Vaquez's upcoming show for the Mouse House
In the interest of escaping DCfriend shitposting, can we just have a good old fashioned positive Marvel thread?
There are so many things I'm hype for right now and I'm sick of all the negativity getting spewed.
>Captain America being Hydra has blown up WORLDWIDE. Seriously, I've never seen a comic get people this excited, and I've heard it's selling out everywhere.
>Civil War 2 in full swing with a real shocker already RIP Shulk
>Black Panther's...

>Marvel Now! on it's way.
I can't get over this. The same fucking name.
Why is she such a slut?
She's a 12-year-old girl. They're all sluts at heart.
can boys be sluts too
>>83596327
No little boys are pure. That's why they smell like berries while girls smell like old tampons and farts.
CON

What did he mean by this?
ITT: Moments a cartoon fucking slayed you
Hard mode: No spongebob
>>83596063
I laughed cause it just went absurdly racist there. I can tell now that this is one of those examples where the MPAA said something was bad so they sent back an even worse cut.
>>83596063
But was the song correctly translated into all the languages? Because there's nothing quite like linguistically correct racism.

Basically this whole episode

I think it exists at the crossroads of goofy and creepy.
>>83596016
>Adult swim meets nostalgia
I think we need more.
>>83596016
It's surprisingly good for what it is. Will watch more.
Why must our heroes suffer forever?
God was that Neil Gaiman Batman story some pedestrian schlock

Korra had a nice body though.
Guys, it's /a/You should have read the flyer outside about the anime talk days. I set this up a long time ago with the priest. He gave me permission on the condition that I would tell no one that he really likes Sword Art Online season 2. And don't tell anyone I said that, or I'm going to have to go back to that tent in the park. Raccoons don't want to talk about anime. They just want to scratch me and make awful screaming noises.
>>83595788
>he really likes Sword Art Online season 2
absolutely AWFUL
>>83595788
So do you guys have thtese threads ironically now or what?
Does Ronnie have an actual job? I hope he does.
okay so one of the issues was a trap that was meant to expose you, the reader, to the villains allowing him to invade his earth but I now realize this ties into All-Star Superman where the actual person of superman is real in our universe and he takes his form in the comics and so did his villain and I now realize the issue was meant not as a trap to us but to the villain as grant morrison has hope for us to think of a better idea to beat his villain. sorry, tad drunk, but this is en epiphany to me
Chat Conversation End
>>83595731
But aren't we the final villains in all these stories? We're the Empty Hand, the one that continues to propel the story on forward, constantly exposing these characters to greater threats and dangers.
>On one Earth Superman's rocket landed in Kansas
>In ours it landed in a comic book
>The idea of a man who will never let us down VS the extreme archetypes of villainy
>Ultra was literally a super villain trap and we used it against them
>>83595784
but aren't we also the one's who determine hwow the heroes defeat the threat? aren't both the problems and answers within us and isn't it up to us to write the THE END that superman deserves like in the end of superman 4-d?
Bill Waterson must be George Carlin of comics. Can somebody explain why this cunt is so revered for his smug contrarianism? If he were born in our generation he probably would have never even taken up art in the first place; he'd be too busy correcting people on Reddit.
>>83595715
file name... damn
Personally I like his stuff and I think it holds up, today.
Also pretty much 100% of success stories boil down to being at the right place at the right time
>>83595715
He was passionate about his work and stuck to his principles. He also stays away from the Internet. I wish I could be half the man he is.
>>83595715
For one he's actually good so the Carlin comparison is inaccurate and the concept of an author that wanted nothing to do with whatever merchandising scheme the big wigs come up with is a nice change of pace. He set out to make a story with a boy and his tiger and finished it at that,
>If he were born in our generation he probably would have never even taken up art in the first place; he'd be too busy correcting people on Reddit
Oh, this is b8
>It's an episode where the main characters play a sport against other people who may or may not be evil for no reason whatsoever
Fucking think of other ideas you lazy assholes, like goddamn.
>>83595534
>It's a thread where some idiot who thinks original ideas are possible bitches about tropes.
>It's always baseball for some reason
>>83595648
>>83595534
This trope always seems eerily off, yet is somehow accepted as a thing like circumcision
Why does the cartoon board like a show with awful animation?
>>83595234
You think /co/ likes this? As an entity we don't like a single thing in the whole world, let alone this show which is spammed more than Steven Universe these days. Tripfags run rampant in every thread and it's pretty much the definition of 'waifu the show' in western animation.I personally think it's a good show though, and I love the art. Reminds me of comics like Garfield.
Since it's becoming Nick's highest-rated cartoon, it's either that good or Nick has been that bad lately. It may just be that the masses are crying for anything fresh that isn't Spongebob or Fairly Old Babby.
>>83595234
Cartoons have terrible animation in general. Only a few exceptions break the trend.
