The anime itself is kinda more of a regular Shonen-styled anime, cept with better writing. I like the storyline, though I kept wishing scenes would happen differently.
The two boys in this thread, Yu and Mika, certainly have a shonen-ai bromance going on, with The blonde one in this thread having some emotionally-dead yandere going on. He isn't really permitted to die, and was turned into a vampire against his will. He hates everything about himself, and all he wants in the world is his only living friend. It's not quite Mirai-Nikki level of obsession, as Mika has too much respect for Yu's wishes. The two girls in this anime have a thing for the black haired boy, which makes me sad, because the only reason I even watched this was for the boys. Screw the girls. They don't even have good personalities.

Watch it anyway, though. 12 episodes really isn't much, and it goes by fast. Some writings in anime make it feel as though the anime takes forever to watch, but this one feels like it's at a moderate pace. Watch it.

Can't see Mika becoming Yuu's sword after they made such a big deal out of Asumaru being Yuu's weapon. As for Mika turning Yuu into a vampire, I can only see that happening if Yuu's life was on the line and it was the only way of saving him. Otherwise Mika would not do it.

Yeah if Mika turns Yuu, I would be almost certain it would be to save his life. As for Mika becoming his sword, I think it's possible, if the situation with Asuramaru became more devloped. It's also possible that Yuu could get another sword, not sure if it's happened because having two demons possessing you would be very uncommon, but if they were both "friends" with Yuu I can see it happening.

I'll admit, I don't think the designs of the females are visually pleasing at all. I don't find their personalities entertaining, etc. None of the girls in the show are even happy save for one of Crowly's girls who basically gets no screentime. Horn's design would be favorable if her drills were replaced with softer looking ringlets. Overall, I like Horn's design the best out of the girls, but I like the bodice of Chess's dress.
If I read the LM's, I'd probably like one of Guren's girls. At least I would better than Mitsuba and Shinoa.

I do wish they came out and made it canon already. It will never happen though, if I were going off the show I'd say it pretty much is, but the manga isn't as gay and I'd guess they'll end it as being ambiguous. Neither Mika nor Yuu will get a firm pairing with anyone. Shinoa probably won't either, but I saw someone speculating that she and Narumi could become a pair, which I think would be nice and would be about as canon as they're likely to make Mika and Yuu.

The manga is still pretty damn gay. In some ways more, in others less, than the anime.
MikaYuu is apparently the favorite pairing in the show in Japan. So there's going to be (and has been) a lot of fujo pandering. But enough of the reader demographic is just there for the shonen action that it'll never be concrete.
Chances are, the manga will end with the only romance every having been confirmed being Guren/Mahiru. Everything else will probably just be ambiguous.
