Are these new super hero live-action shows worth watching? I've seen half an episode of The Flash and 2 episodes of Constantine, am I just wasting my time as a comic fan (meaning they're made more for teenagers and nrrrdgrlz) or do they pick up for people that read comics?
I was in the same boat as you OP, and kept getting whisked back with false promises. Don't bother, they're just CW shit like Smallville, though now Friday Night Lights is'nt as popular, so they ape Supernatural and have brief flashes of MCU tier quippy shit that's nothing like any comic run, no characters or villains are worth you time.
No, they aren't.
>Mfw Mable and Dipper are actually triplets and Mable killed their brother
FINAL ESCALATION ISSUE
ALL HANDS ON DECK
Or not, since it's an anti-climax.
Kelly does it again!
Little brown girls with big vocabularies are probably trying to make the audience some other kind of philes.
I can't tell if this show is meant to appeal to kids, or teenage stoners
It's stoner comedy that's been bowdlerized so it's appropriate for a child audience.
Some exec at CN saw "Two in the AM/PM" and said "holy shit, I want this, but you know, for the kids."
Would you be ok with an MCU Captain Marvel like this?
Long/short hair? Unitard?
You either go full leotard or not at all.
A jacket and thigh-highs is just in bad taste.
Short hair > Long
Open the jacket and it'd look nice, but not something that would fly with Marvel's core audience.
Domino mask looks cool but is kinda pointless. Her current costume is already movie-styled anyway.
My /tv/ thread died a painful death so let's try it here.
Can we talk about Batman Begins- how the script is so extremely good, how Nolan managed to make such a coherent movie, and how BB is a geniunely powerful work of art.
This film is an order of magnitude better than any other blockbuster ever made, insofar as actually having a vision that was clear throughout the movie, and was not sacrificed on the alter of mass appeal.
>all this... It's not me. Inside I am... I am *more*.
This guy slaps your girlfriends ass. What do you do?
I thought he was a reference to No Country For Old Men for some reason.

DO YOU LIKE IT?
So if the Hyper Adapter was sent back in time and killed and skinned for Bruce to wear at the beginning of RoBW, when did it get to Thomas Wayne/Simon Hurt? Also did it possess him because if so how did it then also possess Bruce. My brain hurts. Help me /co/.
Do we have any archeological evidence of bats that could hunt primates? Bat's large enough would be primates, not rodents, right, they climb trees like primates, but they have rodent/kangaroo faces.
Why doesn't DC/Marvel do anything like this anymore? Get a rising writer to do a series about a character with no ties to any previous stories and build something like a creator owned title inside an established universe?
No Kamala doesn't count. She's Ms. Marvel, which is an established property.
Starman would be a more accurate thing, as nobody gave a fuck about Starman before Robinson came along.
>Get a rising writer to do a series about a character with no ties to any previous stories and build something like a creator owned title inside an established universe?
>like a creator owned title
There you go.
Creators today prefer to create creator-owned titles, rather than create "like" creator-owned titles.
That's why Marvel and DC are the wrong places to look if you want to find new characters.
Meant to do this last night, but fell asleep.
Again, no idea who this is made for.
