>Daredevil/Jessica Jones producers say they didn't include Avengers Tower because it was "too expensive"
>this guy added it over the MetLife building with about 10 minutes in AfterEffects
Yeah, and it shows.
pathetic excuse, really
lazy cunts
>>78351609
That's not the point. This is just what some asshole with AE did in their free time. Imagine what a professional could've done.
Marvel just got lazy.
Does /co/ like Dave the Barbarian? How about in HDTV? https://kat.cr/dave-the-barbarian-hevc-720p-t11794317.html
>>78351498
Dave, if I remember correctly, was one of the few LOLRANDUM shows that actually worked decently
It was one of the first shows I actually hurt myself laughing so hard
>>78351556
It was pretty ahead of its time. It's sad it got cancelled, I bet it'd have great ratings if it aired nowadays.
>>78351498
What happened to it? It just sort of...vanished one day.
I'm obsessed with "tribute" characters.
The alternate costume designs and backstories.
The challenge of making a character who's similar enough for readers to see the resemblance, but different enough to not be copyright infringement.
The way they can reinterpret their inspiration.
Can anyone else relate? What are your favorite tribute characters? What do you like about them? How do they compare to their inspiration?
Try Michel Fiffe's COPRA. It's a tribute comic not just to one character, but to a whole team of characters-- specifically, to John Ostrander's eighties run on Suicide Squad.
>>78351398
it doesn't stop with Suicide Squad
DKR, Morrison's Doom Patrol, Ditko Doctor Strange, JRJR Punisher, Silvestri Reavers, JRJR Typhoid Mary, and I'm sure plenty of characters I don't get the obvious tributes for
Big Bang Comics was always great for this stuff.

Another guy had sex with Rouge without a condom.
The doctors aren't sure he'll wake up from the coma.
>>78350697
They didn't manage to finish, did they?
>>78350728
Nope, as usual, the poor guy wasn't even fully erect before his body went into shock.
Rouge kept trying to get off to his limp dick for about half an hour before she finally get help.

Talk about a brick joke.
And he was never heard from again. Stay in school, kids.
The End
homer's mom didnt love him did she?
>>78349056
Hmm, let's see:
>betrayed her husband and son for some hippie cock festa
>capable of feeling love
Choose one
no
even when she died she still played with his heart, she's a miserable human being
>>78349115
Can you blame her?
Abe was shown to be a god awful husband that no-one would blame you for leaving or cheating on, and Homer is Homer. She knew the well was poisoned, got out and salvaged what she could of her life.
>ITT; Things you didn't notice until much later
Just noticed that Giant man is named so, not only because he's giant, but because it's a wordplay of Ant man.
>Aquaman is called Aquaman because aqua means water in latino
Batman is actually named after battles, not bats.
The Superman logo is a stylized S.
Honestly, how important is DEEPEST LORE for you?
Depends on the genre of the media I guess. Like adventure fantasies are better with deep lore, personally. And science fiction stuff.
i just like payoffs in series with continuity.pic unrelated i guess
>>78348195
Moderately.
What are your thoughts on Emerald Twilight/Parallax /co/? Was it a franchise destroying stain on the DCU or was it a unique and innovative storyline? Was it the best thing they've ever done with Hal Jordan or was it a decade long character derail? What do you think about Spectre Hal? The Rebirth retcon?
Talk to me /co/
It led to Kyle so it's good
>>78348188
I try not to think about it too much. It's finally over, the damage fixed, so it's all good. And I like the yellow fearbug.
>>78348926
Yeah when I went back to read ET and some of the letter pages in the following issues the editors took a Marvel-esque approach to needling readers and even 20 fucking years later it really rustled my jimmies
>I try not to think about it too much. It's finally over, the damage fixed, so it's all good. And I like the yellow fearbug.
That's about my thoughts too
Hi,
Very famous cartoon creator here.
Need ideas for new revolutionary cartoon characters.
Sort of like archie comics realish feel who are only tweens but in 1940 in Russia and getting drafted to war and getting raped and dying and one of them is puertorican.

>The Rover Hendrix joke has been described by the show's writers as the worst joke in Simpsons history.
Do you agree?
>>78347474
maybe at the time, it was pretty underwhelming, as a kid who grew up on and loved the show, and a guy who was really into hendrix, I didn't get or enjoy the joke in any way. so. yeah it's lame, but I find gross-out humor about 1000x more bad than just a bland joke.
I never thought it was a joke. i thought the dog was a symbol for the loneliness the world felt after the passing of jimi hendrix, and how everyone desperately wanted to be with him again.
Truly one of the most touching moments in the show.
>>78347474
Maybe the worst classic season joke because you can't even begin to know horrible Simpsons jokes until you've...yeah,
When you see this picture, do you think "This is Classic Simpsons", "This is Neo Simpsons", or "This is Transitional Simpsons"?
I think, Everything's coming up Milhouse!
>>78347374
Classic Simpsons for me.
>>78347374
I think, "This is a pretty good meme. 7/10."
>Character has super strength
>Tries to open door
>Accidentally lifts entire door
It's weird that they don't just rip off the handle. Makes for a better visual, I suppose.
Related:
>Character with super strength pulls on something that weighs much more than them, without any kind of anchoring
>It moves and they don't
>Pure Energy

You just described my favorite parts of this movie
Hay you! Do you like amvs?
>>78345248
Amvs are only for /a/, there has never been a good /co/ amv.
I like them for as embarrassingly stupid as most of them are because of my incurable addiction to gay ships. It's an extremely guilty pleasure of mine, probably one of the dumbest things I do in my spare time. Of course, I don't actually post mine on YT because I'm too ashashmed of my own terrible shipping garbage, I kind of make them for myself, as stupid as that sounds.
It does piss me off though when I'm looking for a clip and I run into an AMV that was titled as a clip or fight scene.
>>78345866
Well at least you're able to contain your horrible shipping habits.
>It does piss me off though when I'm looking for a clip and I run into an AMV that was titled as a clip or fight scene.
The rage is strong with this one
