Does anyone on /co/ know why action toy-line based cartoons died out? Things like He-Man, Transformers, Wheeled Warriors, Thundercats, etc.
Kids these days who could afford such toys are all about them smartphones and shit.
They're probably seen as misogynist for being so heavily marketed to boys.
because Lego, videogames and japanese cardgames

Absolutely disgusting. One more reason not to watch that garbage.

She didn't even deserve that much. Worthless bitch ought to stay in books nobody reads, where she belongs.

Was it really that bad? The few seconds I've seen of it looked on par with the DTVs.

I love the influx of Thomas the Tank Engine knock offs in the 90s. Pretty much all of them copied the wrong elements.

>RON TROUPE: Let’s go back. You mentioned the government. What role do they play in your “new global paradigm”?
>LEX LUTHOR: Last week, I would have given you a totally different answer.
>RON TROUPE: What changed?
>LEX LUTHOR: Let’s just say I ran into a wall. I’m not going to go into a lot of detail here. Suffice it to say the dangers we’ve been talking about are very real. And they’re not just limited to a couple of alien brawlers able to level tall buildings in a single bout. I’m ready to sit down with whatever task force the government has assembled — in the interest of sharing intelligence and building solutions together. If she… they… Argus… the government, whatever you want to call it, has a real interest in fighting for the future, they ought to work with those of us who are already on the front lines.
What's the odds of Lex being imprisoned in a very comfortable cell in Belle Reeve at the end of BvS? That Amanda Waller has his back just in case he's incarcerated for his attempts to destroy the Trinity? There have been rumors of him showing up in Suicide Squad.
Is it all going just according to keikaku?

I still don't understand why they casted him for lex luther.

When will people understand that the past tense of cast is cast?

I still don't understand why people like you care when you can't even spell his name correctly.
Remember when Celebrities* used to get their own cartoon series? There used to be quite a few of them over the last few decades; Just off the top of my head I can think of The Beatles, Gary Coleman, Mr. T, MC Hammer (pic related), Roseanne Barr, even New Kids on the Block got their own show**.
Do they still make celebrity cartoons? The last one I can think of is Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi and that was early 2000's. Have there been any in the last 10 years?
I'm not interested in cameos or guest appearances that take place in someone else's series (eg Adam...

Have you seen it yet /co/?
It's actually pretty great.

>Ghibli is now at work on a new animated movie, titled The Red Turtle. However, it’s debatable whether or not it should be called anime, since it’s a co-production with Europe’s Wild Bunch, and has a Dutch director and French screenwriter.
>Sitting in the director’s chair is Michael Dudok de Wit, who also directed Father and Daughter, the winner of the Academy Award for Best Animated Short in 2001. The script is being handled by Pascale Ferran, whose most recent film was 2014’s Bird People.
>Isao Takahata, who directed Ghibli’s 2013 The Tale of Princess Kaguya as well as anime classics Grave of the Fireflies and Pom Poko, will serve as artistic producer on the film, which will have visuals produced by Studio Ghibli. The collaboration has been involved enough that de Wit temporarily relocated to Tokyo to be closer to the Ghibli staff, with Takahata personally checking the movie’s storyboards.
>Details are still scar(c)e regarding The Red Turtle, including what proportion of the final on-screen animation will come from Ghibli and how much will be done by French animators.
>scheduled for release in Japan next September.

What's this current obsession with making Superman into Hitler?
>>78267174
Its not current, it's always been.
>>78267174
People who don't understand Superman or the concept of someone with power not abusing it think it's a super original and entertaining idea despite the fact that it's been done OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
>>78267174
