So this is all just a big ratings trap used to make fun of fans of the old shows again, right?
Say uncle was better pham
Some episodes of TTG are brilliant, and others are terrible, without much in the middle. So far, all episodes of neopuff have been pure terrible. What do we know about who wrote it? Any chance they found someone that actually saw the old PPG series? /co/ has long thought it would be amusing to see PowerPuff uber-violence in a DC setting, but this seems potentially like the ultimate monkey's paw of that idea. Will Raven mock Bubbles by using the real Bubbles voice?
How different would Cap be if he instead was created during ww1

Probably be an Irish immigrant instead of a child of Irish immigrants.

Also probably not as patriotic.
Maybe more religious? It's up in the air if he's more, less, or not at all after the war. Some people had mixed thoughts

>Some people had mixed thoughts
Bent double, like old beggars under sacks,
Knock-kneed, coughing like hags, we cursed through sludge,
Till on the haunting flares we turned our backs
And towards our distant rest began to trudge.
Men marched asleep. Many had lost their boots
But limped on, blood-shod. All went lame; all blind;
Drunk with fatigue; deaf even to the hoots
Of tired, outstripped Five-Nines that dropped behind.
Gas! Gas! Quick, boys!—An ecstasy...

Have we ever had a henchmen thread? I started reading the Sonic Archie comics again and looked into some of the Henchmen that Robotnik's had over the years and how they've changed in every type of media they're in.
Obviously they're under appreciated and some of them are actually based as fuck, or just plain funny. I guess I'll start by dumping some pictures of henchmen I can remember off the top of my head, along with fan art and cosplays. Feel free to talk about your favorites. And dump some of you pictures as well. This thread can only lead...

Now, I know what you're thinking Anons.
>"These Deadly Hands of Kung Fu stories are pretty good, but weren't you doing a Power Man and Iron Fist storytime? What does this series have to do with them?"
WELL LOOK WHO'S FINALLY SHOWED UP!

Since I have the day off today, and I missed yesterday, let's try and catch up on what we SHOULD'VE done yesterday if my modem didn't decide to stop working, shall we?
>Steel Serpent
No, this isn't Davos. For some reason, there's just another dude called the Steel Serpent in Marvel, completely unrelated to the other one.
This makes the Warlock situation seem normal.
so kirby designs spiderman (pic related_
>gets rejected
steve ditko designs spiderman
>instant success
so why did ditko leave marvel and steal the original design kirby made for spiderman and use it on the blue beetle?
because look at that
thats the fucking blue beetle (ted kord)
That's a fan edit, you nincompoop.

Frank Miller is finally telling the story of why TDKR Batman retired.
And it comes out tomorrow.
Why is no one talking about this?
He literally just did a sequel, the hype is gone
We've known since DKSA that anything Miller writes from here on won't live up to DKR in people's heads
>>83744116
Miller is dead.
>>83744137
Dark Knight III is OK.

And yet Moore post-ABC is even worse.
Behold, the Second Animation Renaissance
>>83743869
Oh really? Because all I see is overrated tripe that panders to a specific group of people instead of all audiences like a good cartoon should.
>>83743933
>like a good cartoon should
Can you tell me where it is written the rules that say that a cartoon should appeal to everyone and every public always? Who wrotte it?
>>83743999
No one wrote it. It's an unwritten rule of animation. Appealing to a certain demographic just because it's huge doesn't work to a show's advantage because it increases the odds of it becoming very dated
Hey, /co/. I've been reading digis and I'm thinking about getting some printed editions soon for shelf cred and general self respect
Are the hardcover "Master" editions worth it? I'm told there's not that much extra content in those; I don't even know if the TPB extra content is in there (sketches, some process on the artwork, and that kind of stuff IIRC) Any recommendations?
Also, discuss this series maybe? I don't really remember that many threads about it
>>83743821
>getting some printed editions soon for shelf cred and general self respect
Don't fall for that meme m8, you still will be empty inside.
>>83743821
There havent been many locke and key threads but i do love the comic.
Joe hill is one of my favorite writers his novels are pretty good i actually think hes better than stephen king. If you have netflix watch horns its based on his book. On a related note has anyone read the wraith comic? It doesnt get any love on here and i loved nos4a2.

What kind of fucking Irishman is Ennis? Jesus I almost threw up in my mouth
>>83743774
Stay mad that your heroes fucked off to teach mudslimes how to blow themselves up.
Also, ow the edge from that character design. It's hit the point that seeing minor, detailed wounds actually bothers me more than seeing MUH GORE everywhere.

>foreign country occupies your lands

A Northern-Irishman. An Atheist one at that.
Was Amethyst originally supposed to have some connection to animals/nature?
Every single one of the OG designs was better

Neo-Kosmos is a Steven Universe/Homestuck rip-off by Amber Rogers and Shelby Cragg and it's the most "tumblr" webcomic I've ever read.
>>83743555
>the cringiest webcomic on earth
That's a pretty fucking tall claim, OP.
>>83743555
>Steven Universe Ripoff
I'm no fan but the artist is an actual storyboard artist for SU, which is probably why the art looks similar
The Homestuck style presentation does the comic no favors though, since there's no reader interaction and it just makes the whole thing a chore to read through
>>83743555
I like it.
Just imagine they're all white and use "correct" pronouns if REALLY that's a problem for you... the plot will not be changed at all.
>Havent read the comic book yet Edition
>>83743548
This episode felt slow. I get that they're kinda trying to do the Salvation arc early, but it doesn't really make sense for the point in Jesse's character arc we're at now.
Are those "government agents" angels?
>>83743800
Yes.
Could The Joker beat Dr Rockso the Rock and Roll Clown?
Nah, he does cocain
>>83743359
He survives being in proximity to Dethklok. He is like a cockroach
I can just imagine him being a recurring henchmen that the Joker never remembers but often tries to henchman-kill, only for him to show up later
>>83743359
the real question is would Dr Rockso rape the Joker
