This Giger-inspired girl from Kingdom Come... it's Supergirl.
Specifically, she's a version of Matrix, a shape-shifting artificial girl that became Supergirl for a while in the late 80s early 90s.
They took her origin and made it into a monster girl isnpired by H. R. Giger that can turn body parts into weapons. And while there is another more classic version of Supergirl in the comic, this one is still in a way Supergirl.
It's so weird. I wish she made a return somehow, maybe as an evil version of Supergirl or something.
What other unimportant...

>Prior to launching Deadpool into its solo success, director Tim Miller worked for years to bring Eric Powell‘s The Goon to screens in an animate form with the voices of Clancy Brown as the Goon and Paul Giamatti as his sidekick Frankie. As Miller’s Blur Studio created credit sequences for David Fincher, he came on-board as a producer and a Kickstarter campaign was launched so Blur could create a complete test animatic of the film.
>Then came silence and Deadpool.

If fucking Sausage Party can get greenlit for a wide release, I don't see why The Goon can't.

Has Clancy ever had a leading role in a movie?
Whatever happened with the kickstarter? I know the kickstarter was successfully funded

>X-O Manowar to end in issue #50 with the arc long live the king. It will answer the question as to who is The Torment. X-O Manowar’s Cary Nord micro print shown for issue 50.
>The micro prints will be distributed in 47 through 49. And they will have fifty artists drawing X-O Manowar… that’s quite a lot.
That's a shame. Say what you will about his DC work but Venditti's X-O was some really good shit.

Yeah... why do you even try, OP. /co/ is only for Marvel and DCI'm glad X-O is ending, actually, constant refreshing helps Valiant.

It was good up until after the Planet Death arc, then it just kind of became directionless. I also gave up on Wrath Of The Eternal Warrior after three issues because how incredibly slow it was

>In the last question of the panel, a fan asked why 2016 was the year of "heroes versus heroes" -- which prompted Bendis to crack a not-so-thinly veiled joke at the expense of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." "You should look at as not heroes versus heroes, but ideals versus ideals," Bendis said. "If done well, there's nothing better. If done poorly, it runs for 2 hours and 30 minutes and there's...

So not by Bendis, then?
Big words from one of the worst comic book writers, one of the authors of the worst crap of that genre, like Avengers vs X-Men. If Snyder should shame about it, then Bendis should go snd kill himself, because is the last that should be the judge.
>>81631279
>Even Bendis is making fun of Yawn of Just, Snyder should feel ashamed of his work
I can't tell if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

With the X-Men set to be canceled for the same reason as the Fantastic Four, I thought it would be a neat idea to just have a thread where we talk our favorite X-related stuff.
Post all your favorite moments. Your best X-memes. Whatever x-men stuff you like.
This is one of the last X-Men generals that will have ongoing comics running at the same time.
We'll still have threads after the books stop being made, but it won't be the same.

>With the X-Men set to be canceled for the same reason as the Fantastic Four
Eh, I still feel like they are just baiting fans to create more drama for easy advertising. I doubt anything will come of this. Just look at Secret Wars ("It's totally a reboot, you guys.").
>>81631256
They said Secret Wars wasn't a reboot from the jump.
>>81631103
Part of me thinks theyre gonna section X-men off into their own universe where its just humanity and mutants.
And id be okay with that i think.

Can anyone help me with the reading order for the Shadowland TRADES? Google only helps with single issues, not collected books
I can help you.
Don't read them.

How do you feel over the fact that Star Wars is the only good Marvel comic franchise. And it's not even their franchise
It sucks, but it's so true.
All of the Star Wars ongoings/mini series/one shots have been pretty amazing across the board.
Marvel's other comics are basically liquid shit.
>>81630720
I like Gillen's Darth Vader but probably for the wrong reasons
There are some other good Marvel books if you aren't just trying to push companywars drivel
But in general the MU is in bad shape
What characters an events do you think where well done in the New 52
>>81630604
Aquaman, Animal Man, and Batman all have had pretty solid series. Aquaman especially needed it. Flash and Wonder Woman both had pretty solid runs as well.
Nu52 also did some weird shit that wouldn't have gotten the time of day before, like Demon Knights, Dial H, and Amethyst that were great.
Aquaman and... eh. Dick.
Jonah Hex.
