Starting it with Niko and Nouchka from Tintin and the Lake of Sharks. Try to top this.
I hate this trope so much.

Does it bring back unpleasant memories to you?
>"DUSTY OLD BONES! FULL OF GREEN DUST!"
What did he mean by this?
>>77634512
i think that's the point. kids say dumbass shit and dont question it. they dont censor themselves even for sensemake. it represents how his parents dont curtail him whatsoever
>>77634512
>Green Dust
i have an idea
>>77634512
he's just making fun of him for being old. that's all it is, basically.
imagine this, in some depictions, when people go beyond being old, they turn to skeletons and eventually dust. ashes to ashes, dust to dust. that's prob what he meant by it.
Will Captain Planet reboot works?
>>77634347
Only if they make him black. Because having a multiethnic cast and mother Earth herself brown is not enough.
>>77634560
That's not good enough. Captain Planet will only work as a plus-sized transgendered lesbian of color.
Only if he mans the fuck up and puts down the villains, so there's no chance of them coming back to try and fuck earth's environment in the ass. The whole "but if we kill we're no better" is bullshit. Just cap the bitches and move on.
How is Wally not your favorite hero
>>77634273
Because Superman is.
He's a close second for DC heroes though.
>>77634273
Wally West is best Flash.
Barry Allen is a uninteresting boring turd. The only way to make him interesting is to get rid of Wally.
Fuck you Johns. Fucking fuck face asshat piece of shit.
Why did DC change all their redheads to having green eyes again? It happened around Zero Hour right?
So I was vaguely aware that Black Widow went though a Pamela Anderson phase, but I always dismissed it as just a generic cheesecake book. Then I run across an old ad for it and...Greg Rucka wrote this?
Is it actually good?
No idea, but Rucka on a badass lady book probably isn't awful. Going in blind and just reading it yourself is probably safe.
>>77633829
There was a different Black Widow by the name of Yelena Belova, that's who the book is about.
>>77633829
> but I always dismissed it as just a generic cheesecake book
That's because of those garbage softcore poser covers. The whole Yelena Belova saga during the MAX/Marvel Knights era is pretty enjoyable, some stories more than others.
It's basically a trilogy, Black Widow: Pale Little Spider / Black Widow 1999 Mini-series / Black Widow: Breakdown
The Mini-series is the weakest link because it feels like they were making the plot up as they went along, and it's...

Why were 80s cartoon women so sexy?
>>77633107
I thought that was the magic school bus lady for a second
>>77633308
Miss Frizzle would be way more upbeat about it. A broken sword is just an opportunity for a class lesson on medieval forging techniques.
They actually have some more anatomy to them than modern cartoons have.
Compare her to any SU character where they're like three boxes connected by a tube
Batman would solve a lot of Gotham's problems with this approach.
Batman's not a cannibal
Apart from Condiment King, I don't see many of Batman's villains being super useful at Thanksgiving.

Big mistake on his part is all I'm saying.
> go to comic convention today
> guy is selling mystery boxes for $35 each

> one of the boxes contain a voucher for a PS4
> figure what the hell, I didn't buy anything else today except the entry ticket.
> pick box, open it and get this in it.
Soo... wtf? I did some googling and found out...

you got junk for 35 dollars

Holy shit, is that Herbie muthafuckin' Popnecker? Holy shit, I didn't even know they had figures of him.
It's probably not worth much, but the comics themselves are fucking masterclasses in absurdist comedy. Great fucking stuff. Alan Moore's favorite comic, too.

Go back and make them give you one that's right side up.

Crossed Psychopath fucked my shit up so badly I'm having trouble sleeping

do a storytime then bro
>>77630230
This pathetic edgy bullshit actually triggered you? Seriously?
Circle of salt did me for a bit. Still don't read those pages when it's storytimed.
Is there any other long-lasting New 52 series that has been as consistently bad as RHATO? You had Lobdell beating the reader over the head with shitty narration for 30 issues, as well as awful runs from Tynion and Pfeiffer as well. And then it was relaunched, and remained awful as Red Hood/Arsenal.
The only one I can think of that comes close is Teen Titans, which had to put up with 30 of Lobdell, and is currently somewhere between mediocre and terrible under Pfeiffer. But at least DC's putting Pak on it in February.
Others that miss the cut:
- Suicide...

Earth 2 feels like it has been awful for ages.
RHATO was definitely bad. But it was my guilty pleasure, and I did like the weird dynamic between that randomly assigned trio. Even grim slutfire. Once Tynion took over though, there was no reason for me to stick with it. I'll enjoy R/A while it lasts though.
>>77630284
I've come to think that Red Hood/Arsenal fills the current void of Blue and Gold that DC has, in it's own stupid way.
At least it does for me.
What if Jessica ends up with Danny. I can't see this Luke wanting to marry the woman that killed his wife.
>>77629660
>I can't see this Luke wanting to marry the woman that killed his wife.
It happens literally all the time in media.
She hasn't got enough soul for Danny. Misty Knight or nothing for that man.
>>77629660
>killed his wife
Well I guess this is my punishment for visiting /co/ before finishing the show.
Why is he so fucking obsessed with basketball?
Is this a thing with jewish boys?
He just likes basketball.
Lot's of kids like basketball.
Basketball used to be the Jew sport before it became the black sport.
