Is 2000AD the most influential comic book ever?
>>83306667
Action Comics #1.
>>83306667
...It would be if it also said 'Frank Miller' on that list.
People forget.
>>83307263
Did you know that Miller was commissioned to do a cover for the Judge Dredd Megazine 10th anniversary? I can't find who it was, but I recall several writers and artists skipped being paid on some of their stories just so they could afford to do it. What they got was pic related.
They didn't use it in the end.
Great and Loveable edition

The life and death of Terry the bunny was pretty touching
I'M THINKING OF A NUMBER
Poor little Queen Mottom. She's a victim.
>>83303813
Something about her being in such a young form make her story a lot more horrific. I wonder if she did that on purpose.
>>83303841
Probably. I wonder what he's going to be like now that we go to meet him.

Hopefully dead or some variation thereof. Would be a nice dramatic sting moment.

I recently rewatched all of Korra.
I hated it when it was airing. I think this is because we had a week, if not weeks between episodes which gave all of us time to nitpick every last detail.
I marathoned each season, separately of course.
It is much better in one sitting.
Has /co/ come around to Korra, or is it still the same?
>>83301060
I'm sure that most people that reply to this are going to say it's shit like every other thread, but I honestly like Korra. Not as good as the Last Airbender, but still enjoyable for me.
Mediocre is the word you're looking for.

>I recently rewatched all of Korra.
You have my sympathies.
Just saw Apocalypse. It has its own thread(s), though, so I'm not looking to discuss it here.
I want some X-related recommendations, but only of more recent stuff. After AvX years ago, I picked up All New and Uncanny and read them both for a handful of issues. I was enjoying them to a degree, but had to cut them for budget purposes.
Which running series right now are people enjoying? What books from the past five or so years are worth visiting? If characters matter, I'm most interested in Jubilee, Magneto, Jean, and X-23.
Are there any essential...

The secret of the X-Men is that in the 70's when Claremotn and Cockrum were just starting their run NO ONE WAS WATCHING. The X-Men were a failed comic that was pretty much only brought back because Cockrum asked Roy Thomas if he could give it a shot. It was unrestrained creativity becasue no one had any expectations. If anyone at Marvel...

Why can't western comics be organized and released like manga?
Run for 24 to 60 volumes and then just end. Easy to get into. No clusterfuck of writers or off model art.

Diamond.
The west is just fucked when it comes to editorial BS.
Someone /thread me.
Also a lot of indie/non-cape comics do that though. Like Hellboy. God bless Hellboy
>>83299925
Fuck that, I've got a much more important question. Who owns the distribution rights to Suffering-Man, and what do I have to do to get it released in print?
>>83299925
I dont think you really want an answer, I think youre just trying to cause trouble.
