a Spider-Man cartoon, is a mutant and most of her appearances were in Avengers and New Warriors. Who would own the film rights for this cutie? is she in All-New All-Different? She's a redheaded cancer patient survivor. that should hit a lot of demographics. Anyone like her?
>>82849274
I like her too anon
I think her rights are with fox
>>82849274
will appear in spiderman as inhuman

I'm hoping Crazy Felicia will be retconned as Loki being an asshat again.
Doesn't Bendis have her attempting to murder Miles because there's too many Spider-Mans?
>they're going to kill off Cap & replace Evans with Stan's bland ass
>the airport fight is going to be horrible
>Cap & Iron Man are going to team up to fight Zemo and everything is going to be perfectly resolved at the end of the movie
>Civil War is going to flop, there's no hype for it
Has /co/ ever been so wrong about a movie before?
>>82849222
People here though BvS was going to be good so theres that
>>82849281
Also, we thought TDKR would be good.
>>82849222
Haven't seen this, but I was kind of hoping Cap would die, just because I think it'd be totally hilarious if two superhero films came out the same year with pretty much the exact same plot.
Especially if everybody loved one but not the other.
