What are your favorite non canon stories?
What have you guys been reading?
I read JLA: The Nail by Alan Davis today. It's from 1998.
It's an Elseworld story where Superman is never found by the Kents. I can't say it's the best comic ever but it did entertain me enough to read it until the end. One of the big positives is that it isn't Batman-centered, pretty much everyone in the League gets some time to shine (though Hawkgirl gets the least).
I expected Blue and Gold edgelords, got nothing. Loving lineup.
>animals can communicate with each other
>can't/won't communicate with humans
is this just lazy or stupid?
It's a trope meant to signify how far humans have separated themselves from the rest of the creatures of the earth.
We've strayed so far from the natural order we can't even communicate anymore.
This show is fucking shit
>Darredevil tortures people
>Action scenes in the dark where you can't see anything
>Outdated dialogue (Wesley/Kingpin talking about "situations" and "friends")
All you've pointed out is persoanl pet peeves and nothing thematically wrong with the piece itself.
Have you even preformed a literary analysis? You know, Composition I English stuff.
The Punisher is the MCU's best villain. Not even a question.
Wait, how the fuck does Pete remember this?
Marvel mind-wiping the identities of Peter -AND- Tony from everyone's mind is objectively one of the shittier decisions they've ever made.
I hate when Pete refers to Spider-Man as being his "bodyguard", same with Tony. It's so unoriginal and fucking boring.
It's not even entertaining as dramatic irony; it's just a huge dick slap in the face of the reader.
Why are action/boys cartoons dead? They were so big in the early 2000's
Got this comic for watching X-Men Apocalypse.
Is this a german thing only or is that a general thing
To be honest I liked the peel logo. It looked really cool animated when it would peel back and something cool would come out like its a comic opening.
The current one seems over simple. Just dc in a circle with some serifs. Even the dc bullet had some style to it.
Is Starco going to happen?
Lets hear those battlecries! It's Xena: Warrior Princess number 2!
Get in here before she puts the pinch on you.
Can we talk about this mad genius? There are lots of Moore and Morrison threads about how crazy and great they are but neither compare. They both play with religious themes but nothing like jodo does.
I think his greatest achievement was Dune cause it's failure lead him into comics and pairing up with amazing artists. But he needs amazing artists because his characters don't talk like real people, everything is surreal and needs an artist who can bridge that gap.
Reading through Son of the Gun now and damn it's great
I never got a feel for Morrison comics despite repeated attempts.
One Jodo comic later and I felt like I was reading what Grant had been trying to be the whole and falling short of. It's glorious.
Thank god for Film4. I would probably have never learnt his name or read his shit if it I hadn't Googled it after a late night showing of El Topo.
Has there been any news whatsoever about the new season since it's announcement?
After last night's FishCenter fuckery, I'm gonna have to ask you for sauce.
>The Annecy animation festival, the world’s largest gathering of industry pros and students, has revealed more programming highlights for its upcoming edition, taking place June 13-18.

>Johns doesn't have a book post-Rebirth
NOW I HOPE DC FIRES HIM
What are the last three movies, /co/?
