Hey /co/, i was just playing arkham knight with this cool ass red hood costume, but it literally occurred to me i know nothing about this guy. is there any recommended reading list you guys could suggest, also, what's your opinion on him /co/?
>Death in the Family (optional, just be aware that Jaosn was the second Robin and he got beat to death by the Joker)
>Under the Red Hood (movie is better)
>Red Hood: Lost Days
That is it
you know, I'm sick of male characters and female characters being forced into a relationship if they even share a bit of screen time with each other. This movie made me happy they could finally have a male and female be best friends without fucking.
Oh yeah, you guys and Byron want to ruin that..
It's our biological function to have our minds wired to focus on anything that leads to the eventual action of reproduction, even with a simple spark of shipping characters, where it only grows from there.
What makes a female character good? What traits should and shouldn't she have?
Which comics did it right?
I dunno, but does anyone have any idea if this book is dead or not? because its been quite a long time since the last issue.
fuck, Walter Simonson puts out an issue of Ragnarok quicker.. (theres actually a good chance thats not true. kek)
Multi-dimensional. Having experience with actual women and their lives so you're not just guessing how a woman would react. Knowing that they can be human too but at the same time face different pratfalls than men so you can't just write a genderless man in her place
What shows should he do next?
He's not showrunning anything in the future. Just writing some episoes of Shimmer and Shine and writing a World of Warcraft YA novel.
He was gonna do a show last year, but it got cancelled.
so why characters in the big 2 comics don't have special attacks or signature moves? you know like in wrestling or video games.
NO BATWOMAN NO BUY.
>doctor doom,magneto and kingpin mourning 9/11
ITT: Instances in comics where the actions were really out of character
Like Dr Doom has never attempted mass destruction before
Great superman origin or greatest?
No. That's the most boring, predictable, pandering and outdated Superman origin. It reads like a bed time story that nobody needed to hear again. The Donner movies still exist, you know.
Am I crazy or was there a scene from evangelion with the exact same shot angle and pose?
Question: Who here thinks corporate synergy is bad, and is putting a stranglehold on comic book writers, keeping them from writing good stories for the sake of profit?
Show of hands NOW!
Is synergy being forced upon writers or are writers such hacks that they include things from adaptions because they haven't read old runs? I mean look at black Wally, apparently they did that on their own.

WELCOME... TO THE SCHOOL STORE!
Also in less exciting news, I've got some life and freelance work responsibilities that are going to eat up the rest of my week, so there will be some art put up instead of a page this Friday! Nothing fancy, but something to check back for! In the meantime, I'll get to stay on schedule and work ahead a little on the next updates. Thanks for your patience! See you next time! :^)
>next time on paranatural: ollie oop straight up murders a dude
>King: Duke’s story will be told in All-Star Batman for the first year. As far as in Batman goes, my conception of Duke is going to be like Tim in Tim’s first year. He’s going to be in the cave, training, not going to be on the street with Batman. Batman’s book will be about Batman the character and his relationship with Alfred and Gordon.
New interview with King:
Your thought on the pilot /co/?
It's about 2 geeky girls that work on a DVD store and they can Time Travel n shit
Which alter ego was Hank Pym's best?
Which was his worst?
And how do the other Ant-Men, Giant-Men, Yellowjackets, Wasps and Goliaths compare to him?
Science Adventurer Hank Pym.
Worst in terms of ruining his entire life? Yellowjacket. Worst in terms of costume? Goliath.
Scott was and is a decent Ant Man, whether he's a comical loser trying to get his shit together, with it superhero or actual discoverer of how Pym Particles actually work. Irredeemable Ant Man was quite literally an irredeemable human being, it's right there in his name. About the best thing he ever did was leaving a woman to raise their son on her own, because if he stuck around things would only get worse.
Black Goliath was a solid character and scientist who existed for thirty years before he was killed off pointlessly in Civil War. His nephew was kind of shitty. New Wasp is just kind of there. Hank himself was the best Wasp, this is indisputable.
