Anyone else read this gem of a comic?
Bumperino
Oh yes, I'm inpatient for the next issue, the threads we have for it are a lot of fun.
>>81593366
No. What's it about?
Do you liek aquaman?
>>81593349
I only like that first aquaman. although the second and third one are slightly less shitty than the other four
>>81593463
But do you liek the character?
>>81593496
yes
why was pic related the comfiest simpsons episode ?
>>81593342
Why did you phrase your assertion in the form of a question?
I actually hate this episode.
>>81593342
>getting stuck in the middle of nowhere with no money
>comfy
What's wrong with you?
>>81595597
I liked it. But mostly because it was from the time when Bart was still a brat and you could take joy from his suffering. It also has a very cute Homer and Lisa bonding story line.
You are all FUCKING PLEBS. Not a single one of you know SHIT about ANYTHING here. I bet if I asked whether Doctor Manhattan would win against Galactus, YOU ALL WOULD GO WITH GALACTUS. Fuckers, you don't even know anything about Watchmen, and you don't know shit about what Dr. M can do.
Not a single one of you even know how powerful EU Luke Skywalker really is. I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't even know the difference between EU and Canon universes. I bet you can't even tell who these characters are that I'm about to list.
Exar...

But Doc Manhattan is a low-tier reality warper who couldn't do shit to Galactus. If you knew anything about comics, you'd know that.
>>81592914
I don't want to be on your level because I don't want to be near you.
>>81593105
>Doctor Manhattan is a low-tier reality warper
Are you fucking stupid? You're telling me that I don't know shit about comics when the doctor KNOWS EVERYTHING, SEES EVERYTHING, and even exists outside reality. If he wanted to, he could just make it where Galan never survived the Big Bang and turn Earth-0 Galan into a feather.
Literally the only ones that could curb stomp Doctor Manhattan are the One Above All/the Presence or the Living Tribunal.
Know your shit, anon.
There's going to be another musical
yeah, one of David Bowie's unreleased tracks is in it, hyped as fuck.
>>81592781
Looking pretty gay there, Squidward.
>>81592781
>Sandy
>Black
>"Zack Snyder's Watchmen adaptation totally misses the point, in the comics only Dr. Manhattan is supposed to have superpowers. Yet he makes everbody superhuman, like remember that unrealistic prison fight and how The Comedian punched a hole in his wall?!"
The only thing that bothered me was that they all killed as superheroes. Kind of misses the whole point with rorschachs character.
>>81592739
Peak Human =/= Superhuman
It is completely believable that Comedian punched a hole in the wall, broke his fucking hand and then kept on going.

Silk Spectre breaks one of the top-knot gangers neck in the comics
>Jungle Book
>In Africa
>Mowgli is a girl
What do you think about this?
Only if she has the extended preggo belly from being hungry and has flies buzzing around her eyes.
Are there tigers in Africa?
I don't care what happens to Mowgli, but the idea of Shere Khan not being a tiger strikes me as intensely wrong
>>81592659
Eh. I'd watch it. As long as the animal voice actors were good and the animation was solid. Honestly I never really held the Jungle Book as sacred ground
Why /co/ doesn't like Boyack more?
>>81592558
Because it tried too hard to be deep.
>ib4 I bet you don't have depression
Every adult cartoon is trying to imitate it now.
Yeah, it's not the show's fault. But who else can we pin the blame on?
Wait till the next season drops. That's when people will likely start talking about it again.
So Sam Humphries is writing the new Green Lanterns. I know hes a Marvel guy but is his writing even good?
What has he written that can be considered decent?
I like both characters that will be featured in this book and really want it to succeed but I don't know if we can trust this guy to not fuck it up.
>>81592323
he's never written anything decent imo but DC is usually able to draw some good out of the worst creators so I hope it'll be at least average and inoffensive
>>81592455
This
And both Jessica and Simon are blank slates so if he just doesn't do anything too out there and tries to respect GL shit then it should be at least mediocre
>>81592455
His Avengers AI was pretty good, actually. Which makes me sad, because he CAN write well, I don't know why he doesn't.
>Super-thong
Hnng
I was certain she had bare legs.

daily reminder that Pixar showed on-screen suicide sequence for PG-rated movie
>>81592171
Daily reminder that The Incredibles is fucking amazing.
>>81592190
>tfw no The Incredibles 2
It's a good but also bad feeling.
Are we really going to play this game again?
What were they thinking?
I see nothing wrong.
It's written for kids whose range of romantic experience is limited and awkward, and they're basically kids themselves, so to make the story relatable they show how not every first relationship you get into works out, or how you shouldn't just commit to the first person you're attracted to in your circle of friends.
For bitter internet nerds though, it was a minefield of excuses to launch into SHAGGY IS A KEK or VELMA IS A BITCH memes.
>>81592155
If it being forced and pointless and ruining Velma's character by making her thirsty for a guy who isn't her intellectual equal and was jealous of his dog classifies as nothing wrong.
Why would you even think about hurting him?
I'm just gonna kill him, really, really bad

>Grant Morrison's Heavy Metal coming on April the 27th
Are ye ready, ye daft gits?
I care more about seeing Enki Bilal in there than I do Grant Morrison, to be honest.
>Morrison has contributed a story himself, “an old school sci-fi twist-ender” entitled “Beachhead” drawn by Benjamin Marra, whim Morrison describes as a “grand guignol genius.”
>>81590670
Not everything in Morrison’s first issue is “out with the old, in the with the new.” He’s keeping two ongoing serials, including Julia and Roem by French comics master Enki Bilal. Writes Morrison in his editor’s letter to readers: “Heavy Metal without the legendary Enki Bilal is like Tom without his Jerry, Laurel minus Hardy. Or salsa with no chips, so that’s NEVER going to happen.”
> In discussing a deleted scene with IGN, Zack Snyder explains why that's the case. "I think all the way – to me, from Metropolis to Smallville is probably just on the edge of his range of hearing," said Snyder while addressing the issue of why Superman didn't react when Martha Kent (Diane Lane) was first kidnapped. "Also the clutter of the city makes it difficult as well."
>"We had a scene that we cut from the movie where he tries to look for her when he finds out that Lex has...

>Gal Gadot On The Standalone WONDER WOMAN Movie - "It Has Moments Of Humor, But It's Pretty Dark"
>"In Batman v Superman, you get a glimpse of who she is but not where she comes from, " said Gadot. She continued, "In Wonder Woman, this would be the first time we ever tell the coming-of-age story of how Diana becomes Wonder Woman. It's very interesting. It has moments of humor, but it's pretty dark."
"We all saw before the beautiful coming of age of Batman,...

See, that's cool and all but unless he's trained himself to specifically super-hear certain sounds (like his name being shouted or Lois's voice) that kind of leaves a big hole in how he was able to save Lois when she got pushed off Lexcorp
