Why does Marvel keep going to Kris Anka to redesign their characters? He's fucking terrible at it, the only decent redesign he's ever done is the Psylocke one, everything else is just awful.

To be honest, they don't look bad, just bland.
>>78608239
I dig the spidey but it needs the cape and to be less bulky
>>78608239
I like his Captain Marvel and Spider-Woman
Storm and Spidey 2099 not so much

RUSSOS LITERALLY SAVED MCU
I feel like Marvel is gonna dry their well soon

People have to be getting burnt out on the sheer volume of super hero movies. I know I am.

Sweet.
Do you worship the Lizard Queen?

I worship the Space Pope.
I'm interested in how people on /co/ go about obtaining their comics.
Do you buy physical issues at your local comic shop?
Do you buy them online for your tablet/computer individually or use subscription services?
Pirate them?
Just curious.
>>78601671
Pirate and buy trades in book stores or online or occasionally my LCS.
I either download, or wait for them to come on sale/Marvel Unlimited. With the high USD comics cost over 7AUD just for a digital copy.
LCS mostly. The owner is pretty good to me and sometimes offers me a good deal. I'll also occasionally buy a trade or hardcover online.
what does /co/ think of Silk Spectre?
>>78600735
I'd silk her spectre.
Silk Spectre in general, or that one in particular?
Because the movie version reminds me of the kind of mousy girl you'd have a crush on in High School, and she looks silly in that outfit.

Friendly reminder that this is what Marvel denied us
>>78591900
>IT WASN'T A BABY, YOUR JIZZ IS JUST REALLY FUCKING POWERFUL
Marvel denied us toddlers?
It's going to happen in the MCU
MCU > Comics
>She's literally billed as the strongest hero in Marvel
>>78587421
Whatever dude
Doctor Strange would shit all over her tits
>>78587421
This happens surprisingly often with women characters. Like how Sue Storm started being described as the most powerful member of the Fantastic Four (in the '90s) and then was described as more powerful than all her other teammates put together (in Waid's run). And let's not even get into talking about poor Scarlet Witch.
There's an overcompensating factor that makes writers/editors want to show that a woman character is awesome because she's UBER SUPER POWERFUL, even though it makes...

ARE WE THERE YET?
Is Blacksad a good comic or is it too furry?
>>78579818
It's a good comic. Most people who read it have no idea what a furry is.
It's a detective/crime drama comic where all the characters are also animals for no real reason.
>>78579818
>too furry?
Let me rephrase your question to be more accurate.
>Is Blacksad a good comic or am I too much of an insecure faggot?
To answer, the latter.
Why, I do believe it's time for some obscure Carmine Infantino comics!
But enough about me, how's your weekend shaping up?
I do like a cover story.
Thunderbolts had some amazing covers.

So where is the episode anyway? How long did you have this ready and waiting?
Second for Vella Moisia.

So is she a good comic writer or just eye candy?
Neither.
>>78613239
Yes
>>78613239
I think you posted the wrong picture.
Characters never allowed to be more than a punchline.
Pic couldn't be more relevant unless it was Worf himself.
>>78604866
I know life and death are a revolving door in the Marvel universe, but I thought Taskmaster was dead.
>>78604866
there was a time Gladiator was only ever used for this purpose
>>78604866
I usually don't bitch about jobbing but that moment left a sour taste in my mouth. One of Taskmaster's main draws is the fact he never outright jobs and is always a cagey opponent.
>yfw you remembered the killing joke is getting an animated adaptation this year
It'll all be shit if they don't get the Joker's psychedelic horror show perfect.
Too bad it'll have the typical cheap shit sterile artstyle. Poor Bolland.
