Daily reminder that Tom King is human garbage as per unanimous /co/ decision.

Daily reminder that OP's gonna get waterboarded Guantanamo.
Just a reminder that King is going to make Batman an intresting hero again. Literally one of the only writers dc has that's worth following.

>as per unanimous /co/ decision.
For we are the low, the cursed, the beggar.
I just re-watched the series for the first time in ages, and I forgot how good it was.I need a season 2 why did it have to end so soon
>>82547451
Clone High Undergrads crossover when?
>>82547451
speaking of, The theme song was just AMAZING, really sets up the whole 'Entertaining Angst' thing.
>>82547451
>why did it have to end so soon
indian protestors
In Civil War why was there no scene of Michael Douglas slapping the shit out of Iron Man going "ANTS. ANTS. ANTS. ANTS. YOUR DADDY'S A BITCH. ANTS."
Because Falcon doesn't know him.
>"Old man Pym said never trust a Stark!"
>"Who are you?"
ANTS
Only thing I would have accepted would be Tony going to Hank's house to ask why the fuck the Ant-Man suit was being used by Scott Lang, only for Hank to deck him before he even opens his mouth.
Carl sits down and reads/watches the last thing you've read/watched.
What's his reaction?
>>82547209
>Which character is that. What's her name? The one with the tits.
>Yeah I ain't pronouncin' that. You know what I would do though?
>Oohohoh yeah! TONIGHT.
>>82547209
Pale Flower. Probably would have loved it if not for the subtitles.
>>82547209
>You're an adult and you're watching/readin' this. What are you, freakin' stupid?
This would probably be his reaction to anything that is /co/, be it capeshit, cartoons, internet animation or webcomics.
So I just watched this, it was visually spectacular. Beautiful world and animation. I think it would have totally captured and impacted my imagination if I'd seen it as a kid.
Is this downloadable in english yet?
>>82547196
yeah, check torrents
any webms?
>it's a "Hank accidentally becomes a pimp episode"
What's your favourite episode of King of the Hill?
I am the mack daddy of Heimlich county.
The one where bobby becomes a model
Any Dale centric episode.
Could she beat Natasha or Wanda?
She can beat anybody until it's time for her boyfriends to rescue her.
Natasha yes, Wanda probably not.
No one can defeat Phoenix Wanda unless she allows it through crippling emotional insecurity, OP.
just saw civil war and loved it
Spider-man was done SO well, ill have to admit i turned back into a kid again seeing him on screen with the avengers
that said
>movie ends
>get in car
>brothers dumb bitch girlfriend "i couldnt stand spiderman"
>bro and i "what? he was great? what are you talking about?
>i just wasnt emotionally invested in him. he had NO backstory, they didnt bother showing us...

I don't know where I stand on it myself. On one hand I'm glad they didn't do the uncle Ben thing AGAIN, but on the other hand I'm worried this may be becoming too much of a movie series "for comic fans".
Like, when Wondy showed up in BvS, the non-comic people I was with just thought she was weird and out-of-the-blue, since it's been so long since Wonder Woman has had mainstream media. For a lot of people who never saw the old Spider-Man movies or read the comics, Spidey...

Oh come Spider-man allowed to operate without government oversight?
>>82546750
Holland was fun, Spidey was spot on with his fighting style and banter, and he left a positive impression, but let's be perfectly honest, he was completely irrelevant and extraneous and cutting him would've lost nothing.
OH SHIT, get in here, it's happening!
>you will never have a thick asian waifu to take to pound town

>Octopus Pie thread
>on /co/
Huh. Never seen that before. Octopus Pie always struck me as off /co/'s radar.
It is a nice webcomic, I just lost interest a few years ago and never made time to catch up.
>>82546805
People used to recommend it all the time, before hipsters took over the internet and caused a backlash here against hipster comics.
So we all agree that Whedon was a hack and fucked up Age of Ultron.
So let's entertain a thought. Turn the clock back. What would Age of Ultron have been like under the directing of the Russos instead?
Going in with the same basic premise, what would be changed? What would stay the same?
How about not killing Quickslav for one
No Quiptron
>>82546615
It wouldn't have ended with Cap and Tony on good terms.
How big is having a linear-progressing narrative, continuity and character development in an animated series?
I feel like Bojack gets hailed as way greater than it really is just because it incorporates these story-telling devices at a time when they're rare to come by. In other words, because it's conceptually ambitious rather than polished & well executed.
Bojack lacks the kind of consummate professionalism as say a Futurama, but nobody hails that show as being 'spectacular'.
>>82546534
It's just an adoptation of a regular TV series season format into animation. Nothing huge. It's just that, traditionally, most animated shows have always been aimed at syndication globally. So anyone can just drop in and watch it at any time and feel they haven't missed any major developments.
Bojack just adopts a more traditional storytelling format over aiming for syndication. South Park has aimed for it over the past few seasons by introducing overarching narratives across seasons. It's...

good art + bad story > bad art + good story

>Unpopular opinion
literally everyone who saw the secret of kells agrees with you
>>82546486
kells wasn't a bad story, it just barely had a story
>>82546446
Nah
Bad art + Good story is better. I'd rather read a book than stare at art.
What are the best Spidey-runs? I really love early USM and I've been thinking about rereading Strazynski, haven't read it for years - does it hold up?
What are everyones favourite Spidey-storylines? Mine is probably the six arms saga.
Also, what's been happening in the Spider-comics since Superior?
>>82546429
>does it hold up
In my opinion, yes.
I recommend the original by Lee and Ditko/Romita if old doesn't bother you, anything by Roger Stern or J.M. DeMatteis. Anything Spider-Man related by Zeb Wells and Spider-Man: Fever
>What are everyones favourite Spidey-storylines?
Nothing Can Stop The Juggernaut is my personal favourite.
Can't answer the last question because I stopped caring around Spider-Island.
>>82546429
it's been pretty meh after Superior, there was Spider-verse and then some filler before Secret wars. Now he's fighting Zodiac and juggling that with managing Parker Industries
have a bump bc I need some recommended runs too
>>82546429
I think Gerry Conway's run can get delightfully dilly like the Doc Ock/Aunt May Marrage and ghost hammer head but over all its a really solid and mature run. Specifically the original clone saga (143-151) was very suspenseful and significant with the plot juxtaposeing very well with the romantic (sub) plot.
I also love most of J.M.Demathis's run, Tom Defalco's run and JMS's stuff is mostly good I think.
So how wide an area does a green lantern sector cover

Divide the total volume of the universe by 3600, boom, done.
>>82546675
Did that ever made sense. How is a single GL supposed to watch over tens of thousands galaxies?
>>82546847
It's not like the universe is that big.
So I'm going to start this off by saying the only marvel films I've actually seen are cap 1, iron man 1-2, thor 2, and guardians of the galexy. So I went and saw Civil War, and the whole film seemed like it was nothing more than an excuse to smash action figures together for a scene. And they kept doing that shitty quick cut shaky cam so you can't see shit during the action sequences. Are all marvel movies just this Bullshit of quick cuts and no plot? Rami spider man had better action and it came out a decade ago
>>82546302
are you still mad because I said Maquire sucked in the other thread?
>>82546382
Nah I thought spiderman was fine. Although it was Bullshit they didn't give cap the chance to sway him because Spider man believed the same things as cap. I just thought the whole fucking movie was just an excuse for the fight in the airfield and the fight in the bunker
>>82546302
>I've actually seen are cap 1, iron man 1-2, thor 2, and guardians of the galexy
thats the problem
