ITT: references in cartoons that the target audience wouldnt get
I'll start off
This katamari reference in chowder
This whole episode that was just references of a band that ended 20 years before this child cartoon aired in 2001
yeah i kind of fucked up
I thought katamari came out like in 2001 but it came out in 2004 and that chowder ep was in 2007
but still, its a reference about a 3 year old game in a childrens show
I'm mostly an anime waifu drawfag, I love to draw anime girls.
But lately, I'm heavily interested into learning to draw cartoon girls and comic girls.
It's there any artist that tries to mix those three styles?
pic related is some style I would love to learn to draw.
I dunno, I think maybe would be like panty and stocking and some stuff from butch hartman and grim tales.
haven't done much, but I just wonder how will it be.
I begged you to look at mine first
>I BEGGED YOU
What did he mean by this /co/?
Would you care for a bite of my Vengelerstrasse bar? I also have a bag of marzipan JoyJoys! (mit iodine!)
i wonder what any of that tasted like. i would take a lick of your flavor bar, uter. also did he say flavorbar or flavorwax? the internet can't decide
what went wrong?
It's well-made and gets awards. McCracken and Faust just set their success bar so high with PPG, only to later outdo it hundredfold with MLP, that we expected something much more world-shattering than WoY.
Daphne all the way.
I would pick Velma only if it was Cardellini's version.
Numeric/Pixelator subs just went up.
Stone Heart (origin pt2) airs in Quebec tomorrow and Jackady/Simon Says on Sunday.
Miraculous Ladybug French Ep21 airs Sunday 3:40am PST.
Tune into stream if it's not Numeric:
Stone Heart (origin pt2) airs in Quebec tomorrow
Do you have an specific time?
Also what the hell is with Quebec's schedule? Does this mean there's already a French Version of Origins pt1?
What does /co/ think of Danger Mouse?
It is a fantastic show. A revival done absolutely fucking right.
They even got Duckula in a good mix between his original villainous ways and his goofy attention seeking spin-off personality. They just have to add Igor and Nanny and I will be completely satisfied.
Uh, guys, what the fuck just happened?
Is it canon that deadpool can blow his brains out and recover fully including his memory?
Yes, all deadpool's cells are souch cells, so if just one exist he can recover fully. He never expect to kill himself with a gun, its more like a short way to meet death. He need to be completly obliterated to die, once he'd expect the hulk to do it but his plan didn't work and the "fight" he was expecting wasn't here, the hulk just blow his head to stop him to nuke a state.
I'm a sucker for super heroes getting their asses kicked by deities. please tell me you have more.
During the 1940's Disney couldn't do full animated features due to problems of budget and of WWII causing them to lose animators to the military as well as having to divest their attention to making propaganda for the government.
Thus, instead we got the Package films: Saludos Amigos and The Three Caballeros (which are a little separate as they were part of the Good Neighbor Policy), Make Mine Music, Fun and Fancy Free, Melody Time, and The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad.
Have you seen these movies? Do you like them at all? Do they have any merit...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Three Caballeros is one of my fondest childhood memories. The ending especially is such an acid trip that I love it. The Mickey and the Beanstalk section of F&FF and all of Ichabod and Mr. toad are also great.
MMM and Melody Time are kind of meh though.
I have never understood which JLA members represent the: Magician, Survivor, Knight, Monster, Reporter, Witch, and Escape Artist.
I figure Batman could be the Knight, Monster, or Escape Artist;
Superman could be the Survivor or the Reporter...
Magician and Witch? Zatanna isn't on Morrison's JLA is she?
They don't represent the JLA members, they represent each member or Grant Morrison's Seven Soldier of Victory.
>The Knight is Shining Knight
>The Reporter is Manhattan Guardian
>The Magician is Zatanna
>The Witch is Klarion
>The Escape Artist is Mister Miracle
>The Survivor is The Bulleteer
>The Monster is Fankenstein
Can someone fill me in on why Cap is a really old man now?

Why do the writers insist on perpetuating this creepy bullshit?
