Why did Hussie make the retcon? It literally made all the tension evaporate from Homestuck
Yeah, the picture raises some fair points. John does battle LE, though. Same for the other Beta kids. Some people really misunderstood what the juju was--it wasn't to trap LE, it was to release the kids so that they could defeat LE. Just because it wasn't directly shown it doesn't mean it didn't happen.
I believe he was tired of juggling 500 things at once.
why he KEPT ADDING EVEN MORE SHIT UP UNTIL THE VERY END im not sure, but he had ACT 7 in mind for a very long time and im hoping is going to use the epilogue to clear up everything else
If you had complete creative control of Zootopia, what would you have done differently? I feel the pacing was rushed a tad for just about every sequence after the interview, so I have added a few more minutes to the runtime, or just had more of an overarching story. Just about everything else was phenomenal.
Short runtime is easier for kids to handle, try getting those little fuckers to sit still through a 2hr plus movie, even with flashy/bright objects to distract them, they can only manage so much before they start annoying everyone around them.
Where is the city of Zootopia located? Is it near the coast, in the heartland of a continent, on an island, etc?
Where did it go wrong?
Where were you when John "Unload A Mag In A Fag" Egbert defeated the gay menace?

So was the retcon the absolute worst thing to happen narrative wise?
I didn't have much issue with it, because John and Roxy were two of my favorite characters and they came out intact.
I liked the idea of being able to fix things in the timeline without fear of paradox, too.
The only thing I really mourn is the character development for Rose.
So Homestuck is over. What did you think

Well I guess it was a kind of ending.
If you could call it that.
Also We Love Fine's BIG TOP TIER ANNOUNCEMENT is out
lets all be confused/depressed at the ending we got.
Are you ready for another year long pause until the epilogue?
Newspost promised some updates in the coming months on Hiveswap (lol) and probably more merch that literally will not sell for the several years.
Moment of silence for those who never made it.
Andrew Hussie cucked you out of a good ending for Homestuck. Why not read something with a satisfying conclusion?
This picture has never been more relevant.
Last words each important character said in-comic:
Rose: The degree of maturity you are showing here is really bad for morale.
Dave: why are we so fucking awesome
Jade: see ya!!!!!!!!!!
Jane: That would be great too!
Jake: By my estimation that makes you a dead ringer for the alice of this tea party!
Roxy: k guys???
Dirk: Anybody ever asked.
Karkat: I HOPE HE'S OK.
Terezi: YOU BOTH DON3 W1TH YOUR ROOFTOP F33L1NGS J4M?
Vriska: Why is everything always so wonderful?
(Vriska): Can you just stay a little longer so...

The other threads died so here's a new one.
After seven years, Homestuck has finally ended with Act 7.
Love it or hate it, we've reached the conclusion of a long, long journey.
It ran for 7 years; long enough to inspire many artists from novice to professional levels. Same with writers, actually. Do you think it'll have a spiritual successor? Is there already one?
If they read too far, they'll quickly lose their inspiration...
