What are some villains you were legitimately rooting for?
Considering all of her "evil" actions before the finale were off-screen and told to us by members of the rich family who were pretty much the only people in the EK who stood to lose from re-unification, I was hoping Bryke might have planned the greatest villain twist of all time.
But alas. Still rooted for her anyway because fuck Suyin.

Which currently airing Cartoon Network show is your favourite ?
>>79768943
Currently airing in CN i think it is Gumball
Adventure Time and Regular Show went to shit sadly( only for RS cause i hated AD). Still Clarence is pretty good so we'll see
>>79768943
Gumball is top notch. Steven Universe is great but too many hiatus. I drop RS and AT long ago. Haven't watched other. Samurai Jack when?

>Thomas the Tank Engine is now powered by fear
Who thought this was a good idea?
http://comicsalliance.com/palmiotti-conner-starfire-cancellation-interview/
>Jimmy Palmiotti: When we were offered Starfire over a year ago, Amanda and I committed to 12 issues total, nothing more and nothing less, and with the series ending with us. We worked out the year in advance, and now we are writing the last couple of issues. Nothing has changed for us on any level. What they’ll do with the character after us is in the hands of the people at DC Comics and we are good with whatever they choose.

I remember a time when people worked on comics for hundreds of issues...

Of course, DC could always decide to continue the series with a new creative team after Palmiotti/Conner abandon ship, like they did with Power Girl. And it could end up sucking eggs, like what happened with Power Girl. But with Rebirth timed for approximately the same time as Starfire's first-year end that seems doubtful?

Amethyst is the only gem that actually has any loyalty to earth because it's where she was born. Garnet only cares about her lesbian sex and Pearl only cares about being a slave to Rose.
This is a better superhero movie than everything recent except for Captain America 1, GotG, X-Men First Class and the highly underrated Iron Man 2. If you disagree you don't actually care about superhero movies and aren't qualified to have opinions on them.

It wasn't. This is a bizarre meme opinion that has become popular, but TWS was a worse film than CA 1 in pretty much every way barring maybe two action sequences. Plotwise there is no fucking contest.

Deus Ex Children's Crusade #1
Anyone?
Anothe cover
I wonder how many lines from the first game will get spouted off in this thread?
Okay, so I just finished all the available Uber Comics and I have to be honest, it's the first time a comic has held my attention for some time.
I'm loving the over the top violence and even occasional nudity but the story kept me coming back and I read in all fairly quickly.
So what do you recommend to fill the void for now?
In exchange I'll dump some of the alternate covers that I cleaned up, removed logos from, and some compilations wallpapers that I made.
Covers first then walls. Some indication of the the issues these are taken from is in the file names.
All feature Sieglinde.

I think this guy has potential to be a great Superman adversary. I hope they use him well in more stories. IMO, this guy has potential to be a top 5 Supes opponent.

Remember that time Galactus showed up in the DC universe and owned Darkseid's shit even when he had his whole world backing him up?
>The official Twitter feed of Cartoon Network PR confirmed a Ben 10 reboot series that would follow the adventures of Ben, Gwen, Max Tennyson, and Kevin. It will include additional new aliens on his Omnitrix. It is set to premiere on Cartoon Network International in 2016 and in North America in 2017.[2][4]
Will it be good /co/? I loved the show years ago so I have high hopes for it.

I wish there were more cartoons that were morally ambiguous.
Especially in the action genre where you find a nauseating overabundance of the very simple guideline of Manichean Good vs. Evil. The good guys are actuated by a desire to save the world from the bad guys who always personify some vile dimension of humanity. Greed. Avarice. Pride. Vengeance.
The good guys are always good, except maybe the one episode where they're not and in a cliche redemption story they learn the error of their ways and are accepted back into the fold to fight for justice, freedom,...

You've got adult cartoons like Bojack Horseman, Moral Orel, and Venture Brothers that examine morality a lot. What makes a good person, what makes a good person with flaws, and what makes a complete dickbag (damage optional) that likes to think he's one of the other two is a big subject in more pensive shows.

1. read more comics that aren't written by the Big Two
and 2. read more manga

To be fair, that IS part of the fucked up future, so we can take that as a sign the writers know exactly what they're doing.
It's not even a meme anymore. It literally is The Felicity show guest starring Green Arrow.
The dark ages are hardly over for Green Arrow Fans. It has but only just begun.
Will action cartoons ever make a comeback?

No they will not.
The last action cartoon to get a run was Korra.
We're getting new Samurai Jack.
Maybe in another decade Genndy will somehow get us another season of Titan.

I hope not.
