oh man, that edit is great
>tfw most comic book fans don't care about the medium they're reading and just want to read about their favorite generic caped buffoons fighting each other
In fairness, that's true of fans of most mediums.
#NotAllComicFans

Wouldn't that mean they're genre fans not fans of the medium.
So, how many of you are going to do this when Korra's final book ends?

Also ask again if we're still keeping a fanfic pastebin or if it's just being posted to FF or the like.
>How many episodes are there going to be in season two?
>Twenty-one or 22; I’m not sure. Disney has the answers to that better than I do. I’m so deep in production I can only focus on the next meeting, but there are as many as season one, maybe one or two more. I can’t recall the exact number. We’re excited to be coming back, we hope that our fans will enjoy all the strange twists and turns that the story takes and we’re excited like everyone to be back.

This was a disappointment.Drago had no character. He was just some random evil person.
Killing Stoick wasn't necessary either. They;d killed the wildebeast, stolen their dragons and were about to enslave Berk. What extra motivation did killing Stoick add?

>What extra motivation did killing Stoick add?
HTTYD series is about a boys growth into manhood.
His father's death is there to serve as a catalyst, a final push into adulthood.
>>64699611
this.
The series is pretty clearly an extended coming of age arc, one which looks like it will go further than the usual ones (which tend to stop the moment the character accepts adulthood, rarely exploring what comes after)
>>64699642
I hope 3 will feature Hiccup and Astrid having children.
Not so much because I'm a shipper, but more because it would be the final step on the journey.
FACT: Asami
>>64689877
is best character? You're goddamn right, OP.
I laughed my ass off when Bolin and Mako's grandma mistook Asami for the Avatar
How drastically different would Legend of Korra be if Asami was the avatar and Korra was the non bending multi billionaire?
>>64690264
No, Asami is the avatar AND a mulit billionaire. Korra's just some water tribe bitch
Gunn humor:
>She has no idea. If I had a blacklight, this place would look like a Jackson Pollock painting.
>That dude there. I need his prosthetic leg.
>Well I wasn't listening then, I was thinking about something else.
Whedon humor:
>I don't see how that's a party
>.....he's adopted.
>Puny God
>>64710883
Hey, both that adopted line and the puny god line where funny as shit. The party line is terrible though. And overall GoTG was way funnier
I really dislike Whedon's humor. It takes you out of the scene with it's awkwardness.
>>64710883
I can't tell what you're trying to argue here. Different writers have different senses of humor?
I fucking love Power Girl
>>64577883
why?
"Well, hello there, little boy! Don't be shy!"
>>64595034
If that's not Technodrome, I don't know what it is.
Please pass the egg salad.

Monter High/Ever After high thread?
how many times does Red take the knot?
Yet another show I have to keep away from nieces lest they think it socially acceptable to dress like skanks with piles of make-up on.
>>64542196
You could of stopped it with Barbies
Its all your fault
>>64542196
>my daughteru.
>a skank.
Fuck you, buddy.
What's the worst "good" cartoon you ever seen in your life?
Your favorite cartoon.
Transformers Prime.
Do you mean worst as in something that's considered good by a lot of people but you personally consider bad?
Do Arnold fans seriously think Nick will do anything related to the series again? It's been dead for over 10 years and the main demographic probably has never seen an episode. We'll never get The Patakis, the second movie, or a novelization.
We are living in the age of Nostalgia OP. I have been hearing about a Might Morphing Power Rangers movie, who knows what will be up to be rebooted, continued, made into a movie or just ruined out right.
>>64600058
>It's been dead for over 10 years
Jeez, What series have been dead for a decade and return to cartoon network. OH RIGHT! Thunder cats
Or maybe avatar... If you talk about nick.
>>64600058
Maybe, as >>64601360 said companies are marketing nostalgia up the ass, however I highly doubt that if it did come back it would be able to survive with the same premise and tone.
What kids want now is Regular Show, Adventure Time, Sanjay and Craig, Breadwinners, etc. They want shows with lots of strange words, random humor, stupid catchphrases they can repeat at school, and annoyingly quirky characters. Hey Arnold is a show about a kid growing up in the Bronx(or...

Am I the only one who got super choked up when hearing the news that Robin Williams died? I can't think of another kid-friendly actor/comedian, at least of his caliber, who was in so many great kid-friendly movies when I was growing up in the 90s.
>Jumanji
>Mrs. Doubtfire
>Flubber
>Hook
>Alladdin

These were all literally my favorite movies as a kid, and Robin...

IT'S FLUBBER!
Alladin was alright but jumanji, hook and flubber were shit
>>64581160
>jumanji, hook and flubber were shit
No they weren't.
At the very least they were great movies for kids.
What do you think about Duckman?
What the hell are you starring at?
He seemed pretty cool in Guardians of the Galaxy.
i think i just jerked to it as a kid before my cable box could pick up the porn channels
>Two weeks later
>$320,000,000
Anyone worried?
>>64593533
It has already more than doubled its production budget. Why would anyone be worried about anything?
>>64593602
Advertising. Remember Amazing 2?
>>64593667
Unless the advertising was over 150 million. It's made that back too.
