Do the other super villains ever make fun of Vandal Savage for all the stupid things he believed hundreds of years ago like the Earth being the center of the universe, diseases were transmitted by smell, and that you could turn things into gold?
>>81880613
>the Earth being the center of the universe, diseases were transmitted by smell, and that you could turn things into gold?
all those things are true in the DC though
>>81880613
This is a universe where GOD'S and MULTIVERSE is canon and known. (To capes) Not to mention all the bullshit magic that happens.
So no, they find it normal.
>>81880613
Earth is the center of their universe. In every way possible.
What went wrong?

They cancelled ATHF.
Becoming their own network instead of just part of CN.
Why is Bruce so upset? He should be over-joyed. Now the Joker is dead but he doesn't have to live with the guilt of breaking his code because somebody else did it for him.
>>81880346
>Why is Bruce so upset?
Because he loves him.
>>81880346
Bruce doesn't want to be in a position where he watches someone die in front of him again, powerless to do anything about it. Even someone like the Joker.
because superman just fucking killed a guy
How strong do you prefer your characters, /co/?
>>81880019
>Thing bigger than 6'
Was Wizard ever not trash?
Army strong
Nothing about that makes sense
What was the last great CN show? I'm going to say Billy & Mandy. It still had shades of that Grossout 90's humour, and the anarchic spirit that you used to be able to identify with CN. I know that's not the most precise description, but I'm not sure what else to call it.
Early billy and Mandy is nothing like anything that came before it. It's very dark, it doesn't even bother having humor at some parts. Later Billy and Mandy is very golden age spongebob with some more pop culture references thrown in.
>>81879811
Even early Billy and Mandy had a lot of good moments, though I'd say the shift you're thinking of came about once it was given its own show rather than sharing a block with Evil Con Carne.

Flower chick's design threw me off at first but I liked her by the end. It over all wasn't as interesting as the first one but it looks like they're setting up for something bigger and I did like the song itself so not bad/10
Mistery skulls will never be popular.
so if Asgard exists in the Marvel Universe does that mean that the heroes who die like badasses get to go there? Can Thor visit his dead pals?
>>81879403
Changes depending on the writer. In Simonson's Thor one of the early stories was about the last seat in Valhalla
>>81879403
>does that mean that the heroes who die like badasses get to go there?
Depends on if they're pals with Thor.
>>81879528
But Thor isn't the God of the Dead, desu
That's Hel, I think
Suddenly I'm so excited for this movie. Can we talk about it and also how great the original movie is? What do you want to see?
How many people have read this comic?
I haven't, wait give me a minute
Posting the first chapter

Heathcliff plays catch with a bear.
>>81879251
How do you fags figure out how to keep twisting this fucking shit, this is metaphysical by all means.
>>81879335
The real question is how the bear is going to catch the trash can if it's going above his head
>>81879251
what does /co/ think of comicstorian?
He's annoying and his joker voice is unbearable
>>81879703
I second that
>>81879703
Pretty much
Does a modern Batman have MMA training?
Batman is trained in everything that the plot requires him to be trained in I think
>>81878809
Let's say he has an MMA background. would he lean towards BJJ, the go-to of the 2000s, or Amateur Wrestling, the go-to of the 2010s?
Okay fine, the real purpose of this thread is me trying to figure out if Batman would stand a chance against Brock Lesnar.
Just remember that Brock Lesnar is the only man in human history to do the impossible when he conquered the Undertaker's undefeated streak at Wrestlemania
can someone explain to me what was the meaning of the Powerpuff Girls episode "Hear me, See me, Gnomey"?
especially the song "freedom beef"

If you have to ask you'll never know.
>>81878721
it's just weird episode dude.
i mean i have my thoughts on it, but i'm just afraid that what i think of what it means is completely wrong

You do realize any work of fiction can be interpenetrated differently.
Who wins!
>>81878670
I'll bite. The Flash wins at everything.
>>81878670
flash, no contest. as long as he can imagine it, flash can go as fast as he wants.
speed force is the best power in the DC universe
The ending of this always bothered me. Superman never proved that his non-lethal methods were best, he just proved that he's stronger than the Authority. I expected some sort of moral triumph but we never get it unless we assume might literally makes right
Please storytime it, faggot.
>>81878306
I honestly feel like this was KIND OF Joe Kelly's own attempt at a much smaller scale version of something like 'kingdom come'
Except instead of the gritty heroes of the late 80s early 90s it was in answer to the all too short but burning hot popularity of the authority.
Personally I would like to have seen another swipe taken at the idea when the nu52 hit. With authority now in the dcu they could have easily had the actual ellis/millar style authority overthrowing regimes, killing dictators,...

I want this so badly now. And I want Grant Morrison to write it and I want it to be a giant middle finger to Mark Millar.
