Is this co's favorite film?
>>77645169
I've still never even seen it. Not really interested with it considering the tag "from the creator of Fritz the Cat."
>>77645169
Never heard of it, but the full movie is on Youtube

This is the strangest question I seen asked here.... for years.
Is anyone actually for this shit?
>>77645071
I liked her SHIELD Anniversary one shot well enough so I know the creative team won't be awful.
I like Bobbi, but I need more of a hook.
>>77645150
Captain Hook?
Rate him using marvel power grid

Judging by stats alone he is pretty weak
>Corporate mergers involve hooking up at a bar
>"Can't we just be strategic partners?"
>"I never swap stock on the first meeting."

It's a shame this show didn't get more of a following. It deserved a few more seasons.

>>77645903
seriously. it had some profoundly good lines and fantastic characters. Alice is the kind of character we REALLY need in this day and age
>That's disgusting. I can sue you both for making this a hostile work environment
>Ten minutes ago you beat a man senseless.
>He was senseless before I beat him.
Co, I read all of Frank Miller's Daredevil this weekend.
Holy fucking shit, that was incredible. Except for The Man Without Fear Mini, this was incredible. It's been years since I read DKR but I can't imagine it being anywhere near as profound and stunning as Born Again.
Any thoughts on this run?
>>77644706
its great. best cap quote by far came out of it.
>>77644706
>Except for The Man Without Fear
That was far from the strongest part, but I still thought it was like 8/10 minimum.
>>77644706
>Any thoughts on this run?
Best "serious" cape run of all time. Born Again is the peak, but just in generally it was better than any other attempt at a serious portrayal of superheroes and probably the best thing Marvel ever published.
>douche the show
Why are we letting our kids watch this?
Why is Alvin not a chipmunk anymore?
>>77644604
Good question.
>see a few episodes of this
>Alvin actually IS a huge dildo, every episode he acts like an unneeded cunt
>saw him let their school go to shit because he blackmailed his own brother
>constantly gets grounded but just waltzes out of his room and ends the episode with "dont worry i learned this time *SLY WINK TO THE AUDIENCE*"
>physically attacks his brothers
>treats dave like an absolute...

Shadman was fucking unbearable in the latest podcast. Even worse was the test podcast before S2. Such an edge-lord.
ITT: Animators/Artists Podcasts thread.

They released new episodes?
They're all edgelords. Their podcast is pretty fucking bad and they all come off like such horrible disgusting people, it's no wonder /co/ loves it so much.
THIS IS A PODCAST, ALL ABOUT *ME!*
Nuke is the hero we deserve and need.
Is he redpilled?
the pills make much more sense in this than they do in comics
good job
>>77643465
A twink is not what I think of when I think of nuke.
>one of the best cartoons ever created
>regarded as merely "okay" but a lot of /co/ posters
Why?
>I like to make things up and state them as fact
Why?
It didn't age well
The show doesn't know what it's doing.
Are they trying to appeal to adults with their references to pop culture that kids have no way of knowing? But then what's up with all the slapstick and fart/burp humor?
Is it trying to be educational by featuring historic figures? But then all of those are completely inaccurate.
But really the main issue is it's just not that funny or interesting.
What are the advantages and limitations of the comic format?
I'm wondering what /co/'s opinion is on this, because now that I think about it I can't really think of any comic book that I would consider a "masterpiece" on the level of, say, A Passage to India (which is still pretty pleb as far as masterpieces go anyway).
>>77642955
The advantage is that it's its own unique artform with plenty of possibilities for playing with style and storytelling.
The downside is that no one will read your comic if it isn't capeshit, a bad gag comic about "nerd culture," a boring slice of life thing about insufferable hipsters, or weird fetish porn.
>>77642955
>advantages
You can pretty much do anything you have the time and imagination for.
>limitations
The audience.
I don't know what to tell you, Anon. Maybe you're reading the wrong comics?
Since you enjoy books about European colonialism, maybe you'll enjoy a comic about European colonialism.

When?
>>77642723
There was a shrek 4?
The Shrek franchise isogre
>>77643093
Yeah but no one likes to acknowledge it
So recently, I decided to rewatch some eps of pic related, and I gotta ask, why did some people hate this show, exactly? It's certainly not the best show ever, but I thought it had a lot of charm to it, and that the art style was pretty creative and funny in general (to me that is, cus I've always loved this kind of asthetic).
I'd post "eating_snot.webm", but I lost it after yet another accidental HDD wipe
The show was mostly mediocre, with some painful grossouts. Props for playing that Sims 1 Makin Magic music in one episode though (I have no idea what't that piece called)
>>77642380
The grossout humor and reliance on wacky faces and some slapstick instead of crafting and joke with a punchline.
Real cute show and had me smile throughout, but never outright laugh. Millie best girl.
>>77642737
Oh yeah, I remember seeing that in an ep yesterday. Yeah, it was pretty hard to stomach.
>this piece of shit isn't coming out now until AFTER Secret Wars #9
UU is going out on a real low point, anons.
>>77642275
Well at least it's going out.
Fuck Bendis.
>>77642275
Thanks Bendis.
Again.
When can we have lead characters in cartoons that are assholes again? Cartoons are just so flooded with loveable idiot sweetheart MCs right now.
>you are now realizing for a modern Garfield based cartoon to be successful, Nermal would have to be the lead character
>>77642241
Regular Show? Also, Nermal was an asshole too.
>>77642241
Their was/is a modern Garfield cartoon
What villains not big enough for movies do you think could work for Marvel TV series?
I think the Hood would be cool as the Big Bad for the Defenders, organizing a bunch of super-villains into a crime syndicate.
>>77641766
Yea I'd love to see the Hood, too bad too cause he really should be a serious threat, but I can see him being good for Marvel TV especially since hes much darker and wouldn't work as well in the PG world of the avengers.
>>77641766
All villains just end up dying because lol plot armor on the protagonist.
>>77642367
that's applicable in the comics too m8
