ITT: The greatest moments in Spongebob history
Why didn't Little Lotta get any cartoons like other Harvey Comics characters?
Why are the characters so flat and one dimensional in the MCU? Tony could have been dealing with alcoholism and still had ptsd from new york that they glossed over in iron man 3. Rogers should have severe ptsd from world war 2 considering it just happened for him. Black Widow was always said to have some kind of troubled history and it was finally shown somewhat in ultron but her character is generally inconsistent among the movies. Hulk and Banner don't really ever get anything beyond some dialogue about 'the other guy' etc. etc.
Because the movies themselves are pretty one-dimensional, and make no bones about being so. They're not trying to be treatises on postwar trauma or the endless struggle between man and beast, they're trying to be superhero movies.
TAKE COVER, SHITS ABOUT TO GO DOWN.
>yfw The Peanuts Movie wasn't nominated for Best Animated Film
Anyone reading this?
Is it worth a shot even if I'm not a furry?
It is your typical Noir story, nothing so new except that the characters are animals.
Art is probaby the selling point of Blacksad, but I really wish that the women didnt look like some sort of mutant human in those comics.
Even though a screen adaptation of Saga would obviously be animated.
Don't give a fuck if he's supposed to be half asian.
So you guys might be able to help me with this. or at least let's discuss it
this is my favorite fucking superpower.. but when was it first depicted? Not just talking about freezing stuff but specifically freezing 'beams' of energy that clearly aren't liquid nitrogen or just shooting icicles out of a gun or anything like that. did Iceman do it first? did the original Mr Freeze in the 60s (when he was Dr. Zero or whatever?)?
in the meantime I'll post some more
As far as I know Minister Blizzard is the oldest ice villain out there, he showed up in 1944 according to Wikipedia. Though I'm not sure how his ice gun actually worked.
Captain Cold is 2 years older than Mr. Zero, and his gun is definitely a beam gun. There's also Icicle who is from the 40s and his powers are identical to icemans.
>Heroes Like None Other!
Time for an interlude now.
Let's get to the Mystery Men.
In their very own tales of thrills.
Which only lasted about a few issues.
Flaming Carrot Interlude #1: Mystery Men #1-4
And here we go...
Let's throw a bone for the people who recognize the movie more.
Oh, poor Apple she just wanted Raven all to herself.

I-I-It's the Holliday Girls! They're back!
ITT: Comic adaptations that are actually good.
Nosferatu by Ken Holewczynski and Rafael Nieves is great if you're a fan of the original film. But don't read the colour version.
Opinions on the post-Secret Wars status quo?
