What do you think of Darkseid War so far?
And have the other page, because whatever it's cute.

Big Barda and Mister Miracle are great.
Some of the Tie-ins are okay.
And the art is gorgeous.
Everything else is shit. Johns sets up a billion things and either does nothing with them or the pay-off is dull. Darkseid's Mary Sue Daughter sucks. Some of the ideas suck (Superman made evil/mean/jerk thanks to plot device for the billionth time.
This event should feel epic but instead it just feels convoluted and boring.
iys okay
what are anons thoughts?
is it the one of the only comics that hasn't been infected by esjaydubsitis and Goatse?

Now that the end is only about a year away, I'm actually pretty interested. There just seems to be an utter fuck ton of disorganized series and not much in handy collections and I like buying my comics.
Sadtrombone.gif.
...This is still going? Holy shit.
Is it still all available online? And is there a reading guide somewhere? I remember the timeline being... confusing.

Hard to have an opinion about something you haven't read.
>implying people don't talk shit abut stuff they haven't read all the damn time
In theory, it's hard to have an opinion of something you haven't read.
I was reading through Warren Ellis' Thunderbolts run and I'm really enjoying it. It's only 11 issues so I'm looking for recommendations on other Thunderbolts runs (I've read that's Ellis' run is the best one).
If anything I'd like a series where bad guys fight together for "justice". Not Suicide Squad V1 though, that's already in my reading list.
Ives read it all and I honestly think Ellis is as good as it ever gets. Parker's run isn't that bad though.

>I've read that's Ellis' run is the best one
This kind of triggers me because Warren Ellis' run on Thunderbolts is a departure from what came before it. I like Ellis' run but it's not really representative of the Thunderbolts as a series.
I would honestly start reading the T-Bolts from issue #1. The original art is very 90s but for the most part the whole series is good. I'd skip Fightbolts (#76 - #81) and the Marvel NOW! Thunderbolts (the...

Alright, this makes sense.
Do I need to know anything before starting? Because for Ellis' run you need to know about Civil War, for example.
What are some of the better crossover events to read? Like, what would you recommend to someone specifically looking for them?

Re-think your life.
Infinity Gauntlet is probably the most universally celebrated event but /co./ happens to like CoIE more.

What's the biggest instance of Batgod in comics?

I've always felt like Hal and Bruce's interactions was Geoff overcompensating for the backlash against Hal cold-cocking him in Rebirth.
>>81903554
either when he sat on the mobius chair, or when he shot darkseid with a time bullet
>>81903554
That's just Hal being his stupid self.
The sun is rising high up over Tarrytown,
Friends taking off and friends touching down.
That's where you'll find,

Jay Jay the Jet Plane!

Never been another little guy like this,
So much in love with the sky like this.
So buckle up tight,
It's a magical flight...

This is what happens when Bolbi has sex with a plane.

I know a better show about talking aircraft if anyone is interested.
Please tell me /co/ hasn't fallen for the memes and recognizes the poignancy of the "Martha" scene from BvS.
Was getting caught part of your plan?
Why did Superman refer to his mother by her first name?
>>81903142
The plot and setup of the big climax of the second act was just a big misunderstanding that would have easily been fixed if they had just explained themselves.
It's literally romcom-tier.
Name a better comic book writer.
>protip: you can't
Bendis. Nice try, though.
U ready for Jerusalem brah?

I shall continue to insist that Aqua Teen is not actually cancelled until I wake up on January 1st, 2017.
They're playing us just like they have before. There was literally no reason for AS to cancel a still profitable show.
>Aqua Teen
>profitable
Pick one.
>>81902244
I wish Aqua Teen was still popular among college kids :(
>>81902374
>Made on a shoestring budget
>Meatwad and the Mooninites are still the most recognizable characters in Adult Swim history
Is this the GOAT event?
>>81902227
There's a sane part of me that wants to say "No", but then the other part of me that's read this comic too many times wants to bow to Darkseid and give in to the singular truth that is the Anti-life. All is one with Darkseid.
>>81902227
The worst thing about is it that there won't be any more "Crisis" events. I would have liked to see what else they could do,
>>81902714
>implying Final Crisis is the actual "Final" Crisis
By the turn of the century, we'll be on Meme Crisis III
Okay, I know there's been an abundance of threads about Zootopia/tropolis and I know people must sick of it. But I just saw this with my girlfriend today and we both loved it, I just want to have a discussion thread about the movie.
>>81902042
There's two up already.
>>81902111
Yeah, I tried them, but it's shitposting from the looks of things
>>81902042
I wanted to see more transportation stuff. The blimp in the Rainforest District was interesting, as well as the Hippo river that they were coming out of in the beginning.

Dennis Hopeless lives up to his name.

Ever since I heard about his eyesight I can't hate him anymore. That sucks, I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
Shouldn't there be a few subreddits on Earth-1 with people wildly speculating who Batman really is. Or trading pics of Harley porn, if not sides dedicated to superheroine porn.
Maybe some groups dedicated to figuring out secret identities and maybe getting a few right because internet autism.
>>81901213
You're an idiot
>>81901213
Yes. And they should have figured shit out by now.
But you just can't have that, no matter how camera phones and Internet make it factually inevitable.
>>81901576
I think the generally accepted theory is that Oracle or some other tech wizard has set up a massive botnet of accounts on every conceivable forum/subreddit/comment chain discussing superhero identities and loads them with falseflags using completely idiotic conspiracy theories like how Superman and Clark Kent were not seen attending Metropolis' Fifty-Third Annual Hot Dog Eating contest together.
