Keeping the Joker safe is no laughing matter.
Six Flags Great Adventure shut down its much-hyped new roller coaster after two riders became stuck for about 15 minutes on the day it opened for previews.
The Joker — billed as a “4-D, free-fly coaster” — lacks traditional tracks below or above, enabling the trains to perform “head-over-heels free-fly flips” as they race along in the Jackson, N.J., theme park.
Around 12:30 p.m., about an hour after an unveiling ceremony, one of the trains on the “Batman”-villain-inspired ride was swaying a bit...

Two men were stuck in their seats until park workers could release the shoulder harnesses and perform the necessary maintenance.
Siebeneicher said no riders were injured during the incident and that the ride had been running flawlessly all morning with...

So it free flies huh? What if a really fat guy gets on?
Why would you have a really dangerous heavy machinery themed around a psychopatic serial killer?

Reminder that there's a network still airing Stickin' Around and Denver the Dinosaur (from 1988). The kicker is that it's a non-cable station in a lot of areas.

According to this, they also had Filmation Ghostbusters, the original He-man, and the live-action Animorphs a few years back.
Let's all take a moment to appreciate what a clusterfuck of random shows this is.
>Anne of Green Gables: The Animated Series
Welp, thats it. Nick and CN might as well retire. No competing with that.
Not that anyone cares, but it's also still airing "Sitting Ducks" and "Pecola"
I remember where Qubo had show, where you get to finish a episode of show online with inactive comic book type shit about a boy, a girl and they're talking cat. I forgot what's it's call though.
why doesn't xavier use wolverine's power to fix his legs

X-MEN (2000)
>In 1989, Carolco Pictures approached Kathryn Bigelow to direct the movie, with James Cameron as executive producer, a script by Andrew Kevin Walker and Bob Hoskin in advanced talks to play Wolverine, but the project was scrapped when Carolco went bankrupt, and the rights were eventually acquired by 20th Century Fox in 1992.
>Walker's script was scrapped, and 28 drafts were submitted by multiple writers between 1992 and 1996, among them Joss Whedon and Michael...

>Russell Crowe was Singer's first choice to play Wolverine, but declined due to salary issues. The studio's top choices were Keannu Reeves and Gary Sinise. Edward Norton, Kiefer Sutherland, Aaron Eckhart and Viggo Mortensen were also considered before Dougray Scott was cast. However, he was forced to drop out due to scheduling conflicts with last-minute additional photography for MISSION IMPOSSIBLE II and was replaced by Hugh Jackman at Crowe's behest. Jackman was cast three weeks into filming.

>At one point, the studio considered giving the X-Men their classic colorful uniforms from the comics, but Singer and studio both believed that black leather uniforms would be easier to producer, and more realistic and aesthetically pleasing.
>Production was fraught with issues including script rewrites, unexpected delays and budget issues. Fox notoriously postponed the movie from Christmas 1999 to July 2000 and the rescheduled shooting caused several actors and crew members to drop out due to conflicts with other commitments.Comment too long. >David Hayter and Zak Penn wrote two different scripts, both centered on the Legacy Virus, which were later combined and revised by Singer, Michael Dougherty and Dan Harris. Singer decided to not use the Legacy Virus in favor of an adaptation of "God Loves, Man Kills".
>In early drafts, William Stryker had several brainwashed mutant enforcers, including Sabretooth, Toad and Archangel, who would have Adamantium wings. Sabretooth and Archangel were removed due to budget issues,...

Nope.

She was interesting but bryke stopped short of fully realizing her character.
So what do you think about the reveal that Wonder Woman has a twin brother /co/?
I assume Rucka will get into it since his first arc is about secrets and lies from Diana's past
Do you think Jason will be a hero or a villain? Will he be a cool guy or super serious? What do you want him to be? How do you want Diana to react to this info?
>>83229106
Jason is going to be a full on villain. Also gay because progressive.

>Brevoort: I think another good parallel to what's going on right now is pretty clearly "Superior Spider-Man" -- particularly at the outset, where there were plenty of readers who were aghast at the idea that we would kill Peter Parker and Doc Ock would take over his body and be Spider-Man. And then in similar games of telephone, and people not looking at the comics but looking at the reporting on the comics, or what have you, it turns into "Spider-Man is raping Mary Jane, because Mary Jane doesn't know he's Doc Ock, this is terrible, Marvel is promoting non-consensual sex." The story wasn't any of that, and what drove a lot of that was just, people felt so strongly for Peter Parker, and were just afraid that he was going to be gone and ruined forever, and they'd never see him again. Once the storyline was closing, and once it was over, suddenly all these people materialized -- some of them the same people -- who were like, "Wow, that was the greatest thing ever, what a roller coaster ride." Part of it was, they could now feel comfortable to approach the story on its own level, because they didn't have to be worried about the ending -- they knew it would be OK. In essence, this is the argument of, "People want to have spoilers. They want to know how the movie ends." I don't really believe that; I think that's just a facile argument used by people who want to make a buck by spoiling things for other people. But there's some truth to the underlying idea that people can get so emotionally worked up about a story that they're experiencing that they can't actually enjoy it until they know everything turns out OK in the end.
He makes a good point. Why the retards always jump to false conclusions over a single page or cover?
>>83228260
because people like to feel triggered and oppressed which allows them to go on a soap box to make themselves feel better
>>83228260
It better not drag on for 30 fucking issues like Superior did, the fun wore off like half way through
>don't worry, obviously this isn't all there is on the matter, just pay $3.99 every month for the next year to find out why this panel isn't representative of the status quo of Captain America
Obviously a lot of the detractors are fucking idiots, let's not have any disagreement on that OP. Like burning copies of the issue, or making stupid arguents at the creators on twitter. Like, calm down and get a life.
But it's disenguous story-telling to present something serially, but disavow serial reactions to it.
Give me 1 (ONE) good reason why this wouldn't have worked. Both story-wise and for the characters.
It's too logical and wouldn't pander to SJW's for those precious shekels
Because they needed to shoehorn in a lesbian thing to be progressive, it retroactively saved the show by making two girls hold hands.
It would have worked just fine, but Bryke thought everyone hated Kataang for no reason and loved Zutara for no reason, so they tried to make Zutara this time instead.
