Neither. It's popular because of cute girls. And because you can easily imagine the interesting potential of the character dynamics because they're all based on strong archetypes. The show will never capitalize on them, though.

Why did DC just end JH Williams run on Batwoman when he just had two issues left anyways? Why not just move those issues to an annual instead of canning them? I'm kinda confused as to the reasons for this.
