D.Gay-man is back.
I demand a thread.
Last one.
More Noah! Bump for lack of contribution
>>2979930
I've got a few, but honestly, there's not a lot of Noah art that I consider of high enough quality for me to save.
Pretty much all the good art belongs to either Kanda or Allen.
And this one is just barely Noah. That's all I got for now. I'll probably come back with more later.

Back with more.
What anime is this?
>>2986399
D.Gray-man.
The anime ended though and the manga is now published on a quarterly basis.
The author also had an illness resulting in a convoluted hiatus which messed up the pacing and confused a lot of people.
It used to be big though, especially among fujos. Yullen was huuuge.
>>2986472
The anime stopped just when the story was beginning to hit its stride, from what I recall.
And yes, Yullen was extremely popular. I have a soft spot for Tiki myself.
I'm glad that the manga has been resumed, I should get to rereading it.
Gray Mann?
>>2986472
Is it worth a watch for the plot? Also I heard it was pretty homo at times, how homo was it/
>>2988440
If you want to read the manga? then yeah sure I definitely recommend it! Especially if you like somewhat complicated plots full of mysteries that has the fans doing lots of speculations. Altho it might get a bit confusing, it's still pretty exciting! And if you like tragedies , this series is full of it! Downside might be the drastic change in artstyle and it did get a bit messy during all the breaks.
If you just want to watch the anime than I wouldn't recommend it. It's...pretty cringeworthy and has some really bad fillers, they tend to kinda dumb down the characters. Plus I think it's pretty likely there might be an anime reboot in a couple of years now that the manga is out of hiatus.
homo wise, well, there's an arc later on that can be seen as pretty homo. For the rest it's got a bunch of possible fujoships but it's not all that blatant in the series itself.
It's mostly the eyecandy; every character becomes hot.
>>2988553
What this anon said. The anime really is not worth watching, apart from the fillers the animation is nothing stellar. Some OPs are really great, though.
As for the homo content, apart from that arc there is also this long battle that culminates with one of the bad guys lying on top of the MC and being exceedingly creepy in borderline rapey way. It's just an example but it really stayed with me.
By the way, the story really gets dark and what I remember keeps getting darker by the chapter.
>>2988553
I might give the manga a read then, I have a lot of time anyway. Without even seeing it, I think a reboot is incredibly likely. It seems like a generally popular thing to do with anime that started needing a lot of filler these days. Pretty much anything that caught up to the manga and got prematurely finished is getting a reboot these days,
A reboot would really be great, especially if it covered Kanda's backstory and kept the increasingly grim tone of the manga.
But it might be better to wait until the manga is finished. Otherwise it'd end up being like Hunter x Hunter.
>>2988561
I hope you enjoy it then!
DGM's personally one of my favorite series ( and even had my first husbando) so I'd love to see it get an anime reboot someday and have it bring some life into the fandom.
Hopefully the manga gets to end without any hiatus before that tho
>>2988570
Just wait another decade and we'll have a
Hunter x Hunter Reboot reboot.
Never thought I'd see a D.G-M thread again, among others. Stay classy, /cm/.
The story becoming convoluted is probably one of the biggest issues. It had a clear theme at the beginning and cohesion, but the mangaka's losing her focus. (Try re-reading Alma's ark in one sitting... Messy and awkward, even tho he's one of my favorite characters.)
Looking forward to this upcoming chapter. Good series overall.

Boy you best be joking. You'd need some seriously rose colored glasses to see that. The manga is way cool.
I remember when I first got into DGM and LaviYuu was actually the most popular pair for a time. I wonder why that pair was so popular?
>>2996664
They seem to be pretty close in age and maybe possibly friends before allen came into the picture?
I wasn't personally into it. More of a allenxlink, allenxyuu fan myself
>>2996664
Oh? As far as I remember, KandaxAllen was by far the most popular pairing in the fandom, followed by LavixAllen and then LavixKanda
LaviYuu was actually one of my very first ships ahah;; Even tho they barely interacted in canon, they had this offscreen friendship thing going on which I really liked!
>sees dgm thread
>saves everything
Thanks. This is awesome.
Anime announced.
We're double back now.
Get hype.
You guys should really check out Hoshino's instagram, it has some great stuff
It's hoshino1000
>>3002672
Yep, already congratulated hoshino on the new anime on instagram.
Holy shit though, what a time to be alive. We are going directly into the canon gay kanda arc.
>>3002697
Oh god Allen sitting on Cross's lap. I love reluctant father Cross.
So do we know yet if the anime is just going to be an OVA for Alma's stuff or if it's going to be a regular 13-20 episode run?
>>2988553
>>2988553
Alright im gonna have to disagree with this. I read the manga, and no it isn't that deep or complex. I normally wouldn't give a shit, but Im starting to see lots of people call shit deep for no reason. Like the damn steven universe fans. Maybe baccano, death note, or ghost in the shell.
>>2988440
Can't be as homo as ultimo.
>>3018178
Man alive, what in the fuck is that, comrade?
