>>77981191

>>77982032
Agreed
Is this show worth watching?
>>77981133
Yes, just don't expect Lion King level awesome.
>>77981149
>Lion King [...] awesome
Better check yourself.
nice animation
stupid everything else
honestly though it's been so long since I've seen nice 2d animation I'm willing to put up with it a little bit more than I would have been like twelve years ago
whats /co/'s opinion on chowder?
>>77981032
Would you care for a free lollipop?
>>77982488
WOULD I
>>77981032
It was a stupid show.
So how old were you when you mostly grew out of Marvel and got into the superior Vertigo and independent comics?
>>77980781
Fuck off hipster scumbag
>>77980781
>b8 but I agree with it
about 16 or 17
>>77980781
15 years ago. I'm still fond of some DC obscure stuff, and X-Men.
So I finally decided to get over MUH BATMAN and watch Gotham. Gotta say I'm really enjoying it, I'm just about to finish up S1 and from what I heard it gets better in S2.
Baby Bruce is a way better child actor than I'm used to which really helps
Also Le Riddle Man is best boy
>>77980450
>best gotham boy
>not bullock
>>77980450
keep watching it gets even better!
>>77980542
>Bullock
>le "it´s Gotham here, tough life kiddo" cliché cop
The actor´s good, sure, but his character is as flat as a piece of paper.
I know that Namor's movie rights are in some weird legal limbo with Universal, but what about his videogame and TV rights? Lets look at the facts:
>Hasn't shown up in a videogame since 2006, as an NPC in Marvel Ultimate Alliance
>Marvel Heroes MMO has over 100 characters, he isn't there
>Marvel Puzzle Quest has over 100 characters, he isn't there
>Lego Marvel had over 100 playable characters, he wans't there. A TT developer said...

So fucking what if he doesn't appear in a shitty cartoon or game? Good on him I say.
>>77980164
I see that /co/ recently cares more about Namor.
interesting.
Who is so desperately clutching onto the rights for Namor?
So how could Book 5 comics Salvage this show?
Remember, even the star wars Prequels spawned awesome with the right people behind them
>>77980073
>So how could Book 5 comics Salvage this show?
It won't.
Clones
full penetration
80's: Grim dark age
90's: Edgy
00's: Big Commercial Events Age
10's: tumble age but otherwise the same as the last decade
Did I get that right?
>>77979988
First half of 90's was Extreme not edgy, second half was Neo-Classical with runs like Robinson's Starman and Busiek' Avengers
This return to the spirit of classic comics in modern settings lead to stagnant nostalgia in the 2000's
>>77979988
>tumble age
You. Go and try to find the period during which capeshit hasn't been socially progressive.
I'll be waiting.
>>77980295
There's being "socially progressive" and then there's pandering to identity politics. Supporting unions doesn't mean you're okay with trannies.

infortunately I don't have pic but i fucking love the moment on "Scooby Doo & the cyber-chase" where Scooby and Shaggy eat junk food
>That feel when you have an entire folder dedicated to tasty looking food from cartoons but are too lazy to post it all
So many cartoons make foods I hate look and sound delicious.
It pisses me off!
ITT /co/ntent creators you relate to
Me? I'm literally Trey Parker.
>>77979601
Who?
Because I'm never going to be greenlit either
That's their son?
Weird.

"The fictional heroes of the past, while still retaining all of their charm and power and magic, have had some of their credibility stripped away forever as a result of the new sophistication in their audience. With the benefit of hindsight and a greater understanding of anthropoid behavior patterns, science fiction author Philip Jose Farmer was able to demonstrate quite credibly that the young Tarzan would almost certainly have indulged in sexual experimentation with chimpanzees and that he would just surely have had none of the aversion to eating human flesh that Edgar Rice Burroughs attributed to him.As our political and social consciousness continues to evolve, Alan Quartermain stands revealed as just another white imperialist out to exploit the natives and we begin to see that the overriding factor in James Bond's psychological makeup is his utter hatred and contempt for women. Whether most of us would prefer to enjoy the above-mentioned gentlemen's adventures without spoiling things by considering the social implications is beside the point. The fact remains that we have changed, along with our society, and that were such characters created today they would be subject to the most extreme suspicion and criticism."
Interesting discussion last time, I really dug some of the works, the James Bond devling especially
I think that there are some notable examples of people taking the premise of a work and extending its implications. Grant Morrison with New Xmen,Dwayne McDuffie on JLU or the Star Wars Clone Wars crew all took the raw ideas of there IPs and rather that radicallly altered them, took them at there value and built stories around them. That is "Bad Mooring"is someone saying Ray Gun steve isn't scientifically accurate. "Good Morring" is when you point out how ray guns destroyed the rifle industry and how that affected arms and war.
It doesnt need to be strictly textual either.Co for example has pointed out how utterly fucked Legend of Korra was.
>>77979278
Alias and Jessica Drew are an example of that. You have this goofy silver age mind control villian but his effects on people is real hardcore shit.
I love Alan Moore's writing. It's utterly fantastic.
>>77979278
I didn't catch the last thread regretfully. I think both extremes have their place today. Sometimes I want to read the mindless exploitations of silver age heroes or pop culture icons. Sometimes I want to read something that challenges my thinking in a new way. People normally wouldn't attribute the latter to comics. But comics have become a good medium to explore the consequences of what I consider very pulpy science fiction topics. They can take really silly things, drop them into the real world, and...

What are some characters that are just pure chaotic fun, anything similar to Lobo, Joker, Jinx, Deadpool. I'm looking for a character that is pure id and fun, not necessarily chaos incarnate.
Harley.
What comic/cartoon is Jinx from? She looks like a qt.
>>77979053
It's a League of Legends (MOBA game) character.
Get Jinxed.

>will look something like this 99% of movie
>adopts regular spidey costume in last 30 seconds
>MAYBE only before final battle, but no earlier than that

>>77978792
No
EW or some news media shitters such as that caught a glimpse of the suit on set when they visited the production
he has a normal Spider-Man suit
>>77979013
Either they show pics, or they need to shut the fuck up.
So given Transformers is one of those classic IPs that are constantly renewed, how would /co/ do the next TF franchise. What new angle to explore would you like to see.
>>77978623
War on Cybertron. No humans. Competent writers. Something like War Within.
>>77978623
do whatever you can to piss off the fandom.
