I live in a Little Jakarta kinda area.
Half the people on my block are Indonesian, there are two Indonesian restaurants at my corner, another two a few blocks down from my corner in opposite directions and at least a half dozen others within walking distance.

I would say Filipino food, even though I don't know much of it. I love the interesting flavors like peanut butter, bay leaf, and pineapple. Also the heartiness and nurturing aspect. Definitely a cuisine that will fill you up no questions asked.

afghani food. it's similar to other middle eastern cuisines with lots of flat breads and kebabs and rice, but it's so flavorful and there's always a lot of different little dishes like in spanish food.

Daarnaast is boerenkool zelf (de groente) niet zeer smaakvol, slechts een beetje bitter.

Bij de jumbo (en andere supermarkten) kun je van die instant noodles kopen, koop een aantal van de garnaal variant van het merk yumyum.
Stuk of 2-3 zal voldoende moeten zijn voor 1-2 personen, hangt af van je eetlust..
Koop een zak tilapiafilet, vers als je dat kan krijgen, anders bevroren. laat thuis ontdooien.
In de instantnoodles zitten de noodles, een zakje met kruiden, en een zakje met olie.
Kook de noodles en bak ze met kruiden naar keuze, ik doe meestal een terriyaki saus met wat kerrie en chilli-poeder met nog wat gember en knoflook.
De vis paneer je met meel en bak je in olie (naar keuze) en kruid je met de olie en kruiden van de noodles.
Als het korstje goudbruin is doe je het in een licht geoliede ovenschaal met wat uitjes in de oven.
Dit doe je tot je alle vis gebakken hebt, daarna alle vis 5 minuutjes in de oven op lage temp. (100 C)
Tegelijk serveren, je kan wat groenten bij de noodles toevoegen.
