Pretzels don't need a dip, especially the small hard kind like in the OP pic. They're meant to taste like salt and pretzel.
I only recently found out that some people dip them in hummus (which I love), but it makes no sense and is honestly a terrible combination.
Step 1: take cheese whiz
step 2: roast jalapenos
step 3: get cream cheese and a sharp white cheddar
step 4: add some milk/cream to a pan
