>Wonder Woman, Superman, and Batman
>This consistent trio is often depicted in comics
Why is this considered the go-to DC Comics team? I mean...what does Wonder Woman actually provide here?
Superman is enormous physical strength and incorruptible moral fiber. Batman, despite having no powers, is pure logic, creativity, intelligence, and discipline. Superman and Batman compliment one another perfectly and cover one another's innate weaknesses. Wonder Woman doesn't really provide anything that...

if anything Batman is superfluous
Wonder Woman's lasso alone is worth all of Batman's intelligence and logic and sleuthing and whatever else he could possibly provide while being completely physically overmatched

>Why is this considered the go-to DC Comics team?
It's about seniority, not about some grand idea of "purpose". They're the three Golden Age heroes whose books were never canceled or reimagined in the Silver Age or thereafter. The Flash, the Green Lantern, Aquaman, etc., they were all heavily altered, becoming entirely new characters. The Trinity endured much as they'd always been.

ITT: Television networks that suddenly, unexpectedly became very shitty the moment humanity entered 2006
What happened in '06?
>>81224528
I don't know.
>>81224528
Not OP, but it's been in ownership of Viacom since 06. Nick started getting horrible the second MTV had their grubby mitts on it, surprise surprise :^)
Is Nickelodeon dying?
>Nickelodeon
You mean the Spongebob Network?

It died a long time ago anon.

this is seriously sad
ITT:We write horrible plots for a family guy episode.
I'll start.
>Episode opens with Brian courting a girl at a bar.
>It turns south quickly as Brian makes some dumb snarky comment about the girl's large breasts resulting in her splashing her drink in his face.
>Cut to Brian arriving home.
>Complains that females are supper jaded.
>Peter agrees as Louis wouldn't let him ride the mechanical horse...

>Brain answers annoyed saying that didn't.

Is this an actual episode?
ITT : Fuck you i like it.
I still haven't seen it.
Olaf was a frankly unnecessary part of the movie that was designed to appeal to the Minion crowd. The movie would've been much better without him and his bullshit.
There are some characters like Mimic and Lifeguard and Morph who I don't expect writers to bother with because they're not important, never have been, and have made no impact on the readership, right? But man, there's a LOT of important X-Men characters who have been allowed to just slip between the cracks post-Secret Wars who we literally do not know the whereabouts of in a world where just standing in the wrong spot can kill a mutant.
And yeah, I know, we're supposed to believe Cyclops is dead, but there's obviously some twist coming, so he...

Let's talk about how bad of a person SCOTT SUMMERS was and how he did that thing that CHANGED EVERYTHING.

Mimic and Morph were great in Exiles. Granted they were alternate versions.
So what does /co/ think of Rango?
Who wants to watch uglyass lizards?
Lizard fuckers?
>>81222526
It's completely great
Slightly too much toilet humour, otherwise fantastic. That Flight of the Valkyries chase scene complete with exploding bats is the funnest thing I've seen in any movie in years.
Who draws the best women and why is it Kenneth Rocafort?
best supes?

Reeve will always be best Supes.
But god damn if I don't want Cavill to fuck me through a wall.

why dont movies have multiple directors filming parts that fit their strengths?
why do they leave an entire film up to one man?
a movie (such as a cape film) should be written and directed by several people... not just one voice
>>81221324
That's retarded as fuck. You should stick to reading capeshit and keep your mongoloid opinions to yourself
