Will Venom and Spiderman ever bury the hatchet and be friends? Also, symbiote thread
>>83725834
When Flash comes back to Earth with a detox'd Venom.
They'll launch a team up book.
It will be glorious for 12 issues, then get cancelled despite huge sales because fuck the readers, right?
>>83725834
>I don't read comics the thread
No, because Peter put the symbiote in the foe-zone. Peter will never love it like it loves Peter. Even though it claims to love Eddie now, even if the three of them tried to be friends, there'd be that sexual tension with the symbiote obviously wanting to get it on with Peter, Eddie being oblivious to this and thinking things are just fine between him and the symbiote, and the intense discomfort Peter would feel with knowing what's really going on between the two.
Just a reminder of what memeing can do
Anyway, what do you expect?
>>83725821
>Dreamworks actually plans to make it.
>>83725821
something something ogre.
>>83725821
not surprised. It will make money.
Pretty good series. I want to hear your thoughts/opinions on it

Too dark for /co/?
>>83728911
>>83725669
No, just too pleb and too shit
>>83725669
It sure was there.
I didn't really care for it or hate or like it, it was just there.
The Army of Darkness crossover was decent. I liked that Doom had the Marvel universe's version of the Necronomicon just sitting around.
>Oh /co/!!!
>I'm respecting your privacy by knocking but asserting my authority as your father by coming in anyway~!
Post what you think he sees after barging in.
A shit thread
Chip Skylark singing about pumpkins.
The painful realization that this episode hasn't aired stateside in over half a decade, maybe a decade.
What did /co/ think? What was the point of the Rastafari god?
>>83724992
To tell stoners can't into science.
LOL
>>83725257
Ironically rastas hate stoners, as they smoke just to get high.
>>83724992
>What did /co/ think?
Entertaining garbage.
/co/, what are your thoughts on Blade?
I just watched it again for the first time in like 10 years, and I was surprised at howgood it holds up.
Deacon Frost is the greatest Marvel villain of all time
Literally THE BEST
>>83724701
Pretty good has a lot of flaws.
wesley snipes as balde was just perfect.
>>83724701
This and Blade 2 are comic book movie perfection.
Anything else like this? Self-contained graphic novels that focus on drama and fucked-up imagery?
Have you read Simmon's other narrative driven stuff? Like House and Jessica's Farm. He also has short story books like Habit and The Furry Trap
>>83724492
I haven't yet, but i definitely will.
>>83724492
Furry Trap was some sick shit
>My name is Wally West. I'm the fastest man alive.

Is there anything powergirl's tits can't do?
Make her relevant.
>>83723949
Be real.
>>83723949
Make her a interesting character
I'm trying to get into Dorkin's Milk & Cheese, but I can't still find a strip that sells me the whole humor. The art looks good, the main characters have this certain visual charm that makes you want to have a vinyl figure or a poster of them in your room....but like said, I'm still iffy with the "random mayhem" strip jokes, if that's a proper term to call it. They reminded me slightly of the Mooninites from ATHF, and those two are indeed funny.
For the anons who grew up reading it in the 80s/90s: Did the humor aged well? Or is this...

Back when they first came out it was a breath of fresh air for those of us who only had an LCS that stocked the big two.
I've not read my floppies in a LONG time. Maybe if I had a six pack and was bored.
SCUD, Poison Elves and Milk & Cheese.
>Cameo in Hack/Slash
Didn't expect that at all.
>>83723710
I just don't like how wordy it was, Dorkin just crams dialogue in every page to the point where it becomes a chore. It sucks especially when you don't find a certain strip funny.
So I finally got to reading Sandman, and there's something I don't quite get. I figured it's set in Vertigo universe, so I wasn't surprised to see Constantine, but What is Batman and Justice League doing there? I thought Vertigo and DC Universe were separate before Flashpoint?
They made one appearance, IIRC. They're not used ever again.
And that was when Vertigo was literally just the UK branch of DC. It wasn't until ~'93 that it became its own imprint, separate from the DCU.
>>83723600
Thanks
>>83723600
And even after that, some of the books still aren't separate from the main DC line, just independent.
Anything written by Gaiman applies, as far as I'm aware, and it would seem odd that Animal Man weren't still in universe with Batman even after it became a Vertigo title.
You just have to play it by ear with each title.
the current state of the marvel universe, these are the alignments, agree or disagree?
Jesus fucking Christ.
They are all shit.
>>83723489
Did you just throw those into the spaces at random?
Did Futurama ever introduce any other characters based on celebrity chefs besides Emeril? Gordon Ramsay or Guy Fieri, for example?
Bender's mentor in "30% Iron Chef" was based on Wolfgang Puck.
Guy Fieri is a food critic, not a chef.
>>83722715
Why would they need to?
BvS is disliked for the same reason casuals dislike Final Crisis.
>>83722667
Its an incoherant mess that cuts around everywhere with the final villain coming from nowhere and is big and epic but actally did diddly squat?
>>83722729
yes
And it's glorious.
>>83722667
I'm sorry I didn't realize BvS was a surreal metafictional romp with a nearly incomprehensible but also kind of clever story that dealt with event comics and the never ending nature of comic stories while also attempting to provide a dignified end for Kirby's beloved Fourth World so they won't have to be co scantly misused anymore, and that it ultimately fell short of its lofty goals while still being enjoyable and somewhat heartwarming despite it's unrelenting violence. I will recalibrate...
