Come on world it's two thousand and fifteen.

ITT: Shows made for stoners.
That show isn't "made for stoners." Just like Regular Show and Adventure Time aren't "made for stoners."

the song was fun
This would've been a staple of my childhood if it ever got syndicated. Though I bet they would've had to make it more tame for children's tv

I KNOW, RIGHT?
ITT cartoons with brilliant atmospheres stymied by shitty animation, and mediocre plot, and awful intro sequences.
Disregarding OP's blatant bait, I'm going with this.

Disregarding OP and anon's blatant bait, I'm going with this.
Who do you think are the best writers of all time based ONLY on their non-cape work? And I think it's safe to include Vertigo type things like Sandman and Lucifer as non-cape.
For me, it's Gaiman. No matter what I've read, it just doesn't come close to my first read through of Sandman (and he obviously has other solid works as well).
Does Sandman get better as it goes on? I read the first few issues and got kind of bored and never understood why it got so much praise.
I'm going to say Michael Kirkbride and you can suck my cock.
>>78112497
I would recommend it. If you're really just not enjoying it I'm going to call you a faggot and you should feel bad, but it doesn't click with everybody.
>>78112497
Once Death shows up it gets way better and then doesn't stop getting better.
Just got done listening to the Graphic Audio adaption of Ms. Marvel Vol. 1 and was fairly impressed. The voice acting was good and I always have a soft spot for cape audio adventures (love listening to old Superman serials).
Any recommendations? Doesn't have to be Graphic Audio.
I did hear that this Ms. Marvel audio is the only one to be adapted directly from the comic and not an audio version of a book adaption, which may have been why it was so good, if you like Ms. Marvel.

Crisis on Infinite Earths is pretty good. I admit I never actually read the original and I have mostly only read DC from post-Crisis on, so a purist my be disappointed.
It does assume you have an intermediate knowledge of the DC Mutliversal lore, but if you browse /co/ DC threads often, that shouldn't be a problem.
The Judge Dredd Big Finish audio ones are amazing. There was also a radio play done for The Maxx that was intended to be read alongside the first three issues
>>78111874
Anyone do audios for Daredevil?
That one is so obvious there's no way nobody has done that.
This is the most disgusting thing I've seen in my life

So, /co/, was this the last great cartoon Nick put out?
>inb4 harvey beaks
toddler show
>>78111382
I agree. Too bad it was released in the ATLA era, because the channel didn't support it as much.
>inb4 the online voting episode, the second season and McDonald's happy meal toys
>>78111382
It was mixed in terms of cartoons between before Nick got Dan "The Man" Schneider to make sitcoms for kids every five days, but El Tigre was pretty good in my opinion.
I liked Mighty B!, too.
And I thought The X's were alright, and that other show that was made by the same people about two spies.

The Secret Show
that's the show you're talking about
It was pretty fucking hilarious

Hey guys, so i'm 19, i'm big fan of comics but not thtat much of cartoons, i mean i like cartoons but haven't seen very good ones about superheroes. When Batman:TAS was airing i was a baby, so obviously i didn'y see it or i dont remember doing it, should i watch it now' is it worth watching? or is it just overrated? also, please recommend me good comic book based cartoons :)
sorry for my english btw
>>78111059
yeah dude it holds up like mad. i've been rewatching it lately and it's seriously a good watch all the way
there's a few very serious episodes without any supervillains that might bore you, but only a few. just keep watching and youll get to the awesome shit. and then watch STAS and youll get your action fix.
BTAS is still good to watch now, but you have to keep in mind that the episode consistency is kind of shitty. You'll have a GOAT episode followed by complete shit. Basically if you get a few minutes in and it seems boring it's ok to skip ahead.
BTAS is still great.
Justice League Unlimited is the greatest cape cartoon I've ever seen.
Justice League is also very good.
I say all of this as a total marvelfag, too.
What ever happened to him?
The artist who best defined Nightwing's look started to think he was a writer, and fucked him up.

As part of his eternal damnation for being a racist shit, Dwayne McDuffie must watch Static Shock get regularly shitted on inbetween getting raped in his mouth and asshole,by Klansmen....

In this clip did Rick try to kill himself but he passed out right before it could happen or did he back out at the last moment and slam his head against the table?
If you look closely you can see his shoulders depressing as if he is sighing, but at the same time I guess it could be him slipping deeper into unconsciousness.
>discuss
>>78108231
he backed out, stupid
he's not depressed enough to kill himself, but he was drunk enough to think about it
there really isn't enough to discuss and the prompt really isn't that interesting
>>78108231
I always thought the time passage was meant to confirm that he passed out, but it is kinda hard to say.
Looks like he was holding his breath, passed out, and exhaled.
>>I haven't gotten a single angry message or email thus far.
Maybe because nobody is actually invested in your comic anymore after 7 months of fuckall happening.
I can't be the only person noticing this is happening every second or third update now.
>>78107851
>>78108281
Lol you guys who don't know how fucking hard making comics is
>>78108334
updating once every 3 days is nothing
I'm more surprised he isn't backed up with tons of comics
If he's really that busy, why would he make a little doodle of himself instead of just posting the text?
nobody is impressed
nobody is happy
nobody is sated
