Why was Stan "hack fraud thief" Lee the one that got famous?
A few reasons but it started with him being married to the owner's cousin
>>84570165
Because it's mostly true

Better at building a brand than making comics. And normies don't give a shit about comics so they don't give a shit about the guy that made them.
Anyone else feel avenging spiderman was criminally underrated?

This was better than final crisis.
Fight me.
I dont fight people with reading disabilities
I didn't think Infinite Crisis is bad but it isn't really good either. It didn't really do anything interesting or memorable aside from asking "What if the Justice League didn't trust each other during an event" which could've been done just fine in a smaller event. The meta angle was alright I guess.
Final Crisis was so crazy the whole thing was interesting.

I liked it. Have never read Final Crisis.
Is the creepiness why Mattie/Spider-Woman III wasn't well received? I was introduced to her through Alias, heard about her tragic death, and it inspired me to start collecting her stuff. A hero that has a short stint, some dark times, and then a tragic death that (til now, fucking Silk) is something rare in Marvel.
But only after reading the first actual issue have I noticed something. There isn't a single appearance of hers that isn't somehow sexual or creepy in some way.

I remember reading Mattie Franklin's first appearances as they were coming out, and I don't remember her being that young. I always thought she was like 15 or 16. Maybe I just don't remember it specifically since that was 18 years ago, and having only read the issues once in the comic book shop, but she didn't get into the creepy stuff you are talking about until the Alias series.
I'm actually trying to collect her entire run of appearances, but Amazing Spider-Man Volume 2 (1999) giving me problems. The single issues, especially #1, are too expensive to pick up. I need #1-6 and #14.
Was there/what is a trade that collects them?
What happened in Silk?
Mattie's death is one of the huge reasons I haven't seriously tried to come back to Spider-Man after OMD/OMIT. It was just so incredibly crappy.

If Jake and Finn were raised together then when did Jake go through his criminal phase and how did Finn not know about it? Did Jake abandon Finn for a period of time? Post theories !
>>84569360
Think about it. Jake was a grown adult sometime around 6-8 months. He had a weenie of a brother his own age, along with this adopted baby brother who, despite being MONTHS old, is still a goddamn baby
of course he's going to go sow his wild oats, get into some trouble. be a MAN dog.
Every so often he might feel bad, drop back in on his folks.. now it's been fucking.. 18 months and the kid is still a baby! the fuck is WRONG with humans? Is this why they went extinct?
only when the kid's able...

I think the writers might not know but I'll answer legitimately OP.
Since Jake seems to age like twice as fast as Finn does, I always thought that Finn was just growing up with their parents at their house while Jake was out doing his hood rat shit. Joshua and Margaret either didn't know about it or elected to not tell Finn. When they died it seems Jake didn't tell Finn either for probably the same reasons.
I really think that by the time their parents were dead and Finn and Jake were living at the treehouse Jake was done with stealing shit. That really...

we got jake's origin story, i don't think anyone saw that coming. i think it's possible we might get the adventures of college-age jake and toddler finn
just once though i would like the show to acknowledge the blithering idiocy of the way they conceive age.
Have you ever had a animated show or movie that you had an ungodly hate for? If so, what was it?
>>84569070
Your favorite show.
>>84569070
I once animated a cartoon for my school's broadcasting news channel during highschool and everyone thought I was some top shit Flash animator. My math teacher was so impressed that he stopped the entire class just to show everyone. It was flattering but I hated the cartoon because it was the first time I ever did anything in Flash, the pacing was bad, and I drew it with a mouse because the drawing tablet they gave me was garbage. I'll never show anyone that cartoon and I'm embarrassed by entire school watched it but at least they seemed to like it so that helps with the pain.

>Waiter brings Anna and Elsa's order

>Elsa is about to call after the guy to raise a complaint, but Anna just trades plates and says, "Calm down, sis. No big deal, justlet it go."
Nick is a legitimate businessman and not a common thief. When will the fox stereotypes end?

Merida keeps shooting apples out of people's hands and off their plates.

What does /co/ think of this underrated show?
Also, general superhero cartoons thread.
>>84568664
Loved this show, still do. It has its flaws, but still holds up fir the most part. Emma Frost had a well done character arc, and Cyclops was enjoyable since the 90s version. Also touched on more villains than other shows did; the Mojo episodes surprised me the first viewing.
>>84568664
It was alright. The 90's cartoon was great, but I remember the action in this series being pretty passable. A good range of the xmen characters were shown too, which was nice

Why would anyone in their right mind ever choose anything from SatAM over AoStH?
So if Barry's still the primary Flash, what's Wally now that he's back? If they're both maintaining secret identities as The Flash again, how do others differentiate between the two?
Wally is going by the Flash too

Why didn't they bring Vision and/or War Machine?
>>84568074
Vision is not exactly inconspicuous, he'd attract too much attention.
Nobody gives a shit about Rhodes.
>>84568074
It seemed to be a stealth mission and I think what was supposed to be just or mainly recon with a side of training Wanda.
Neither Vision or War Machine are what I consider subtle. But it would have been good to have them waiting in reserve somewhere just in case.
>>84568114
Yeah, but these guys are in full costume.
War Machine is pretty different cos he's so weaponised and political and stuff but Vision would have been really useful here.
Only suggestion is that they really didn't think they'd need him?
