I like how this cartoon has such a relaxed feel. It's like Adventure Time with less tryhard hipsterness and more innocence.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kpD_IRCfgI0
The theme is so calm and has more of a melody than Adventure Time's. It seems like everyone who calls this a rip off has not actually watched the series because it does stand pretty far from Adventure Time. It's pretty original actually. I would say it was influenced by the show, it didn't rip it off.
>>84022669
it's what adventure time could and should have been
>>84022540
it is a sweet little cartoon. i love it.
>>84022669
ehh.. it's not plagiarism but it is still a knockoff. nothing wrong with that though. not automatically, and CERTAINLY not in this case.
i like it because i can't get enough adventure time so i'm more than happy to watch an alternate chinese version with all of the appeal.
it's also funny the subtle ways it differs. like, lucky is definitely the older brother in a traditional asian...

get out your tinfoil ladies and gents
i've been pretty tired of "theories" explaining nothing, and instead pointing out obvious metaphor (ROY = MEDIA) that I don't necessarily even agree with. here are my personal thoughts.
bear with me here. this one's a multi-parter:
Assumptions I'm allowing myself:
In the DHMIS universe:
>Time is not linear, to the point of near meaninglessness
Evidence:
>June 19th ad nauseum
>clock...

So, here are the (admittedly flimsy) conclusions I'm allowing myself to draw from those assumptions
>In DHMIS, passing between layers of reality is possible, and usually achieved through some form of torture
DHMIS2 having taken place inside a television show, DHMIS4 red stumbling onto the "set" "kills" him and brings him to the next layer of reality, where he calls Duck in DHMIS5, bringing him (duck) to the next layer of reality, where he (duck)...

>Red's "reality" in DHMIS6 is not "true reality"
This harkens to my theory of reality being multi-layered and fluid. When Red "wakes" in 6, I postulate that this "awake" world is another dream or subreality. Let's argue by counterpoint: if Red's office reality IS reality, why does pulling the plug on the machine plunge them back into their kitchen? Red seeing Roy, his microphone and boom-box turning into a puppet, and the...

What if Phineas and Ferb came out in 1995 on Nickelodeon like it was supposed to?
>>84022176
I'd imagine Phineas would keep his sarcastic personality from the early episodes and there wouldn't be a song every episode.
>>84022176
I think it wouldn't have been as accepted.
PnF's episodes were VERY formulaic. Moreso than any other cartoon's to my knowledge.
Nowadays it's ok because people have lower expectations/wants/desires/whatever, but back then I think it'd just be annoying to watch the same episode over and over again.
>>84022176
It would've had Irving instead of Baljeetthe 3 bugs guys from late in the show's run would've been present
Holy shit, guess who's coming back again?
>In the tradition of the original Hard-Traveling Heroes, Green Lantern and Green Arrow, Sixpack and Dogwelder are ready to bring their allegedly socially aware brand of justice to the lands beyond Gotham City!
>After the events of ALL-STAR SECTION EIGHT, Sixpack is fighting to keep what’s left of his team together. Dogwelder has gone in search of his past, while newlyweds Bueno Excellente and Guts are dealing with some fidelity issues. Could Section Eight be done...

This post is like one of those generic country music songs.
You don't even need coherent lines, as long as you mention trucks and Jesus.
What does /co/ think of Stan Lee's non-Marvel work?
never forget
>>84021627
stripperella was clever as fuck. i'll never understand the hate it gets. It was totally aware of what it was at every moment, and reveled in it.
most of the other recent-year stan lee stuff has just been painfully generic. i only recall two: a depressed and depressing hispanic dude with power armor, who was also a skateboarder i guess? and... uhhh a hero team of aliens crashed on earth who had to just deal with it.. but it felt NOTHING like it should have, which is a biker mice / mummies alive situation

I'm never going to forget how gay it was.
The silhouette test: the true secret to good character design or animation meme used to promote Disney products?
Character silhouette's are fucking useless for animation dipshit.
>>84021186
I don't know, I can tell all of these characters Disney or not. And I'm kind of thinking popularity of the character kind of has something to do with that.
I think a better example would be the silhouettes of similar types of characters and then see if they're still as distinctive.

Who is second row last column?
As >>84018991 this retard brought up, however incorrect he may be, its an interesting point.
While it wont happen SOON, for a lot of /co/ related characters (ESPECIALLY DC properties), who's creators are long since deceased (Bill Finger & Bob Kane, Siegel & Shuster, etc.) will, at some point in our some of our lifetimes (hopefully, anyway), fall into the public domain per US copyright law.
Lets use Batman and Superman as two examples:
Bob Kane died: Nov 3rd, 1998
Bill Finger...

There's really nothing they could do that they couldn't already do now with a parody character.
marvel is safe because stan lee is an immortal vampire

Except the part where DC/Marvel own the copyrights not the creators per the contracts they all signed in order to get published...

doesn't seem like it. she's turning to run after him in the last panel, and all he did was drop through the floor and use his momentum to go fast.

honestly my main question of the video is why the fuck the mom had no problem with her kid going off with some dude it's like she wanted to get him murdered because she already had so many kids...waaaiiittttt
>>84021914
the man probably offered her more money than she'd ever seen considering she was making crack or something on the street. As sad as it seems, it's either selling one of your kids or letting your entire family die.
