Sorry for not explaining or describing them, it's late, and I'm kinda busy with other stuff.
What are some good Fantasy non-cape comics? I really liked Lanfeust, but I can't find much stuff besides it.
I liked Fables, but stop after the adversary is defeated
Fables until the Dark man.
Some fantasy comics that I like:
Age of Bronze
Amethyst, Princess of Gemworld
Beautiful Darkness
Beauty
Cerebus the Aardvark
Duncan the Wonder Dog
Dungeon
The Encyclopedia of Early Earth
Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser
Frank
Groo the Wanderer
Orc Stain
The Rabbi's Cat
Through the Woods
Usagi Yojimbo
Valhalla
Any recommendation of Spiderman tier comics?
And when I say when I say "Spiderman tier" I mean comics that focus around the adventures of a hero trying to balance his school life and being a superhero.
The Amazing Spider-Man

Well of course, I want others.

Bump again senpai.
Do you think Spawn could have a comeback in this, the new age of superheroes in pop culture?
I think that, if Deadpool can prove the viability of R-rated superhero movies, it's pretty likely to happen
Spawn is ever locked in the gritty dark edge of the 90's.
He's likely to become a villain to gain any headway.
>>78847034
>viability of r-rated superhero movies
dude don't.. don't get my hopes up. we know that will never happen. hell the deadpool GAME was fantastic and nothing ever came of its existence.
>>78847089
that doesn't make sense. spawn is cool. it just aint happening and it certainly aint happening above pg-13
Nah, I like Spawn but I don't see it happening, the culture has shifted to the opposite...
Spawn was popular when people wanted darker and more extreme stuff, these days people want light hearted and comedic....hence the popularity of the MCU
Deadpool is edgy sure but he also is "funny", so he can walk both sides of things
That isn't to say Spawn couldn't do decent with a new movie or something, people would see it I think and he still has niche fans....but he wouldn't become a pop culture icon like he was in the 90s with tons...

>that one episode where /co/ has a family reunion with /aco/ and /mlp/.

>family reunion
I thought /mlp/ was the Umaru-Chan to /co/'s Oni-Chan.

Literally Reddit, the show.
>the episode where /pol/ tried to turn /news/ to the dark side.
I'm glad /news/ stayed a chill board.

>Leaves Disney with a popular show that is still people want more of to go to Fox and join the Simpsons-Family Guy fray.
Is this career suicide or a good choice?
Gravity Falls had one good season left, at least, and honestly needed it the way the plot's been rushed.
But he was burnt out and done with Disney, apparently, so staying for it might have been career suicide.
>>78846017
What I don't understand is why Alex Hirsh didn't go to Adult Swim with this new idea. Fox is not known for being a good choice.
>>78846389
adult swim is not exactly known for its brilliantly written programming. He can't risk that rick and morty is a fluke (in terms of being selected for AS)
Does this count as cheating?
>>78845597
For Kyle? Yes, I would call it cheating even though Kyle/Carol is terrible.
For the princess? Not really, it's part of the plan.
>>78845597
It's espionage.
>>78845672
Was falling in love part of her plan?
Is there any superhero who is supposed to be likable (ex. not Namor) but is bad in the sack?
It always feels like writers give their pet characters footlong dicks w/ marathon endurance or vaginas that could give their own swedish massage
>>78844301
Well desu most superpowers lend themselves to added perks during sex. I'd like to see a writer convince me that even with his agility, flexibility, super strength and super endurance than Spider-Man is shitty in bed. Likewise, you'd have a hard time convincing me that a guy who can vibrate any of his body and move at super speed with a refractory period that can probably be measured in seconds like the Flash wouldn't be able to please a woman.
>>78844521
>I'd like to see a writer convince me that even with his agility, flexibility, super strength and super endurance than Spider-Man is shitty in bed
Namor has all of that and he is canonically shitty in bed just because writers dont like him
Most comics are pretty much sexless. Good thing, since fanboys freak out over a guy just having a bulge. Cannot imagine how pathetic the reaction would be if they actually talked about or shown sex.
Whats your favorite comic/cartoon character combination /co/?
OPs personal favorite pic related
Darth Jones?
ONE more time!
Donald Trump CIA (this one is a /co/ stretch but CIA guy might make the cut)
and after this I give, maybe /co/ is just not that into amalgams
[spoilers]kinda looks like Nathon Fillion[/spoilers]
Was Zim the first character to ever do the whole "tiny guy with spider legs coming out of backpack to move around" thing?
I could have sworn i remember Dexter doing that on Dexter lab a few times.
Was there a character that did it before that? Besides maybe Doc Ock, who else uses long spindly legs to carry themselves around.
bump for interest
Teen titans had a guy like that. Which show come first?
>>78844212
ZIM came first. Debuted in 2001. The Teen Titans show debuted in 2003.
Can we have a thread to talk about this movie? This shit is amazing.
Which is best Dexter?
Best Mandark?
Was this the finale that the show deserved?
>>78843460
it really is a goddamn amazing piece of fantastimus. Even though it's full of a lot of weird nonsense (like the good future just magically appearing when the neurotomic protocore is reersed) it's just a generally great movie.. the twist ending revealing what the title TRULY meant is something I will never forget
>>78843460
it always creeped me out
Bearded Dexter is always best.
You all remember this right?
Sprite comics are all shit
All of them
I could never forget you, you were my gateway to the greater internet community.

But shit makes roses grow
Do you have any pet peeves in the animated world?
I don't know how to reach the animated world.
