So tonight's the final episode of the new Muppet show until Winter's over. Did /co/ like it?
Christmas special was actually decent. If they continue with that tone, i think it'll be decent enough. It'll probably get renewed because ABC isn't gonna let a property like Muppets sit in the dark even if it had mediocre ratings and reception.
I didn't realize Swedish Chef had a wife, and they made it appear he was transgendered in a previous ep so that was bizarre.
Walter not appearing at all is kind of a running joke in itself, wonder if Segel is getting pissed.
Oh, Sam just got a kiss from Janice, that was pretty good too.
Finally off at college. Now old enough to watch Adult Swim. First couple shows is totally like King of the hill, bobs burgers and stuff that use to be shown on Fox as early as 5:30pm over the air back home.
All the weird shows are now around midnight but who the living heck intentionally stays up late for that?
In summary... Adult Swim. What's the freaking point?

I can't I just can't
So I just bought the Saga Book One collection with the first 18 issues on a total whim for $25.
What am I in for? The only of Brian K. Vaughan's stuff I've read is Y: the Last Man, which is the only comic series where I own every individual issue and also the deluxe editions.
Pretty much this.
Also they killed off best girl way too fast.

Friendly reminder that Pre Viszla had Maul beat.
"no one can beat a Jedi/Sith" my ass.
Good evening owls of /co/,
Given what's coming up, let's start with a potted history of the THUNDERBOLTS!
I assume that there are Zooms Zooming tonight? Or was it Rogues?

Why don't we ever talk about this comic?
We used to talk about this and the show all the time back before it blew up around Season 2 and became stupid popular.
Then I guess people assumed it was /tv/'s domain, or just didn't want to talk about it anymore because it was popular.
Do any of you guys know any good comics of mortals turned gods dealing with their newfound powers and struggles to maintain their humanity?
I've read Beyonder's story written by Stan Lee, The New 52 Captain Atom comics, and Watchmen sort of(if that counts).
The Jim Starlin Warlock comics would probably fit
Can This Seth MacFarlane disaster waiting to happen show even be called animation at this point? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjXjqC-1Kvg
So...why did he die?
/co/ I challange you to make a good villains origin story
When do you think he'll be rebooted into being Robin again?
I'm not saying it *should* happen or even that it'll happen soon, but I believe it will happen. Every cape comic eventually goes back to the version of everything that's most familiar to the public. It may take a while but if Spider-Man isn't married and Barry Allen is alive then Dick Grayson will be Robin again someday.
In an elseworld a la Earth One, maybe.
But there are too many batcharacters to really start all over again and their all too popular.
Anyway Dick is starting to be not Robin in more and more things like YJ, Arkham games, etc.
Will anybody care enough to be disappointed?
Just looking for comic recommendations, knowledge is pretty surface level. Loved Hellblazer, Sandman, Lucifer, Alan Moore's Swamp Thing and Hellboy, Liked 100 Bullets and League well enough, Y the Last Man was okay.
Not brand loyal or anything, don't like superheroes in general but I wouldn't dismiss a recommendation because of it.
do you prefer your dragons good or bad ( or neutral animals)
All three, but evil dragons are a little bit more over done and therefore boring if not handled really well.
Overly good dragons have the problem of being made too cute or blobby looking, especially if its aimed at children.
Overall it kind of falls in line with any character: just make the character interesting and designed well for christs sake.
