>tfw Superman will never be portrayed this way again
No one really wants to see him that way in this day and age. Actual superman fans are in their 30s and 40s, not the demographic these movies are going for.

>No one really wants to see him that way in this day and age.
Plenty do.
>Actual superman fans are in their 30s and 40s, not the demographic these movies are going for.
No one mentioned movies.

I'm 21. I like all different kinds of Superman. Injustice was fucking dumb thoughthe game's worth it just to see Superman come through at the end and slap the shit out of everyone before putting Regime Superman away
>The MCU is 8 years old today
Really? It feels older.

And so is its target audience.

Can he write an event without a "shock" death?
>>82422077
>77
Oh shit, a bullet just ricocheted off a wall and went through OP's heart! We're in a Bendis event!
If you get dubs, you're killed for shock value. If you get trips, you're one of Bendis' pet characters!
>>82422077
I don't think Secret Invasion has a shock death? Plenty of shock Skrulls, but I don't think any shock deaths
Can anyone?

Being a yuropoor, I never grew up with Marvel or DC, and never really took interest in their stuff before now. I've read some about Doctor Strange, and it all sounds bretty good, but I have no fucking idea of where to start. Any recommendations?
>>82421969
>I never grew up with Marvel or DC,
Then don't bother. Keep reading all that good Euro shit.

Strange Tales #110I'm serious.
>>82421969
For a basic, simple introduction, I would absolutely recommend the first couple of Lee/Ditko stories. They are seriously some of the best from that era.
After that, Dr Strange & Doctor Doom: Triumph and Torment and Dr Strange: The Oath are the most common recommendations. There was a recent New Avengers Annual that was pretty great.
If you were a criminal in comic book world which superhero would you want to meet the least?

Man of Murder
Stardust.
Sentry.
Finally got around to watching this
At least it wasn't terrible
>>82421804
Morena Baccarin was equal parts sexy and adorable.
>>82422364
Need her to play Catwoman
It was very disappointing that they wasted X Gon Give It To Ya on Deadpool, it would have been the perfect theme for Charles rolling out to kick some ass in Apocalypse.

Your job is to make a Dark Souls or Bloodborne animated series. How do you do it? Also would you watch it?
>>82421105
Told in 3 episode short stories about various characters of Lordran during and after the fall of the old kingdom. The passing of the 4 kings, artorious' fall, the flight of gwenevere and the dark sun's crafting of the great illusion of light in Anor Londo. The fall of Seath into crystalline madness. The covenant of the forest being founded to guard Sif and the passage into the abyss. The imprisoning of Dusk and her search for her hero. Maybe even a segment on the struggles of the crestfallen warrior and...

Yea, I think it would be best done tell mini stories. Maybe Bloodborne could follow a closer narrative to the actual game.
Each episode would end with the main character dying. The longest episode would go for an hour while the shortest one would be 30 seconds.
Does anyone have a guide to start reading cosmic Marvel, not DnA casual shit, the older stuff. I was reading some Warlock and it really got me interested in it. It's awesome.
>>82421043
I dont have any specifics but read anything and everything by Jim Starlin ( Infinity Gauntlet and all of it's sequels) and Infinity Watch. Also classic Silver Surfer is awesome
>>82421043
This desu. I need to read it.
>>82421251
Do you at least have Starlin's guide or are you completely useless?

yes becuase every other sequel or reboot of an old movie has been so good
>>82420540
Hell the original wasn't really good either.
It's popularity is purely revolved around the ridiculousness of it's own existence and became something of a "so bad it's good" or a meme.

Hey /co/, why isn't /ss/ in more comics?
Because statutory rape is frowned upon by Western culture.
I'm female but /ss/ is comfy as hell.
>>82421144
I'm not sure I want to know what that photo has to do with /ss/.
I bet his pop took one look at him and said
"You dog you, you dirty little dog you, you ain't no son of mine"

John R Dilworth was nothing but a John K copypasta.

this meme must die
Can we have a DC Animated movie thread? I just re watched Superman vs The Elite yesterday and was wondering about some of the more recent movies they have put out. I have seen pretty much all of them up until Justice League Doom, though I still need to see S/B Apocalypse and Crisis on 2 worlds. I think I saw they had a Flashpoint one though which seems cool, and that the last couple of movies are all related to each other some way
I've liked them all except for the one about Aquaman, because it is about Aquaman.
How come DC can do their animated movies so right?
