Is Amazing Spider-Man Vol 4 good? I've enjoyed vol. 1 & 2 and want to know if I should start reading it.
Also is it a tie-in to any other runs?
>>80921070
it's not what you think in terms of spiderman. He becomes Tony stark, and the writers are trying to make peter irrelevant and no longer the everyday person and turn him into that lotto winner that everyone hates, and make miles the new everyday spiderman because bendis wants his legacy to be the PC legacy.
the books themselves it just isn't spiderman. Peter has all the answers now and is fixing everything with money. I can't wait till this is retconned.
>>80921070
ties into iron man because MJ is now bitter all of a sudden because bad things happen to peter and it hurts her and it's all his fault.
also deadpool and avengers till he quits, again.

What about Vol 3 (after Superior, which I've been avoiding because Kamala Khan shit)? Is that any better?
Why are almost all of the best female superheroes created by men? I can't really think of a great sci fi or fantasy female protagonist created by a woman. Are men better at writing female power fantasies than actual women?
Girls don't read comic books unless it's fucking Archie, okay?
>>80918686
Because superheroes are intrinsically aspirational and men are the only ones who actually desire to better themselves through profound strife and challenge.
>>80918686
Men have consistently purchased this shit and therefore what we consider the best female characters have been created by men for their audience (other men). I imagine there have been plenty of female created characters out there, it is also possible most people just never gave a shit about them or bothered to remember them.
>"You know what I did this morning? I played the voice of a toy. Some terrible robot toys from Japan that changed from one thing to another. The Japanese have funded a full-length animated cartoon about the doings of these toys, which is all bad outer-space stuff. I play a planet. I menace somebody called Something-or-other. Then I'm destroyed. My plan to destroy Whoever-it-is is thwarted and I tear myself apart on the screen."

What a fucking cunt. I was always blown away with his smug, superior stance on Transformers. You willingly signed on to be involved with the project. You took a paycheck for something you apparently despised from your great artistic pedestal. You are a fucking whore.
>>80918720
It's the pea commercial that got me. I don't care that he made "The greatest movie ever" Do your fucking job. Your not the director on the pea commercial. You took the money do what your told.
What does /co/ think of pic related?

I loved the idea of it, but by the end of the film I wanted something else about other characters. The concept is awesome, but spend more time at Sugar Rush than anything else. The video game hub world was more charming than that, but we see so little of it. It's like they were close to giving me exactly what I wanted and then took a wrong turn, ending up somewhere unexpected, but it was a good ride.
Better than BH6 and Frozen, but not as good as Zootopia.
I'm Irish. The Irish are horrible. But as a designated representative of the terrible race, we welcome Gogo.

We can't bring back the Awesomeness of 80's cartoons beause they were largely a reflection of the culture of 80's America. You can't have one without the other.

You know, for a movie that came out in 2002, the animated parts of Stuart Little 2 hold up very well. I know live-action/animated hybrids aren't well liked on /co/, but what did you all think about the first two movies?
>>80911643
How much porn would there be of that bird if the movie came out today?
>>80911988
Is that a rhetorical question?
I guess /co/ doesn't have much of an opinion at all about these movies. C'est la vie.

The Justice League Animated series was release in 2016 instead of 2001. How well do you or /co/ respond to this show if that happens?

So Victor Stone is slated for JL and the studio is uncertain how to go about a solo movie. In my mind a Cyborg movie has the risk of being another 2014 Robocop situation. Question is, what do you do with him? Would the villain be Grid or AMAZO? Do you just make it a Titans or Metal Men movie? I mean theres not a whole lot to work with
Robocop.
>>80911355
Cyborg wont get a movie, the titans will
>>80911355
When are they starting or when do they have the release scheduled? Because of his solo comic now he already has at least one villain specific to Cyborg they could use. I thought it was amusing...or sad and worrisome in that interview with Chris Terrio, because he went into all this research he was doing for the movie and all the little aspects he wanted to tie in to the comics and he had this insight on the flash and and aquaman and Supes and bates conflict but had jack to say about Cyborg. In fact, Terio is this...

Tim Seeley will stay on that book.
>[Katie]Kubert then turned to talk about the delayed Blade series, and they show pages by Afua Richardson. Logan Faerber was the originally announced artist for this, but she doesn't mention the reason for the switch.
>"I couldn't be more pleased to have [Afua] part of this. Enjoy," said Kubert.

Fine with me
We've gotten canon busty Marge Simpson and canon buff Marge Simpson.
I'm surprised there's been no canon fat Marge yet.
