Is Chad a good role model?
>>83633258
>IM GONNA WRECK IT
>>83633258
He makes an effort
And honestly that is more than a lot of people can say
Well this is the first time i see a stepfather or Mom's boyfriend represented as good in a cartoon at least he's shown to love Clarence. We don't even know what happen to Clarence's real father
What happened in 1924?
1923 ended.

One of the greatest times to be living as an upper-class white man?
>helps kidnap Xavier and helps Apocalypse almost absorb and kill him with no remorse
>literally kills billions of people across the globe (more people than the holocaust)
>Prof X just let's him go on his merry way
Really, Prof X? Really? The guy commits more genicide than any dictator (killing human and mutant) and you just let him walk away like it was nothing? Really?
>>83632747
But he rebuilt the house! Well the metal parts anyway. So just the girders and foundation rods and the nails while Jean did all the really hard stuff. But still.
After Apocalypse you'd think the world would just get the message and leave the fucker alone. You kill his wife and daughter and the douchebag causes trillions in property damage. In the next movie he better either be King of Genosha or floating around in Asteroid M.
>>83632747
Its not genocide unless its against a specific group of people
>>83632747
>literally kills billions of people across the globe
I haven't watched the movie, but that doesn't sound right. There were almost 4.7 billion people in 1983.
Re-remastered version of TF 87 is coming in September. All I have is the vhs version so this seems kind if worth. What do you guys think?
I recently saw a 1080p torrent of it and it looked amazing. There is just so much animated detail in this production that it will indeed benefit from a solid remastering

Region 1?
It' been out of print in R1 for fuckin' ever and I don't get why. What was the hold up after Sony's release?
Hmm. Anything extra that the 20th Anniversary edition doesn't have?
Why aren't there any superheroes guarding prisons full-time? Imagine how much less crime there would be if super villains weren't constantly breaking out of prison over and over.
Lock-Up did it in No Man's Land.
Punisher 2099 made a prison in his basement so he could do just that.
My friend and I made a comic strip about that.
At least with Arkham they can't be executed due to insanity, and with Iron Heights none of them are serious enough. The Penguin and Lex Luthor dodging the chair is bullshit.

>Punisher 2099 made a prison in his basement so he could do just that.

What?
So is Cap going to steal Militant's costume now?
>>83632660
Why would he?
America is hydra
>>83632678
Yes, but how many people does he know that already have the suit made?
>>83632660
Why is Reverse Flash working for Hydra?
For class, I'm supposed to write an essay about a show or movie and analyze the characters in it using different models of psychology. First thing I need to do is choose a topic. What do you think would be a good subject for it, or what might you be most interested in talking about in greater or more analytical detail? I have a few ideas, but nothing set in stone. I'll go into more detail later if anyone is interested. It doesn't have to be a cartoon, if you can think of a good one that isn't.
>>83632582
Hunchback of Notre Dam perhaps? Frollo will probably give you a good chunk to write about
>>83632659
It can be about multiple characters, as long as they fit the model. One of the ones I had in mind was Zootopia, but I'm wondering if people would be able to help with that.

That old loony tunes cartoon where daffy kills Hitler with a giant wooden mallet
>Bobby shows interest in a lucrative business that will make him a lot of money
>Hank tries anything to get him out of it because "ew poop lol"
>In the end, Hank ends up having to trick Bobby into thinking his life will be in danger in order to make him quit
>the show presents this as reasonable
The later seasons really sucked
Least they bonded over grilling, rite?
Bobby was in it for the money, if he continued down that path he would live a hollow, joyless life.

Who is the best comedy writer in today's comics?
My vote goes to Neal Adams. Even the way lettering cases are poisitoned is fucking genius. Judging by his intervews I'm 90% certain everything IS calculated and intentional (the rest is him genuinely preaching the Earth is hollow but that just adds to the experience)
Nick spencer.
Between the fix and superior foes I've yet to read anyone who makes me laugh as much.
Spurrier

Seconding Adams
the last issue of Coming of the Supermen was fucking gold.
Where are his blue arms?
>>83632391DON'T CALL ANYBODY
GOTTA GO FAST
>>83632391
Can someone photoshop his arms blue, so we can send it to chris and claim legos making the blue armed sonic?
Is it really that bad?
It was extremely painful
>>83632383
I love how everyone claims these movies were a grounded, realistic' approach to Batman when two of the three movies devolve very quickly into Batman and Robin-esque comic book schlock.
Not even remotely, it was just kind of dumb, heavy on the plotholes, and ruined Bane by having him be a henchman for a far less interesting villain. Scottish Darth Vader with inexplicable motivations was way more interesting than Talia "muh father" al Ghul.
Why isn't there more depictions of cute moe girls with super heroes?
>Poison Ivy
>Superhero
>That random black chick
>Literally who?
>>83632180
Isn't this a show for 5 year olds or something?
I get that we're all about cartoons here, but even this seems like a bit much.
>>83632180
There are plenty. It's called the magical girl genre. Go watch Nanoha or something.
What are some good books about sex? Maybe books where sex is such of a subliminal theme?
Wonder Woman: Earth One
Paying For It, by Chester Brown

Sunstone is something I like.
Can anyone give me the skinny on empowered?
Does it do anything interesting?
From what I've heard it's like Captain Marvel with a slice of cheesecake.
the world it makes is great, with some really compelling character arcs.
the whole thing is slowed down immensely by huge portions of random cheesecake fluff, and by characters occasionally just talking.
Worth binge reading, but each volume moves the story forwards so slowly it can be frustrating.
Most of us started reading it for the fap material, as we were genuinely surprised that the characters are really likeable and the story really interesting. You almost feel guilty for fapping to emp.
>>83631848
>>83631866
Thanks guys, I'll go binge it now.
Hi /tg/, advise me on series with good size changing content, also outside Marvel/DC line.
Give Cassie Lang her own book

Yes, this is /co/.
