Why do you prefer cartoons to anime?
Because every anime I watched has been formulaic garbage full of the same grab-bag of tropes. The long-winded dialogue is cringey in any language and most anime has a samey artstyle.
I can appreciate a good shounen but when 90% of them just consist of teenage boys voiced by girls whose greatest ability is to punch things really fast, it gets stale quickly.
I know this was a bait thread but I like giving my opinion.
I want to bury my head in those thick thighs and ass
Why'd they introduce him just to kill him off?
Was it a "Fuck You" to FOX and their rights to the X-Men movies?
>Was it a "Fuck You" to FOX and their rights to the X-Men movies?
No, it was because Wheadon wanted to kill someone off because he's aware of his reputation. They actually filmed an ending with Pietro alive incase Marvel didn't let Joss kill him off.
Killing off Quickslav actually makes it easier for Fox. Now they get to use the character without casual getting confused more than they already may be.
Fox has Pietro, Marvel has Wanda.
If it was a "fuck you" it was directed at people who care about Quicksilver. It felt more like "Welp, we've gotta put Quicksilver in an Avengers movie, but we don't want to share a character with Fox, so we'll just halfass it and kill him off"
Okay, what should I read, what should I add to the pile?
I've read Sandman, it was okay. I don't get the hype. I kind of want to re-read the recolored versions to see if it clicks.
I'm reading Lucifer. It's okay, I still don't get the hype.
I've read the Unwritten, which I loved.
I've got Fables handy.
I've read Preacher, which was surprisingly good even though I dislike goofball over the top stuff.
I'm thinking about Books of Magic. But where do I stop? It has like three continuations not...

Forgot to add. I'm not strictly talking Vertigo, but other complete comics in somewhat similar veins.
(I've read the shit out of Hellboy btw, I don't think it's too much like the stuff I'm talking about, although I suspect somebody will.)
>I don't like Grant Morrison. (Granted, due to his later 2000's main line DC work. Is this older stuff not so up its own ass? Are there actual characters?)
Saged, reported, hidden, called the cops, called the Fire Department, called Pizza Hut, called the USN, called Ghostbusters, called the Royal Navy, called the Red Army, called the FBI. called the CIA, called Interpol, called the KGB, called the USMC, called the USAF, called the Royal Air force, called MI 6, called...

There's anyone more pathetic than Lex?
What other villians are pathetic beyond their supervillian lifes?
I take it back. Your tumblr bullshit was just fine, jesus it was more than fine it was very good. It was a masterpiece. Please get back to that. Please.
>Rock Titan = Earth.
>Ice Titan = Water.
>Lava Titan = Fire.
>Tornado Titan = Air.
What element did the Cyclops represent?
I'm looking for some good superhero shows to watch. Anybody have any opinions of this one?
Because he's overused in everything. People seem to forget that he was never meant to be a starring character in X-men. His popularity caused him to be undeservedly shoehorned into leading roles. And thus, made him cease to be an interesting character. Wolverine hasn't been handled well as far as cartoons and film goes since X-men Evo.
Greg Capullo appreciation thread!
Why did he turn Black Mask into a gimp?
What does /co/ think of Saga?
has anyone here read the ghostbusters comics? I'm considering the ghostbusters humble bundle, What are your opinions on the ghostbusters comics? are they readable without having seen the animated series?
I'd say the comics are pretty good and worth the time to read. They're more based on the movies than the cartoons though.
Nobody else hyped for the sneak peak at E3 today? What are your expectations? Do you want more story choices? Are you team boat man or team Jane?
S2 was a huge letdown, don't really care at this point. I'll probably buy it when it goes on sale for $5 or something. I haven't tried Michonne yet either.
And I'm team fuck both of them.
The new Batman game looks straight up gorgeous but I'm only mildly interested in it
From the castlist, it sounds like it's just going to be a Falcone/Catwoman story, which is fucking lame.
Am I the only one that finds the lady in this new Pop-Tarts commercial incredibly sexy?
>Aside from batman, DC films, games and tv series are terrible compared to their marvel counterparts
Is this true for comics too?
Woahhhh, slow your roll their bud. Maybe from what's airing on TV today, but over time? Oh no sir.
And comics are such a mixed bag. So many series seem to be so okay that they counteract the shitty ones into an equilibrium of meh
Superman 1 and 2 are better than the X-men and spiderman films.
DC goddamn owns TV. even if you don't like CW shows, the fucking DCAU is lightyears ahead of any marvel equivalent.
There have only been 2 genuinely good comic book video games: Spider-man 2 and Comix Zone for the Sega Genesis. Anyone who says otherwise is trying to sell you something.
How well does it work out?
How do you fit Rurouni Kenshin - Trust X Betrayal into a Spider-Man 6-issue story?
Been done already, and we all know how well that worked out.
