Why was Superman's biggest dream in FTMWHE to live in a Krypton that never exploded with made up people? Why not a life where he's a regular human without superpowers living happily with his beloved ones he actually met? He didn't grow up in Krypton.
If there was a place that played such a major part of your life but you never got to see it, you'd probably dream about it too. His dream was the comprise between the normal life he wanted and the kryptonian life he always wondered about.
His biggest dream was that his parents never died. If you follow from that seed then he never leaves Krypton
It makes for a more fun story, that's why, especially when you can see how Jor-el feels after being btfo years ago. The JLU adaption does add his Lois/Lana hybrid wife though.
Nickelodeon was the best channel in the 90's and early 2000s. This fact can not be disproved nor can it be challenged.

What happened to Nickelodeon? The big three cartoon channels slumped in the mid to late 2000s but Disney and CN were able to pull themselves back together with shows like Phineas & Ferb, Gravity Falls, Adventure Time, and Over the Garden Fall.
Nick has been nothing but Spongebob marathons and live-action shows for a decade.

The real question is what happened to make them good for that brief while
i mean this is a channel that basically said 'fuckit let's air some canadian reruns i dunno fuck you whatever' and then proceeded to film a bunch fo shit in fucking universal studios florida.
Just.. somehow they lucked out and everything was fantastic. for a few brief, wonderful years. end of the 80s through about 95 or so. after that, eh... you might as well just stick to terrestrial stations until CN's good era started...

Late reconstructing.
Nickelodeon has always been the network for it's time. 90's was certainly 90's abeit some 80's themes sometimes.
After a certain point in the 2000s Nickelodeon changed their format to still stay with the times, which meant the shows changed, I guess they saw CN doing it's live action stuff before, and Disney doing its live action stuff still today, so they thought it would be the next big theme.
That's really the only way I can look at it.
Magneto is the most badass mutant and that's a fact.
Squirrel Girl is the most badass mutant and that's a fact.

OK I am in the midst of re-watching TDKR animated films and re-reading parts out of the book and... I'm kind of at a loss to who Miller was intending to identify with politically.
He is obviously very against the Reagan Administration and apparent American Imperialism (aka the need in keeping Communism from ruling to world).
Which is obviously a very anti conservative point of view.
But at the same time he demonizes liberal social justice fucks who endlessly defend murderers, rapist, even child killers long before they defend those that selflessly defend...

No is not Your problem is that you are thinking in the dumb ass american limits.
Soviet russia was CONSERVATIVE, Cuba is Conservative. Left and Liberal are not synonyms, right and conservative aren't either.
The story is anti-establishment, and batman position is both Anarkist and Fascist.

Just started it tonight. He seems great so far.
In quick scenes, he seems fine. But when he gets to talking a lot, i hate it. It seems like he's just doing Shane from the Walking Dead. I'm only about 5 episodes in though, maybe he gets better? Everything else about it (sans his face i guess) seems on point
Does this happen in The Walking Dead comics?

If that's Dixon, no. He was made purely for the show. Glenn was killed by baseball bat in the comic though.
Are they actually killing off Moneymaker Dixon?

Most people tend to pin the movie that started the "Disney Renaissance" that dominated the 1990's as starting with 1989's Little Mermaid. Do you agree with this? Do you think it started earlier (ie, with Oliver and Company or Great Mouse Detective?) Or do you not start it until later? How do you feel the Disney movies of the early 90's hold up? Were they part of your childhood? If so, are you able to view them without nostalgia goggles? How do the most recent Disney movies hold up to these Classics of 25 years ago or so?
I'd say GMD was the real start, but Oliver and Company really wasn't that good, so it's tough to say. Mermaid was definitely the big hit that reallly put Disney back on the map though.
All the early 90's movies are beloved classics that still hold up, but I think I might be biased since I was really young when they came out. But I still think even if I were an adult in the early 90's I'd still love them.
I always forget that Rescuers Down Under came after The Little Mermaid and is technically part of the renaissance. Down Under to me feels more like a forgotten gem than a classic.
First official stills are up. First trailer coming wendsday.

What hero or threat ranking would /co/ related characters (including Marvel and DC) have in the One Punch Man universe?
>Daredevil: Rank A - His superb combat and situational analysis make him great at taking on high ranking human criminals and capable of taking on low level monsters, but he likely lacks the power (and possibly the mindset) to do any lethal damage to a decent monster
>Finn the Human: Low Rank S - He may not have the highest fighting capabilities or durability but he has taken down God level threats,...
