What the fuck were they thinking with this?

I love whatever they were thinking.

Maybe the writer wanted to make comics "real art" and also happened to be a big fan of Nabokov.
People keep commenting how interesting the world and lore is of this show, but I'm having a hard time seeing past the references and obvious inspirations to see its "creativity". Most of the show feels like disguised fan fiction, and knowing that Sugar was a heavy fan fic writer in her early days (To the point of Peridot being her fan fiction version of ZIM and Pearl basically being Double D), I wouldn't put it past that it basically is.
Is this a shitty reason for not being able to enjoy a show? Does anyone else feel this way?
>>82388760
All fiction is just a ripoff of somethhingh else
>>82388760
Nothing it's 100% original in these times

That's always the response, but when I watch something like Courage the Cowardly Dog or Ed Edd N Eddy, I can see influences, but I never think, "Wow, Courage is basically just like a narcotic Lassie".
With SU, all I can see is fangirl Rebecca Sugar plugging in her favorite characters and animes into a Frankenstein show.
For those who have seen Civil War, how was Black Panther? Are you excited for the Black Panther movie?
Heard he's the best hero in this.
Aside from scarlet witch
Really excited for the spinoffs

Bretty good, although he seems a bit overpowered, and he does need more screen time. His appearances out of costume are fantastic though, and his post credits scene is great.

>"It's going to be crammed with Bat villains, which means that just about every major bad guy you've ever wanted to see in a movie will be in this movie. According to my sources Affleck and Geoff Johns, who has been working with him on the film, want to make the definitive Batman film. They want to tell the ultimate Batman story, and to do so they're going to bring in all the big guns. They're going to...

Obscure Simpsons woman thread.
Good morning everyone and welcome back to this week's symbiote thread. You all know the drill, now, let's get to work

Carnage ongoing > Space Knight Venom ongoing
>>82384982
I will agree with this, Venom is suffering getting Bendis'ed, but I have faith in Thompson, hell that guy took Slott's OC and turned her into a great fun character, I think he can do the same with space Venom.
>>82385110
there is a reason why carnage is selling better than venom, space adventures has been the GotG thing for 3 years ago, Venom/Flash doesnt bring too much to the table.
While the writer of carnage is doing a spin to the character by making him deal with magic, and no any magic but Chutulu like magic from the marvel universe
Was he asian?
>>82384082
His genetic history is Bruce Wayne and a red haired woman.
>>82384115
why does he look asian though
i genuinely don't know if its just me here but he looks REALLY asian
>>82384115
yeah, that was stupid.
>Implying Marvel heroes don't kill.
This is a scene from Avengers 1, when Cap pushes a guy off the Helicarrier. Seconds later, he throws a grenade back at another dude.
Why is it a problem when, in BvS, Batman apparently killed people, but in this, when Cap clearly kills someone, it's no big deal?
>>82385156
Because Marvel is supposed to be about edgy faggots. DC is supposed to be better.
>Ironman kills in the first movie
it was stablished they do kill since day one
For the same reason it's okay for a dog to bark but if a cat does it it's weird. They're different beasts.

Watching that video was a waste of time and does not deserve any views. His points are very much clickbait fodder for other sites to write headlines for. Contrarian at best. If it was his honest opinion... There's not much else to say here...

Teddy Ruxpin is my shit dawg.
Pretty self-explanatory. Despite that the show has gotten quite a bit of attention on /trash/ as of late, especially the gopher character here.
If you insist.
Aquaman literally cannot look cool, can he?
He looked cool in the 90's. In fact, he was the only one who looked cool in the 90's.
>>82383295
I think he looks cool OP and I should know, I'm super cool!
>>82383295
90's Aquaman disagrees.
Would you /co/?
No. Fat is disgusting.

>According to Simon Kinberg, this will contain more mass destruction than any of the previous X-Men films. Kinberg states: "We've spent the most time talking about creating a character that's the most powerful mutant villain that we've seen in the X-Men movies so far, more powerful than Magneto or the Phoenix! The kind of scope and scale we're talking about is like a disaster movie featuring an extinction-level event. We're talking Michael Bay/Roland Emmerich-style moviemaking, which you've never seen in an X-Men movie,...

I want to be but the series is way past its prime, DoFP was a half-assed reboot, but it really needs a proper rebooting to keep up with the rival modern Super hero universes.
>Are you hyped for Apocalypse yet?
>Singer

Nope.
I'm rather burnt out on the whole 'mass destruction' thing.
More set pics from Hobo Fist.

Definitely a precursor to his costume, me thinks.

I do believe the guy on the right is Brett Chan, whose previous work is stunt coordinator for Marco Polo.
From the backgrounds it looks like Danny is in China Town. Makes sense.
