>there are people posting on this board RIGHT NOW who consider Geoff Johns a legitimately good, imaginative writer
Johns does a fine job for what he does. Sure there are better writers out there, but at least Johns cares about the characters and universe more so than other writers. Ironically, the best way to describe him is by comparing him to sugary breakfast cereal like Trix and whatnot. It's good to enjoy it every now and then, but too much at a time can get boring real fast and in the long run isn't that good for you.
The first hour was pretty good. Anyone else wish it didn't get fucked behind the scenes?
No, the first hour is still shit, it just looks good when compared to the second half.
>Still has the same teacher for some reason
>Presents his work at a damn science fair
>Things catchphrase is given dark implications
And so on.
>US: "Shut up, Sumo, or I'll fart on you!"
>UK: "Shut up, Sumo!"
CNUK doesn't approve of Chelsea's fart fetish.
>you will never be farted on by a little brown girl.
They could just fire zii
Isn't she busy shitting up the other comic about gay guys and it turns out she fucked all the gay guys and one of the gay guys is actually a reverse trap and they were having some long and drawn out discussion on properly assigning names to transgender people?
Boy these comics sure are fun!
Do Heroes do community service? Like picking up trash on the side of the highways? Why haven't I ever seen Flash run to poverty stricken areas and just start rebuilding shit? Why haven't I seen Bruce Wayne backflip a family a new home?
Am I the only one who thinks that Dark Knight's Bane is somehow better than Comic's Bane in terms of dialogue?
That's the first thing that got me hooked to the character.
Tom Hardy as Bane was GOAT. One of the few good parts of TDKR. The voice was weird but it had a ton of character. If not for /tv/'s Baneposting he would be remembered as one of the best capeshit movie villains.
Vote for your five favorite titles from the list, then post your results here:
For those who are wondering why certain results don't appear on the list. It's based off another poll in which people could choose whatever titles they wanted to. Then the poll was construced from 30 titles that got the most votes.
To keep the thread up post the titles you voted for and comment on other's tastes. Or post cartoon boobies.
I voted for ATHF and Wakfu
Dunno what does hat say about me.
Voted for ATHF and Beavis & Butthead
ITT: Characters who contribute nothing to their shows.
Oh I think you've posted the wrong image. Let me correct it for you, op
People are mad because all the nominees for the Angoulême Grand Prix were men. The thing that bothers me the most is Bendis being nominated
New issue of G.I. JOE A Real American Hero just came out today.
This is part 5 of the new/current arc.
Shit's been heating up and it looks like we've reached boiling point.
Let's give it a read.
This is ARAH #223.
(remember when tons of comics had triple digit issue numbers besides this, Invincible, and Walking Dead?)
AWESOME variant cover. Rock 'N' Roll is underrated as fuck.
If you're reading then don't hesitate to bump the storytime for others.
And here we go.
If you could teach a class on comics as literature what comics would you teach
I need suggestions
Nothing with superheroes.
Try reading actual fucking books for a change.
If you MUST include comics then the only things at that level are Carl Barks' Duck comics and that's literally it.
Seriously, he only had Jeff Lemire. All the other creative teams for him have been shit.
>i never fucking read Longbow Hunter: the post
What are your hopes for the latest season of American Dad?
