What does /co/ think of this movie?
It's great, the tension at the end almost killed me as a child
>>78500728
I like it, have it on PAL DVD (with all the bonus features).
>>78500728
That's the danish one, right? It's really good for what i remember it for. Though there was a few moments i thought was bullshit even as a kid, the villain and the way they defeat him was handled well.
I should rewatch it but what language should i watch it in? Danish is a fucking atrocious, throat condition, excuse of a language. I'm not particularly fond of my own country's dub, so should i go for english?
What /co/ related merchandise did you recently get?
Tell us and make us jelly...or something.
I guess these are at Target or something.
Holy Crap! That's a lot of merch.
I guess Disney is banking on this shit big time.
the hair got him an executive position which certainly pays more than working in Sector 7G. the dimoxinil was proven to work and would have returned the investment several times over since the episode proved it was the hair that made him successful. pretty foolish decision by Marge IMO
Do you remember the name of this episode? I had a dvd with old simpsons episodes but my cousin scratched it.
>>78500157
Simpson and Delilah

Thanks.
TMNT's original cartoon turned 28 today. What are /co/'s overall thoughts on the series?
I have it to thank for basically nursing my interest in the property, as I grew up on it, the subsequent merch & films, etc. I think it's a pretty amusing show, if only for its absurdity. Some of it has held up well enough (like the first season & stand out episodes across some others) but a lot of it hasn't. Then of course there were the weird filler features that nobody ever liked, like when hillbillies caused a ruckus in NYC, when Mr. Ogg the porcelain...

Interesting concepts pulled off way better in later incarnations
But Uncle Phil Shredder is the best Shredder
Well said anon
>>78499804
>It defined the turtles as the public knows them, & did a lot for the property in general, but all the same it has held it back considerably, as most people refuse to see it as anything more than fodder for kids & toy sales (the Mirage comics, known for their maturity; a somewhat depressive & introspective tone paired with actual ninja action, are often dismissed outright).
This.
Without Mako, only them.
Everything would have been better.
>>78499671
Fuck without Mako, without Asami the Cardboard Character the show would have been slightly more tolerable.
>>78499671
wah Mako is boring I hate the law I'm going to smoke pot and hate myself
think that about covers everything
Mako did nothing wrong.
Who is best Alfred?
>>78499423
zimbalist, followed by napier and gough
i cannot believe they think jeremy irons can play him
>>78499571
Irons is alright. He's done lots of villain roles but several good guy roles too like in The Mission. And he sounds posher than Caine which is refreshing.
>>78499571
Jeremy Irons is a great actor, I'd be surprised if he CAN'T pull it off.

The description sounded fucking amazing. Hope it's accurate.
I used to like Fatman on Batman, then it turned into Fatman on Shillman. It's a shame because Mark is a great co-host
>>78499715
>It's a shame because Mark is a great co-host
I liked him until he started spouting stupid bullshit nonsense about iron fist and how amazing it would be if danny was asian. Kev just kind of likes whatever someone with enthusiasm tells him.
After 15 years of endlessly postponing it, I finally gave the long-eared ronin a chance and read one of his stories.
Fuck. Me. This comic is incredible. The composure, structure, inks, panelling, lettering, characters... Everything. The story can be predictable from time to time, but that's the worst I can say about it. I feel like shit for not supporting Stan Sakai's work earlier. The only good thing that came from waiting for so long is the possibility to buy all those neat 500 pages thick Fantagraphics and Dark Horse trades collecting all printed issues. Needles to say, I got all to date. And Senso. And Yokai. But since a new one comes out only every few months, the wait is killing me. May we have a discussion about Usagi and other comic gems?
>>78499156
Welcome, brother.
I'm waiting to get a tablet to read it anywhere.
Being able to read on the shitter helps me follow any long series.
>>78499173
Thanks. Now I know why you guys love it so much. It's just a gold mine of wonderful things.
For example, there are many great character moments, but if I was to pick my favorite character trait, it'd be Usagi being a total sucker when it comes to kids. He, a samurai by birth, literally allows children of peasants to climb on his head and takes it with a smile. It's a nice contrast to his amazing (though not by his choice) body count.

What are the most realistic examples of child prodigies in comicbooks and cartoons?
>>78499145
>you will never date a petite genius girl
life is not worth it
>>78500322
>tfw you almost did but her parents were fundamentalists
>>78500393
Sorry to hear that, bro.
Where is she these days?
>Eye of Agamotto de-confirmed as another space stone incoming
>Magic is real confirmed
Sexy ass fuck, too.
>>78499012
I'm pretty hyped with the pictures they put out even though the movie is still early in shooting and it's all just concept shit.
That shit around his neck is 100% a stone, actually.
>>78499124
Confirmed where?
/co/ guys you wanna cuddle and comfort
You have 3 fucking containment boards, faggot, pick one.
>>78498965
I already picked
>>78498923
undeformed quasimodo?
Now that Civil War is getting closer this is really starting to hit me. Loss takes a while to really get to me, you know it's not till you move forward that you feel the emptiness.
I just hate this all so much. I don't want to see some half assed revival or I dont know. Im just mad at Wheddon and JJ and all these hack ass writers who need to kill a character in the 3rd act to make their story better. I mean the story is betrayed in AoU. Ultron has a chance to kill BW, instead he kidnaps her for the sake of the franchise? Wheddon wouldn't kill a woman cause...

He was a shit character
There will never be a half decent Quicksilver on the big screen because the character is now canonically dead after a portrayal that was not too horribly terrible or good.
>>78498621
Blame the 'Kill one character per movie' policy the Avengers films implemented
>that feel when you see the place you were born from swinging back and forth in your face
>>78498240
pretty sure we think its okay at best
I liked it.
Honestly hits a bit close to home.
It targets every bad stereotype of "adult" cartoons in western animation. Even it's title is generic.
Ed Edd'n eddy thread?
>>78498627
KILL THE STRELOK
>>78498025
Just happened to be watching it today. Holy shit those Kanker sisters are rape-y as fuck. Don't remember them being that aggressive when I watched the show as a kid.How far do you think they went? Was it rape?
How the fuck could Tony and his team beat Ant Man?
Vision.
But Scott is pretty broken. And we don't know what Wanda's full capabilities are yet.
>>78497901
Scott is pretty broken, but he doesn't yet know how to push the suit to its fully limit of hilariously-broken-ness. Although I'd imagine the time between the end of the Ant-Man movie and the start of Civil War has been spent with him and Pym further overlocking the suit. I hope they do something cool with it in the movie, even though he's not a huge part of the story.
I swear if we dont get some sort of Ant-Man/Hawkeye combo move Im gonna be pissed.
