I used to laugh at this character when I was a kid, then I realised when I was older and as the show got worse - doesn't he exist as a strawman to indirectly attack criticism of the show and make the writers think they can do no wrong?
>>84312468
Well originally he was just a stereotype of comic nerds. Eventually he became a parody of critics but I don't htink he makes the writers think they can do no wrong. I think their complacency and inability to be cancelled regardless of what they do makes them think they can do no wrong.

Has there ever been an episode where Jeff lashes out against psuedo-nerds who are only liking the hobby because it is trendy?
Was The Jetsons movie any good?

Yeah. Astro finally sucked on George's balls after wanting to for so long.
YOU AND ME
I don't remember it being any good.
How can he not know who the Ninja is when he's constantly spying on everyone?
Ninja magic.
I wish there was more love for this show

It's a real shame we'll never know what the new ancient evil was going to be.

That doesn't even make any sense.
Because AGU was a pile of shit.
Preteens acting like high school seniors, what the fuck man.
Doom and Stark as brothers seems like the easy way out. If so, what do the records mean?

That's not Anger
Disgust was the best though
>>84311104
Are you crazy? Sadness was obviously the best.
Okay /co/, who did it best?
Flintstones was the only one I cared about reading but it was pretty good. About what I expected from Russell after Prez and I'm glad he delivered.

Flintstones > Future Quest = Scooby Apocalypse > Wacky Raceland
>>84310721
Coincidentally, that's the opposite order of how much I was interested in them.
Yaaaay.

You can tell he's new to writing comics but it's not downright bad yet
hey christopher priest wrote about his upcoming deathstroke series
http://lamerciepark.com/comics/deathstroke/
some highlights
>Although its feature set is manic violence, Deathstroke is actually a family drama falling short of a Shakespearean tragedy starring Slade Wilson as an ersatz King Lear, his ex-wife Adeline as Lady Macbeth, and Wintergreen as Prospero from The Tempest. Within this triangle are three souls: Grant the Evil Son, Joseph the Good Son, and Rose, who more or less weaves lanes on the Good Guy/Bad Guy Autobahn. The deeply...

Oh wow he's written quite a bit
>>84309967
>>Fans familiar with Deathstroke should note we haven’t changed the series continuity so much as we have streamlined it a bit, creating what I call a composite history from events which originally took place years apart. Deathstroke has a long and complicated history of cast members dying and being resurrected and changing in various ways. I really prefer my series not be focused on reconciling or explaining all of the various past versions of the premise but instead stand on its own as...

What does /co/ think of Camp Lazlo?
I thought it had a bumpy start but it actually got pretty great as it went on, especially when secondary characters like Sampson became a lot more prominent.
THE GRAND LEGUME
THE GRAND LEGUME
THE GRAND LEGUME
Squirrel Scouts were the best. Shame /co/ has dumped Patsy in favor of the stupid giraffe girl.
>mfw Lumpus is revealed to have been a deranged imposter the entire series
Who's stronger, Superman or The Hulk?
Superman, of course
Superman is stronger than base Hulk, but Hulk can get stronger the angrier he gets, and as far as I know, has no upper limit to his anger or strength.
>>84309603
both are plot dependent so whoever the story needs to win
Just wondering, what are /co/'s opinions on what the best Superman is? Between the Boy Scout, law-abiding, pacifist Superman and angry, overpowered, badass Superman; which one do you prefer? Personally, I'm more attached to Boy Scout Superman because I always think of him as more of a symbol of what a hero should be. Kind, loving, hopeful, and honest. All-Star Superman and What's So Funny About Truth, Justice, and the American Way represent this best desu.
>>84309566
Yep. That right there. Him being totally at ease w/ himself, not needing to pose and flex. All-Star as well as Moore's Supreme are best Superman.
>>84309566
Boy scout, he doesn't impose his strength on others because he's stronger than us. He uses it to help people and thats that, he has no ulterior motive no desire to become some amazing messiah to bring people forward. He'd like it if people would follow his example but he prefers to show not tell.
>>84309626
I always intended to read up Moores' superman but never had the follow through. How highly would you recommend it?
>>84309733
>I always intended to read up Moores' superman but never had the follow through. How highly would you recommend it?
Well he has a couple Superman proper stories which are pretty great, Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow, a finale of sorts for Silver Age Supes, as well as For the Man Who Has Everything, a nice Trinity story.
But I was referring to his run on Supreme, which is thinly veiled Superman. It's brilliant, really plays like a longer All Star. Celebrates...
