The fuck was up with her hair?
>>84558591
It's supposed to be cornrows leading to her normal hair. Imagine said photo only instead of the rest of her hair being cornrowed, she left it undone.
It was a style really popular in the early 90s, which is when the show aired.
You're welcome.
don't talk shit about my waifu

this stuff interests me, but since it's practically 100% gone, there's not really any way it could ever be found :(
>character says a made up name
>scene later shows it exists
an other examples of this /co/? i cant seem to find anything about it on tvtropes....
The earliest instance of Simpsons doing it that I can recall was in The Last Temptation of Homer.

Bacon & Egg is a long running comic that's been printed in the swedish phantom magazine, then had it's own during th 90's, and it's currently running in the herman hedning magazine, it also shares a universe with some other comics made by Norrman and some other scandinavian comic authors, though that was mainly a thing in the 90's. The length of each story is in the 8-10 page range. (this also goes for the other featured comics).
This particular story was published in the last of the 3 magazines during 2009, this is my first try at editing...

Who are your favorite obscure/underused villains? Spider-Man and Batman alone have enough z-list villains to fill several rogue's galleries.
I'm fond of the Superior Foes team, naturally. It made great use of a throwaway Slott character (Overdrive), a throwaway Brubaker character (Beetle) and a bunch of established spidey villains. Pretty much the perfect way to use that kind of villain, I think.
Man I hate that art style, why are they all drawn as if someone is blowing smoke in their eyes or they're strung out from heroin? With the exception of Goblin, who appears to be on cocaine.
Fancy Dan
Spot is one of these villains that should be fighting someone on B or even A list but because his concept is bit weird he only show up once in a few years.

Only took Rainmaker a little over a day to take it down. The original video was public on Vimeo for almost 3 months and as soon as it's posted to facebook, they have someone make it private/delete it. When I reupload to my YouTube channel, they don't ask me to take it down, they just ruin my account with a copyright strike. I'm surprised they've got one of their unpaid interns checking on the Revival.
Clearly the company is run by fucking idiots...

this is pretty autistic

>autistic
Because I'm annoyed that a company is too stupid to realize they're getting their property promoted, despite the fact that I hate what they're doing with it?
ITT: OP tries to understand why he's being picked on. No one cares.

>Diana have a distinct face and not the Frank Cho looking face I'm weirdly used to.
Are the female characters from the big two supposed to have facial differences?
Is the art directors so bad that they let artist get away drawing them however they want or are the female characters...

Then it goes back to this >>84558065

non-white facial features are ugly
Wassup, /co/
Could you kndly give me some critique on this?
It's a rough animatic for the first half ofan upcoming short i'm making with friends.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CzSASE7u7RQ
I hope you got some stellar animation lined up, because that was some pretty cliche action.
>00:28
Keep the shot distance, but get rid of that grin. And instead make her concentrated on her task ahead. As in heavy breathing and facial reaction, like this runner for exp.
>>84557889
Have the little spider in the beginning cling to his tunic for the duration of the video. It can climb to his shoulder, chest, or arm if the shot or his actions demand it, and he never takes notice of it. When he wakes up IRL, the same little spider is actually crawling on his arm!
>mfw people tell me that earlier Simpsons had worse animation than the modern Simpsons
>>84557820
By worse, people mean jankier and uglier, not necessarily technically inferior.
Early Simpsons wasn't afraid to go off model and that have it such a nice look to it. It didn't last for too long, but it was only after the animation process became wholly digital did the animation (while more on model) become lifeless and robotic.
groening always hated how melty everything in that episode was
>>84557820
It didn't have worse animation; it had crappy design.
When the design of the show started to become consistent was when the writing also happen to get stronger, and that's what people remember.
Why, I do believe it's time for some early Silver Age!
But enough about me, what've you got planned for the week ahead?
Normally, I'd cycle through a few more artists before going right back to Carmine Infantino, but given that this comic codified The Silver Age of Comics, I figured I could bend my own rules for a change.
We've got plenty of full issues to storytime, so let's get to it!
When did Batman become such a beefcake?
Does a muscular Batman even make sense? He should be lean and agile, not have a physique of a bodybuilder.
>>84557363
Have you ever seen a gymnast before? They're fucking ripped.
>>84557453
They're muscular but they're not THAT ripped, they just have extremely low body fat. Batman's arm girth in that panel is like 50cm, that's pro-bodybuilding tier.
>>84557469
Nah they can be pretty big.

Right out of the kitchen cabinet with this one.
What do you think should be done in order to make the X-Men series interesting again?
I think they need to get away from the whole analog for oppressed minority angle that they've used since the series inception and do something completely different. Have them all exiled to another dimension or deep space or some shit and not have to deal with fighting to protect mutants from extinction mainly because their are no humans around so they just have to look out for themselves.
Of course this would never be approved by editorial or the hardcore fanbase because...

They should let bigots decide what they can and can't write.
I want to see them just leave the planet for good and become space nomads. Like, after all this time, clearly Chuck's dream is a hot Ziploc of puke. Just go take care of each other where you'll be appreciated.
