My name is Blossom and I'm here to say...
So Preacher is a shitty show and an even worse adaptation. Any chance it'll get cancelled one season in, despite the positive reviews?
I've been excited about rebirth overall. However, the shit they got going with post crisis superman and new 52 superman is so convoluted and stupid it's really putting me off from wanting to try any of the rebirth superman titles. How could they fuck this up so bad?
>tfw the Joker I'm working for gives shittier benefits than the Joker my cousin works for
You think you've got it bad? My Joker keeps slipping shit into the water cooler. You wake up with your asshole bleeding and your wrists tied together with a batarang rope, and the boss comes slinking back in giggling "Is he gooone?" like a goddamn clown.
Hello fellow hench-people. I am also a hench-person, looking for a well established villain, to hench for. Please do tell, about these THREE different Jokers!
and this is why i stopped reading marvel comics
Did Rebirth #1 imply that this guy is
Doctor Manhattanor am I just a fucking retard?
I don't think DC actually pays enough attention to Morrison's stuff for that. The next writers just gleam whatever surface stuff they want and move on. It could be neat, but doubtful.
Why are superhero comics so retarded?
What are some recommended JSA comics?
Rebirth got me hyped, but I'm not very familiar with these characters.
If you want to read a bunch in order, a good place to hit is the Parobeck short run in the 90s, realize they got fucked up by Zero Hour, then Robinson Starman, Johns Stars and S.T.R.I.P.E., into Robinson/Goyer (yes, that Goyer)/Johns JSA.
So Johns is still the undisputed modern master of cape comics?
Alright /co/, I'm sick of the Big Two and their retarded gimmicks. Can you recommend me some good indie comics that are coming out right now?
If it helps, I enjoy action, high concept stuff and character driven stories. Not necessarily from Image, didn't know what other pic to use.
Chew is close to ending, but I highly recommend the trades/omnivore editions.
Descender and Empty Zone are my current pull list from Image that are solid.
If Vertigo counts, then check out Sheriff of Babylon.
Are there any characters that should just be retired because they've been milked so dry that there's nothing worthwhile left to do with them?
Characters I don't like, especially when they do stories I don't care about.
why educative cartoons are not relevant anymore?
Come on, man, I'm...
I don't get it /co/. If the new 52 is just post crisis with 10 years stolen from these characters. Then what the fuck is up with post crisis superman and new 52 superman? Shouldn't new 52 superman just be post crisis superman 10 years younger? Why does post crisis superman still exist?
>it's a DC fucks up continuity even further episode
I forgot what issue but its explained he and Lois escaped the event that caused Nu52.
So just like Wally the universe tried to replace him.
They chose whoever nu52.
Which brings the question of who the fuck he was.
Because the universe chose the black Wally most likely due to having the same name and family connection to Barry.
So why was this Superman chosen?
I want to get into cartoons
Other than Adventure Time, Avatar and Rick & Morty what else over the last 5 years has been noteable?
