St. Patricks Day Edition!
Well, this thread went well.
As much as I love these threads, what’s the purpose of having one on St Patrick’s Day?
If anything I would’ve waited till Easter. Think about it, Easter is a holiday based around the concept of a man rising from the grave. It’s perfect!
I’ll bump this thread just to see what happens, but I really think Easter’s the better option.

>I would’ve waited till Easter.
Fucking no
Wait until fucking halloween. We get all of october and some time around Christmas to do this. It's plenty of fucking fun then. Stop trying to do it again because it makes it less special.
>>80832160
Don't go into Christmas next time either. That has its own seasonal waifus too.
Who would win in a fight to the death?
Is that spiderman in a red flashy suit vs a big green goblin?
>>80829050
Miles vs Ultimate Green Goblin.
>>80829056
Who is miles?
I'd bet on the ultimate green goblin. He looks badass
I haven't watched this movie since it came out when I was a kid, I remember liking it, how does it hold up?
Better than Ghost Rider
I rewatched it recently. Some effects are good, other are spectacular in how awful they look. I remember as a kid I loved the way they made the cape look, but you see it now, it's just crummy.
Make up work on Spawn and the clown is top notch, when he turns into the Violator and it's actually a giant puppet, as opposed as a computer effect, it still looks solid.
Plot makes no sense.
Apparentely they run out of budget while making it, so that's why some of the effects are unfinished.
My suggestion: watch the TV series instead.
My favorite part was at the end, when Spawn confronts the devil. All that build up about Spawn leading his army and whatnot and Spawn just ends up decimating literally all of them with a sweep of his eye beams. And that's it.
I can't fucking believe this episode.
After all the repostings of the image where she flashes her class, I had to fucking watch it. Where did the times go?
She even wore her bookbag over her chest because she was upset she was flat. That's a fucking relation to when kids had to hide their boners or some shit
I didn't think Disney would've done this, somehow I missed it.
Now go watch the episode of Brace Face where she wears the inflating bra. After that consider watching some As Told by Ginger.
>>80827793
Might as well, I'm fucking laughing my ass off I missed all this shit in my down time in this era.
What are those episodes if you don't mind? I could find the Brace Face one from Google easily I'm assuming, but I haven't even seen any /co/ pics of Ginger relating to anything like this.
>>80827738
so pepper ann thead?
This film was intentionally made just to be considered "the super hero movie with less efford in history"?
Fantastic four 1994 was intentionally made to be considered "the super hero movie with less efford in history", but at least had a reason to be made.
There is no target audience, there is no relevance, theres no development, theres no real jokes or not even real lazy jokes.
>>80827328
what the fuck is efford and where is it present in other superhero films
is this eh ford?
>>80827328
the joke is the same back when bruce lee played the role in the short lived tv show
the asian guy does the work the white guy gets the credit. black people didnt make the rail roads through the desert in america and neither did white people but it probably wasnt in your history text book in school
asians are hired by your companies to design your products because america hasnt be able to produce enough people with the needed credentials to do the jobs
How the fuck is Green Hornet a superhero much less a street level hero
The vigilantes from kickass hold more significance than these fucking losers
Watched pic related recently and enjoyed it. What should I be watching next?
Looking for adult animation, in particular things like Heavy Metal that go balls out with the 70's cheesy psychedelic sci-fi/fantasy. Preferably stuff that would be go to watchstoned
Ralph Bakshi's Wizards and Fire And Ice. Fritz The Cat if you want simple humour. Rock & Rule is ok, not as adult orientated though.
>>80827251
This pretty much
Black Cauldron is still a Disney flick but it has that weird dark 70s vibe
Just dont watch Heavy Metal 2000 for any reason
>>80827251
>>80827274
Starchaser if you don't mind a near blatant Star Wars ripoff.
HERE COMES PJ SPARKLES

Alright, OP. I just watched this, and I kind of like it. It's like an episode of the Care bears where the just keep making everything worse.
>>80827028
I commend you for sitting through it, it's pretty shitty. Not anything much worse than some similar cartoons at the time, like Care Bears, but definitely not good.
I never knew that shitty doll had an animated tie-in. How awful.
I've heard people call this book patrician. And say it is misunderstand, and falsely criticized. Why is that?
>>80825901
Because all those things are true. It's Frank Miller's Batman taken to something approaching its logical conclusion, with all the Milleresque overblown noir insanity intact. If you're looking for Batman Adventures, this ain't it. But if you're looking for a Batman book actually willing to take chances and play fast and loose with 75-year old continuity that's almost always held as sacrosanct, this book'll give you a good ol' time.
Personally, it's in my top ten...

I wouldn't call it patrician, but I would say it is falsely criticized sometimes.
Like people still think he was going to kill Dick's parents when it literally says in the comic that Bruce didn't even want him until years from now, there were other candidates, and he just felt responsible since he was there when they died.
>>80825901
It's falsely criticized because at the time of it's release everyone took it seriously.
I don't think it's as amazing as /co/ seems to think it is now but it's not really that bad. Had some great moments though.
Why is he the single most hated intellectual property DC has? Not the fans, of course, but I mean the writers and the executives.
What is it about J'onn J'onzz that makes people at DC's blood boil with rage and vision go red? It's legitimately frustrating to me that we'll likely never see him on the big screen and that his role in comics has been essentially reduced to that of an extra.
Please explain it to me, /co/.
>>80825856
>his role in comics has been essentially reduced to that of an extra.
except he had a large role in the previous JLA book and currently has a solo
>>80825883
Ah, I haven't actually been following recently. Forgive my ignorance. How's the solo?
>>80825856
Williams Manhunter ruined the character for me, he has very few solid standalone comics.
The better question would be, why can't he ever be written right?
Is Season 3 worth watching?
>>80825811
You kidding me? Yes OP, Jesus christ.
>>80825811
Well, if you have to ask...
>>80825811
Season 3 is the point of the entire show.
If you've been on the fence about it til now, season 3 will force you to make a decision.
Why do adults who love cartoons not as stigmitized as the traditional weeboo?
>>80824831
Because if you like Western cartoons, you're just a childish person. If you like anime, you're a childish person AND a traitor to your homeland.
>>80824831
Because comics don't have stories about raping children
>>80824831
because everyone watches cartoons at some point in their life. most adults these days have never really seen an anime
More comics like these.

You would be amazed what people don't notice.
>>80824111
He also parts his hair on the opposite side.
>>80824111
Has very different posture, too. Superman has his head forward, he's ready, going at you, Clark is sort of slack shouldered and wimpy.
>>80824111
m8, a bunch of people can't recognize that chick from 500 days of summer without bangs covering her face.
I'm sure Clark can cover his ass while looking like a mild-mannered reporter.
