Is the "kuh-razy 100-casualties-per-episode" violence in shows like Superjail and Mr Pickles actually funny? I know humor is subjective but is there really that big of a fanbase for shock humor that it can thrive the way it does?
Newer Family Guy gets shit on all the time for resorting to shock humor every so often, but why do the Adult Swim shows get a free pass?
>>83655035
It's more for the appeal to see how people die and how fast in succession it happens
>>83655035
Superjail actually had some pretty neat ways to mass murder people.
>>83655132
Superjail had 1 story per episode, and yeah unique ways to die before they respawn next episode. Fun show in a weird way.
Willy Wonky gone as homicidal as possible.
So... bad art thread? Hard mode: No Liefeld
I'm not invested in looking up any random panel, but that Silver Surfer comic with the hipster chick makes my stomach hurt to look at.
Dillonfags WILL say this has good layout and realistic posing
>>83654816
This is good art. It shows the plastic face and hateful rictus grin of the lieberal.
>knows Marinette's crush and Cat Noir are the same person
>keeps this knowledge to herself for no raisin
>>83654667
I don't think she knows though. Just that cat noir also uses a miraculous.

I wanna cum right onto that black spot on her forehead.

>What is this storytime series all about?
Everyday for the month of June 2016 (the rare 616 Month), commemorating the 55th anniversary of Marvel Comics, I storytime certain old Earth-616 Marvel Comics issues on their anniversary/if there's pottery when their respective release dates and volume & issue numbers align. Watch out for the appearances of the numbers 6, 1, and 6, in that order.
>For what purpose?

Would /co/ read a comic about a couple who turn to heroism to get in to shape?
>>83654465
Might be cute.
>>83654465
Putting yourself into life or death situations to get in shape sounds like a good way to get yourself killed and innocent people hurt.
Maybe to stay in shape but not to.
>Be me
>12 year old brother asks me why Rick does what he does
>I try to explain the development of Rick's character
>In the end I point him to this video

>Brother has an existential crisis
>Spend the next couple of hours trying to calm him the fuck down/explain existentialism and nihilism.
>Finally calms down.
So anyone got a story of a cartoon leading to deep, sometimes uncomfortable discussions with their families/friends/strangers?
Haha. I can't tell if you're a bad big brother or a great one.
>>83654359
had to explain to my older brother why rick had that ending in auto erotic assimilation when Ricks character is mostly a fun type of asshole and not a suicidal old man.
Also had to explain the beginning of Up to my younger cousin who didn;t quite understand the concept of a miscarriage, she then asked me why they would put something so sad in a movie and how come that happened to his wife when they seemed liked good people. She was 5, I didnt have the heart to tell her thats how life is, so I just left the room.

STARCO IS CUTE AND PERFECT!CUTE AND PERFECT!
IT's FRIDAY!
Any official news or new material?
I'm hoping for another commercial or something.
there's no OTP but starco, knowing this, who dares to be against it?
Do you guys pronounce it like "Six One Six" or "Six Hundred and Sixteen" or "Six Sixteen" or what. All of my friends and I call it "Six One Six," but it occurs to me that there's no reason why this ought to be universal or even commonplace. What's your habit on this topic?
>>83654015
I refer to it as the Marvel Universe...
>>83654040
Fuck off, Brevoort.
It's "six one six" for the same reason a credit card number is like "one two three four, five six seven eight, nine zero one two, three four five six" and not "one quadrillion, two-hundred thirty-four trillion, five-hundred sixty-seven billion, eight-hundred ninety million, one-hundred twenty-three thousand, four-hundred fifty-six".
I don't know how I feel about this franchise anymore
>>83653996
what append to da caveman
That thing is fucking disgusting Does Tyson have outstanding gambling debts or an estranged illegitimate child to keep quiet? How else could he be okay with accepting that role?

No Magneto! I let you win before in order to learn your plan to trap you.
But now the victory belongs to the fantastic four!
ITT: Comics characters who originally had shitty, generic costumes before gaining their iconic looks
The obvious is Batman but there's probably some contrarian who thinks otherwise.
So I just finished this series. Does Marvel ever do anything else with the characters?
Really good read but it just feels like it's going to age horribly.
>>83653860
Beetle appears in Astonishing Ant-Man, don't remember where that went.
Boomerang appears in Squirrel Girl as a date, apparently, I don't read it.
>>83653860
Agreed. The hey look fight club reference was already border line when it came out.
