Prison Dad = Zoom
Yeah, the latest episode all but confirmed it....unless that's what they want us to think.
My theory is that Zoom (Henry Allen) is just trying to make his son a better Speedster by pushing him to the limit of his abilities so that he'll eventually have to go beyond them to defeat Zoom. That, or if the writers are misleading us on purpose (which is another very good possibility), then it's probably Eddie. Regardless, this is Eobard's doing.
Is it just me or has Gold Digger been kinda shitting the bed over the past few months?
And this cover pisses me off, I saw it ages ago as a preview for some upcoming issue, but the synopsis matched to it was far more interesting than what we got.
DC Superhero Girls has a new episode out.
Fall into Super Hero High. This episode is kinda funny. We see more of CatWoman and Killer Frost a little bit in this episode and it's longer than the episodes.
What went wrong?
My home world was destroyed, my parents are dead, and I have to live with the stigma of being ostracized everyday by the very people I call family. I'm not sure what it is to be human... But I'm learning slowly.
I've retired /ci/ and I've got all the free time in the world on my hands, so I've decided to distract myself from my depressing life by getting back into comics.
What do you recommend I read? Pic related, I've got the essential Batman's like Hush, Long Halloween, Life after Death and year one.

How can one man be so based?
Draw me like one of your French comic girls...
(Seriously, tho...what is it that makes the character design from Europe so damn appealing? And how can I harness its power as an artist?)
Who are DC's smartest scientists? Who's the best at hacking, the best at AI, the best at robotics, the best weapons technology, etc.?
Dr. Will Magnus
Dr. Niles Caulder
Among others. The DCU has a shitload of mad scientists. Hell, even Luthor was originally a mad scientist before he got rewritten as an evil politician/businessman. He's still one of the smartest people on the planet. Mr. Terrific also is supposedly the third smartest person, having multiple doctorates in various scientific fields along with Olympic track-and-field gold medals.
I know Ren and Stimpy is famous for pushing the boundaries of what's acceptable in a kids cartoon, but this was a little much
I was just watching an episode of Ren and Stimpy on that TeeNick, that so 90's segment or whatever.
It was Season 3 Episode 7. At the end of the episode was one of those cartoon commercials like LOG or Powdered Toast Man. It's a father and Daughter eating their breakfast.
The Daughter says "Daddy, can you play with me?" To which he responds
To which he responds "haha oh sweety, I'm busy eating my Beef Tallow. Why Don't you play with your Lucky Chodes"
I know it was simple to get away with a lot more back then, but I think using the word Chode is a little much. Does Chode mean something else that I'm not aware of? Was it a word that hardly anyone knew back then? The show was released the year I was born, so when I used to watch it, I hardly knew how inappropriate it really was
Pic semi related
it's not that it was super obscure, it's that, at the time, only lowbrow people with actual senses of humor knew it
before you had the internet to look up what every little thing means, you could get away with a lot of obscure and not-so-obscure terms. Lest we forget the character Boner (it helps if it has another concurrent meaning)
Joker once referred to someone as a gunsel. nobody batted an eye. and i wanna say 'catamite' made it into a show once.
sadly you can't get away with...

Heathcliff is blowing bubbles.
Is this worth watching? Looks cute
